1 O God of my praise, do not keep silent,
1 Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi. Não te cales, ó Deus do meu louvor.
2 for ⌞wicked and deceitful mouths⌟ have opened against me. They speak to me with a lying tongue.
2 Pois a boca do perverso e a boca do enganoso estão abertas contra mim; eles falaram contra mim com língua mentirosa.
3 They also surround me with words of hate, and fight me without cause.
3 Eles também me cercaram com palavras de ódio, e lutaram contra mim sem causa.
4 In return for my love they accuse me, though I am in prayer.
4 Por causa do meu amor eles são meus adversários, mas eu me dou à oração.
5 So they inflicted evil against me in return for good and hatred in return for my love.
5 E eles me retribuíram o mal pelo bem, e o ódio por meu amor.
6 Appoint over him a wicked man, and let an accuser stand at his right hand.
6 Põe tu um homem perverso sobre ele, e que Satanás fique em sua direita.
7 When he is judged, let him come out guilty, and let his prayer become as sin.
7 Quando ele for julgado; seja condenado, e a sua oração se torne pecado.
8 Let his days be few; let another take his office.
8 Que seus dias sejam poucos, e que outro tome seu ofício.
9 Let his children be orphans, and his wife a widow,
9 Que seus filhos sejam órfãos, e sua esposa, viúva.
10 and let his children wander aimlessly and beg, and let them plead from their ruins.
10 Que seus filhos sejam continuamente vagabundos, e pedintes; que eles também busquem seu pão em lugares desolados.
11 Let the creditor seize all that is his, and let strangers plunder his property.
11 Que o extorquidor apanhe tudo o que ele tem, e os estranhos despojem do seu trabalho.
12 Let there be none who extend to him loyal love, nor any who pities his orphans.
12 Que não haja ninguém que estenda a misericórdia até ele; nem haja ninguém para favorecer suas crianças órfãs.
13 Let his descendants be cut off. Let their name be blotted out in the next generation.
13 Que a sua posteridade seja cortada fora; e na geração seguinte que o nome deles seja apagado.
14 Let the iniquity of his ancestors be remembered before Yahweh, and let the sin of his mother not be blotted out.
14 Que a iniquidade de seus pais seja lembrada com o SENHOR; e que os pecados de sua mãe não sejam apagados.
15 Let them be before Yahweh continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth,
15 Que eles estejam continuamente diante do SENHOR; que ele corte fora a lembrança deles da terra.
16 because he did not remember to show loyal love, but he pursued anyone, poor or needy or brokenhearted, to slay them.
16 Porque aquele que não se lembra de mostrar misericórdia, mas persegue o pobre e o homem necessitado, para que pudesse até mesmo matar o quebrantado de coração.
17 Because he loved cursing, let it come upon him. Because he did not delight in blessing, let it be far from him.
17 como ele amou amaldiçoar, que a mesma venha a ele; como ele não se deleitou em abençoar, ela se afaste dele.
18 Because he wore a curse as his robe, let it enter ⌞his body⌟ like water, and into his bones like oil.
18 Como ele se vestiu com o amaldiçoar como que com sua vestimenta, que ela entre em suas entranhas como água, e como óleo em seus ossos.
19 May it be for him like a garment in which he wraps, and a belt ⌞he continually wears⌟.
19 Seja para ele como a roupa que o cobre, e por cinturão com o qual ele é cingido continuamente.
20 Let this be the punishment for my accusers from Yahweh, even those who speak evil against my life.
20 Que esta seja a recompensa dos meus adversários vinda do SENHOR, e daqueles que falam o mal contra a minha alma.
21 But you, O Yahweh my Lord, deal with me for your name’s sake. Because your loyal love is good, deliver me,
21 Mas faze tu por mim, ó DEUS, o Senhor, por causa do teu nome; porque a tua misericórdia é boa, livra-me.
22 for I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
22 Pois sou pobre e necessitado, e o meu coração está ferido dentro de mim.
23 Like a lengthening shadow I am passing away; I am shaken off like a locust.
23 Vou-me como a sombra quando declina; sou sacudido para cima e para baixo como a locusta.
24 My knees ⌞buckle⌟ from fasting, and my body grows lean without fat.
24 Meus joelhos estão fracos pelo jejum, e a minha carne tem falta de gordura.
25 And so I am a disgrace to them; when they see me, they shake their heads.
25 Também me tornei uma vergonha para eles; quando olharam para mim, balançaram as suas cabeças.
26 Help me, O Yahweh my God; save me according to your loyal love,
26 Ajuda-me, ó SENHOR, meu Deus; ó salva-me segundo a tua misericórdia.
27 that they may know that this is your hand, that you, O Yahweh, you have done it.
27 Que eles saibam que esta é a tua mão; que tu, SENHOR, o fizeste.
28 Let them curse, but you bless. When they arise, let them be put to shame, that your servant may be glad.
28 Que amaldiçoem, mas abençoa tu; quando eles se levantarem, que sejam envergonhados, mas que o teu servo se regozije.
29 Let my accusers put on disgrace, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a robe.
29 Que meus adversários se vistam de vergonha, e se cubram com sua própria confusão, como que com um manto.
30 I will give thanks to Yahweh exceedingly with my mouth, and in the midst of many I will praise him,
30 Eu louvarei grandemente o SENHOR com a minha boca; sim, eu o louvarei entre a multidão.
31 for he stands at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those judging his life.
31 Pois ele estará à direita do pobre, para salvá-lo daqueles que condenam sua alma.
