¹ It is good to give thanks to Yahweh, And to sing praises unto thy Name, O Most High;

¹ Bom é louvar ao SENHOR, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo;

² To declare, in the morning, thy lovingkindness, And thy faithfulness at night;

² Para de manhã anunciar a tua benignidade, e todas as noites a tua fidelidade;

³ Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon a harp, With resounding music on the lyre.

³ Sobre um instrumento de dez cordas, e sobre o saltério; sobre a harpa com som solene.

⁴ For thou hat made me glad, O Yahweh, in thy doing, In the works of thy hands, will I shout for joy.

⁴ Pois tu, Senhor, me alegraste pelos teus feitos; exultarei nas obras das tuas mãos.

⁵ How great have grown thy works, Yahweh, very deep are laid thy plans!

⁵ Quão grandes são, Senhor, as tuas obras! Mui profundos são os teus pensamentos.

⁶ A man that is brutish, cannot know, And, dullard, cannot discern this:

⁶ O homem brutal não conhece, nem o louco entende isto.

⁷ When the lawless do thrive like grass, And all the workers of iniquity have blossomed, It is that they may be destroyed for ever.

⁷ Quando o ímpio crescer como a erva, e quando florescerem todos os que praticam a iniqüidade, é que serão destruídos perpetuamente.

⁸ But, thou, shalt be on high age-abidingly, O Yahweh.

⁸ Mas tu, Senhor, és o Altíssimo para sempre.

⁹ For lo! thine enemies, Yahweh, For lo! thine enemies, shall perish, They shall be scatteredall the workers of iniquity;

⁹ Pois eis que os teus inimigos, Senhor, eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; serão dispersos todos os que praticam a iniqüidade.

¹⁰ But thou wilt exalt, as the buffalo, my horn, I have been anointed, with fresh oil.

¹⁰ Porém tu exaltarás o meu poder, como o do boi selvagem. Serei ungido com óleo fresco.

¹¹ So hath mine eye descried them who were lying in wait for me,Of my wicked assailants, mine ears, shall hear.

¹¹ Os meus olhos verão o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos, e os meus ouvidos ouvirão o meu desejo acerca dos malfeitores que se levantam contra mim.

¹² The righteous, like the palm-tree, shall thrive, Like the cedar in Lebanon, shall he grow;

¹² O justo florescerá como a palmeira; crescerá como o cedro no Líbano.

¹³ They who are planted in the house of Yahweh, In the courts of our God, shall flourish;

¹³ Os que estão plantados na casa do Senhor florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.

¹⁴ Still shall they bear fruit in old age, Vigorous and fresh, shall they be:

¹⁴ Na velhice ainda darão frutos; serão viçosos e vigorosos,

¹⁵ To declare that upright is Yahweh, My Rock, and no perversity in him.

¹⁵ Para anunciar que o Senhor é reto. Ele é a minha rocha e nele não há injustiça.
