¹ A song of degrees, or Psalme of David. When ye Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them that dreame.

¹ Quando o SENHOR trouxe do cativeiro os que voltaram a Sião, estávamos como os que sonham.

² Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

² Então a nossa boca se encheu de riso e a nossa língua de cântico; então se dizia entre os gentios: Grandes coisas fez o Senhor a estes.

³ The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.

³ Grandes coisas fez o Senhor por nós, pelas quais estamos alegres.

⁴ O Lord, bring againe our captiuitie, as the riuers in the South.

⁴ Traze-nos outra vez, ó Senhor, do cativeiro, como as correntes das águas no sul.

⁵ They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.

⁵ Os que semeiam em lágrimas segarão com alegria.

⁶ They went weeping and caried precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.

⁶ Aquele que leva a preciosa semente, andando e chorando, voltará, sem dúvida, com alegria, trazendo consigo os seus molhos.
