1 І, озвавшись Ісус, знов промовив до них приповістями, глаголючи:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 Уподобилось царство небесне чоловіку цареві, що нарядив весїллє синові своєму;
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 і післав слуги свої кликати запрошених на весїллє; і не схотїли прийти.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Знов післав инші слуги, говорячи: Скажіть запрошеним: Ось я обід мій наготовив; воли мої й годоване побито, і все налагоджене; ідіть на весїллє.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Вони ж, занехавши, пійшли собі, один на хутір, другий до свого торгу;
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 а останнї, взявши слуг його, знущались із них, та й повбивали.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Цар же, почувши, прогнівив ся, й піславши військо своє, вигубив тих розбишак, і запалив город їх.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Рече тодї до слуг своїх: Весїллє налагоджене, запрошені ж не були достойні.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ійдїть же на росхідні шляхи, й кого знайдете, запрошуйте на весїллє.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 І вийшовши слуги ті на шляхи, зібрали всїх, кого знайшли, й лихих і добрих; і було весїллє повне гостей.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Цар же, ввійшовши подивитись на гостї, побачив там чоловіка, не одягненого у весїлню одежу;
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 і рече до него: Друже, як се увійшов єси сюди, не мавши весїлньої одежі? Він же мовчав,
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Рече тодї цар до слуг: Звязавши йому ноги й руки, візьміть його й викиньте в темряву надвірню; там буде плач і скреготаннє зубів.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Багато бо званих, мало ж вибраних.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Тодї пійшли Фарисеї, і радили раду, як би піймати Його на слові.

16 І висилають до Него учеників своїх з Іродиянами, говорячи: Учителю, знаємо, що ти правдивий вси, й на путь Божий правдою наставляєш, і нї про кого не дбаєш; бо не дивиш ся на лице людей.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Скажи ж тепер нам: Як тобі здаєть ся? годить ся давати данину кесареві, чи нї?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Постеріг же Ісус лукавство їх, і рече: Що ви мене спокутуєте, лицеміри?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Покажіть менї гріш податковий. Вони ж принесли йому денария.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 І рече до них: Чиє обличче се й надпись?
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Кажуть йому: Кесареве. Тодї рече до них: Віддайте ж кесареве кесареві, а Боже Богові.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 І, вислухавши, здивувались, і, лишивши Його, пійшли.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Того ж дня приступили до Него Садукеї, що кажуть: нема воскресення, і питали Його,

24 говорячи: Учителю, Мойсей сказав: Коли хто вмре, не мавши дїтей, то нехай брат його оженить ся з жінкою його, й воскресить насїннє братові своєму.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Було ж у нас сім братів; і первий, оженившись, умер, і, не мавши васїння, покинув жінку свою братові своєму;
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 так само й другий брат, і третїй аж до семого.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Опісля ж усїх умерла й жінка.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Оце ж у воскресенню кому з сїмох буде вона жінкою? всї бо мали її.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Озвав ся ж Ісус і рече до них: Помиляєтесь ви, не знаючи писання анї сили Божої.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Бо в воскресенню не женять ся нї віддають ся, а будуть як ангели Божі на небі.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Про воскресеннє ж мертвих хиба не читали, що сказано вам од Бога, глаголючого:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 Я Бог Авраамів, і Бог Ісааків, і Бог Яковів? Не єсть Бог Богом мертвих, а живих.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 І, слухаючи народ, дивував ся наукою Його.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Фарисеї ж, почувши, що Вів примусив Садукеїв мовчати, зібрались ради того.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 І спитав один з них, учитель закону, спокушуючи Його й кажучи:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 Учителю, котора заповідь велика в законі?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Ісус же рече йому: Люби Господа Бога твого всїм серцем твоїм, і всею душею твоєю, і всею думкою твоєю.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Се перва й велика заповідь.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Друга ж подібна їй: Люби ближнього твого, як себе самого.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 На сих двох заповідях увесь закон і пророки стоять.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Як же зібрались Фарисеї, питав їх Ісус,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 глаголючи: Що ви думаєте про Христа? чий Він син? Кажуть Йому: Давидів.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Рече Він до них: Як же се Давид зве Його в дусї Господом, говорячи:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Рече Господь Господеві моєму: Сиди по правицї в мене, доки положу ворогів Твоїх підніжком ніг твоїх?
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Коли ж Давид зве Його Господом, то як же Він син йому?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 І нїхто не з'умів йому відказати нї слова, й нїхто з того часу не важив ся питати Його ніколи.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
