English Jubilee 2000 Bible (JUBL2000) vs BKJ
1 Whosoever loves chastening loves knowledge, but he that hates reproof [is] carnal.
1 Quem ama a instrução ama o conhecimento, mas o que odeia a repreensão é estúpido.
2 The good [man] shall attain the favour of the LORD, but the man of wicked thoughts he will condemn.
2 O bom homem obtém o favor do SENHOR, mas ao homem de perversas imaginações ele condenará.
3 Man shall not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
3 O homem não se estabelecerá pela perversidade, mas a raiz dos justos não será removida.
4 The virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband, but she that makes ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.
4 A mulher virtuosa é uma coroa para seu marido, mas a que o envergonha é como podridão nos seus ossos.
5 The thoughts of the righteous [are] upright, [but] the astuteness of the wicked [is] deceit.
5 Os pensamentos dos justos são retos, mas os conselhos dos perversos são engano.
6 The words of the wicked [are] to lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
6 As palavras dos perversos são para ficar à espreita por sangue, mas a boca dos retos os livrará.
7 God shall overthrow the wicked, and they shall not be any longer, but the house of the righteous shall remain.
7 Os ímpios são derrubados, e não permanecem, mas a casa dos justos ficará de pé.
8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom, but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
8 Um homem será elogiado de acordo com a sua sabedoria, mas aquele que é de coração perverso será desprezado.
9 He that despises himself and becomes a servant [is] better than he that honours himself and lacks bread.
9 Aquele que é desprezado, e tem servo, é melhor do que aquele que honra a si e carece de pão.
10 The righteous is merciful [even] unto his beast, but the piety of the wicked [is] cruel.
10 O homem justo se importa com a vida de seu animal, mas as ternas misericórdias dos perversos são cruéis.
11 He that tills his land shall be satisfied with bread, but he that follows vain [persons is] void of understanding.
11 Aquele que lavra a sua terra se satisfará de pão, mas o que segue pessoas vãs é vazio de entendimento.
12 The wicked desires the net of evil [men], but the root of the righteous shall yield fruit.
12 O perverso deseja a rede dos homens maus, mas a raiz dos justos produz fruto.
13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of [his] lips, but the just shall come out of the tribulation.
13 O perverso é enlaçado pela transgressão de seus lábios, mas o justo sairá do problema.
14 Man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of [his] mouth, and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
14 Um homem se satisfará com o bem pelo fruto de sua boca; e a recompensa das mãos de um homem será dada a ele.
15 The way of the fool [is] right in his own eyes, but he that hears counsel [is] wise.
15 O caminho do tolo é reto para os seus próprios olhos, mas o que ouve o conselho é sábio.
16 A fool's wrath is presently known, but he who covers the injury [is] sane.
16 A ira do tolo é logo conhecida, mas um homem prudente encobre a vergonha.
17 [He that] speaks truth shows forth righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.
17 Aquele que fala a verdade anuncia a justiça, mas a falsa testemunha o engano.
18 There are [those] that speak like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise [is] medicine.
18 Há alguns que falam como pontas de espada, mas a língua dos sábios é saúde.
19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever, but a lying tongue [is] but for a moment.
19 O lábio da verdade se estabelecerá para sempre, mas a língua mentirosa dura só por um momento.
20 Deceit [is] in the heart of those whose thoughts are evil, but joy in that of those whose thoughts are good.
20 O engano está no coração daqueles que imaginam o mal, mas há alegria para os que aconselham a paz.
21 No iniquity shall overtake the righteous: but the wicked shall be filled with evil.
21 Nenhum mal acontecerá ao justo, mas o perverso será cheio de danos.
22 Lying lips [are] abomination to the LORD: but the workers of the truth [are] his delight.
22 Os lábios mentirosos são abominação ao SENHOR, mas os que negociam de forma verdadeira são o seu deleite.
23 The sane man conceals his wisdom: but the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.
23 O homem prudente oculta o conhecimento, mas o coração dos tolos proclama a tolice.
24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the negligent shall be under tribute.
24 A mão dos diligentes dominará, mas os preguiçosos estarão debaixo do tributo.
25 Heaviness in the heart of man makes it stoop: but a good word makes it glad.
25 O peso no coração do homem o abate, mas uma boa palavra o alegra.
26 The righteous causes his neighbour to consider: but the way of the wicked causes them to err.
26 O justo é mais excelente do que o seu vizinho, mas o caminho dos perversos os seduz.
27 The deceitful [man] does not [even] roast that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man [is] precious.
27 O homem preguiçoso não assa o que ele pegou na caça, mas a substância do homem inteligente é preciosa.
28 In the way of righteousness [is] life; and [in] the pathway [thereof there is] no death.:
28 No caminho da justiça está a vida, e na sua vereda não há morte.
