1 Ісус у відповідь продовжив говорити притчами:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ―Царство Небесне подібне до Царя, який приготував весілля для свого сина.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Він надіслав своїх рабів покликати запрошених на весілля, але ті не захотіли прийти.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Тоді надіслав інших рабів сказати запрошеним: «Ось я приготував обід, моїх волів та вгодовану худобу вже забито, усе готове. Приходьте на весілля!»
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Але вони знехтували й пішли: один – на своє поле, інший – торгувати.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Інші ж, схопивши його рабів, познущалися над ними та вбили їх.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Тоді цар обурився та надіслав своє військо, знищив тих убивць і спалив їхнє місто.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 І сказав своїм рабам: «Весілля вже готове, а запрошені виявились недостойними.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Отже, ідіть на перехрестя доріг та запрошуйте, кого зустрінете, на весілля».
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ті раби вийшли на дороги та покликали всіх, кого зустріли, – як поганих, так і добрих; і весільна зала наповнилася гостями.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Але коли цар прийшов подивитися на гостей, то побачив там чоловіка, який не був одягнений у весільний одяг.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 І сказав йому: «Друже, як ти зайшов сюди, не маючи весільного одягу?» Проте той мовчав.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Тоді Цар сказав слугам: «Зв’яжіть йому руки та ноги й викиньте до зовнішньої тьми. Там буде плач та скрегіт зубів.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Адже багато покликаних, та мало обраних».
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Тоді фарисеї пішли та радились, як спіймати Ісуса на слові.

16 І надіслали до Нього своїх учнів разом з іродіанами, які запитали:
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Отже, скажи нам, як Ти вважаєш: чи годиться платити податок Кесареві, чи ні?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Але Ісус, зрозумівши їхнє лукавство, сказав:
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Покажіть Мені монету для податку.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Він сказав їм:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Вони відповіли:
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Почувши це, вони здивувалися й, залишивши Його, пішли геть.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Того ж дня прийшли до Нього садукеї, які кажуть, що не існує воскресіння з мертвих, і запитали Його:
23 — ausente —
24 ―Учителю, Мойсей сказав: «Якщо хтось помре, не маючи дітей, то нехай його брат одружиться з дружиною померлого та підніме нащадка своєму братові».
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Було ж у нас семеро братів. Перший одружився та помер, і, не маючи дітей, залишив дружину своєму братові.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Так само другий і третій – аж до сьомого.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Після всіх померла й жінка.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Отже, при воскресінні дружиною котрого з семи вона буде? Адже всі мали її за дружину.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ісус у відповідь сказав їм:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 При воскресінні не одружуються й не виходять заміж, а є як ангели на небі.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 А щодо воскресіння з мертвих, хіба ви не читали, що сказав вам Бог:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 «Я – Бог Авраама, Бог Ісаака і Бог Якова»?Він є Богом не мертвих, а живих!
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Почувши це, люди були здивовані Його вченням.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Фарисеї, почувши, що Він змусив садукеїв замовкнути, зібралися разом.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Один із них, учитель Закону, запитав Його, випробовуючи:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 ―Учителю, яка заповідь найбільша в Законі?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Він відповів йому:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Це перша та найбільша заповідь.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 А друга подібна до неї: «Люби ближнього свого, як самого себе».
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 На ці дві заповіді спираються весь Закон та Пророки.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Коли зібралися фарисеї, Ісус запитав їх:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ―Що ви думаєте про Христа? Чий Він Син?
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Він сказав:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 «Господь сказав Господеві моєму:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Отже, якщо Давид називає Його Господом, як Він може бути його Сином?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 І ніхто не міг Йому відповісти ані слова. Від того дня ніхто не наважувався запитувати Його.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
