1 Be ye folowers of god as dere children
1 Portanto, sejam imitadores de Deus, como filhos amados,
2 and walke in love even as Christ loved vs and gave him silfe for vs an offerynge and a sacrifyce of a swete saver to god.
2 e vivam em amor, como também Cristo nos amou e se entregou por nós como oferta e sacrifício de aroma agradável a Deus.
3 So that fornicacion and all vnclennes or coveteousnes be not once named amonge you as it be commeth saynctes:
3 Entre vocês não deve haver nem sequer menção de imoralidade sexual nem de qualquer espécie de impureza nem de cobiça; pois estas coisas não são próprias para os santos.
4 nether filthynes nether folishe talkyng nether gestinge which are not comly: but rather gevynge of thankes
4 Não haja obscenidade nem conversas tolas nem gracejos imorais, que são inconvenientes, mas, ao invés disso, ação de graças.
5 For this ye knowe yt no whormonger other vnclene person or coveteous person which is the worshipper of ymages hath eny inheritaunce in the kyngdome of Christ and of God.
5 Porque vocês podem estar certos disto: nenhum imoral nem impuro nem ganancioso, que é idólatra, tem herança no Reino de Cristo e de Deus.
6 Let no ma deceave you with vayne wordes. For thorow soche thinges cometh the wrath of God vpon the chyldre of vnbelefe.
6 Ninguém os engane com palavras tolas, pois é por causa dessas coisas que a ira de Deus vem sobre os que vivem na desobediência.
7 Be not therfore companions with them.
7 Portanto, não participem com eles dessas coisas.
8 Ye were once dercknes but are now light in the Lorde. Walke as chyldren of light.
8 Porque outrora vocês eram trevas, mas agora são luz no Senhor. Vivam como filhos da luz,
9 For the frute of the sprete is in all goodnes rightewesnes and trueth.
9 pois o fruto da luz consiste em toda bondade, justiça e verdade;
10 Accept that which is pleasinge to the Lorde:
10 e aprendam a discernir o que é agradável ao Senhor.
11 and have no fellishippe with the vnfrutfull workes of dercknes: but rather rebuke them.
11 Não participem das obras infrutíferas das trevas; antes, exponham-nas à luz.
12 For it is shame even to name those thinges which are done of them in secrete:
12 Porque aquilo que eles fazem em oculto, até mencionar é vergonhoso.
13 but all thinges when they are rebuked of the light are manifest. For whatsoever is manifest that same is light.
13 Mas, tudo o que é exposto pela luz torna-se visível, pois a luz torna visíveis todas as coisas.
14 Wherfore he sayth: awake thou that slepest and stond vp from deeth and Christ shall geve the light.
14 Por isso é que foi dito: "Desperta, ó tu que dormes, levanta-te dentre os mortos e Cristo resplandecerá sobre ti".
15 Take hede therfore that ye walke circuspectly: not as foles: but as wyse
15 Tenham cuidado com a maneira como vocês vivem; que não seja como insensatos, mas como sábios,
16 redemynge the tyme: for ye dayes are evyll.
16 aproveitando ao máximo cada oportunidade, porque os dias são maus.
17 Wherfore be ye not vnwyse but vnderstonde what the will of the Lorde is
17 Portanto, não sejam insensatos, mas procurem compreender qual é a vontade do Senhor.
18 and be not dronke with wyne wherin is excesse: but be fulfilled with the sprete
18 Não se embriaguem com vinho, que leva à libertinagem, mas deixem-se encher pelo Espírito,
19 speakynge vnto youre selves in psalmes and ymnes and spretuall songes synginge and makinge melodie to ye Lorde in youre hertes
19 falando entre si com salmos, hinos e cânticos espirituais, cantando e louvando de coração ao Senhor,
20 gevinge thankes all wayes for all thinges vnto God the father in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christ:
20 dando graças constantemente a Deus Pai por todas as coisas, em nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
21 submittinge youre selves one to another in the feare of God.
21 Sujeitem-se uns aos outros, por temor a Cristo.
22 Wemen submit youre selves vnto youre awne husbandes as vnto the Lorde.
22 Mulheres, sujeitem-se a seus maridos, como ao Senhor,
23 For the husbande is the wyves heed even as Christ is the heed of the congregacion and the same is the saveoure of the body.
23 pois o marido é o cabeça da mulher, como também Cristo é o cabeça da igreja, que é o seu corpo, do qual ele é o Salvador.
24 Therfore as the cogregacion is in subieccion to Christ lykwyse let the wyves be in subieccion to their husbandes in all thinges.
24 Assim como a igreja está sujeita a Cristo, também as mulheres estejam em tudo sujeitas a seus maridos.
25 Husbandes love youre wyves even as Christ loved the congregacion and gave him silfe for it
25 Maridos, amem suas mulheres, assim como Cristo amou a igreja e entregou-se a si mesmo por ela
26 to sanctifie it and clensed it in the fountayne of water thorow the worde
26 para santificá-la, tendo-a purificado pelo lavar da água mediante a palavra,
27 to make it vnto him selfe a glorious congregacion with oute spot or wrynckle or eny soche thinge: but that it shuld be holy and with out blame.
27 e apresentá-la a si mesmo como igreja gloriosa, sem mancha nem ruga ou coisa semelhante, mas santa e inculpável.
28 So ought men to love their wyves as their awne bodyes. He that loveth his wyfe loveth him sylfe.
28 Da mesma forma, os maridos devem amar as suas mulheres como a seus próprios corpos. Quem ama sua mulher, ama a si mesmo.
29 For no ma ever yet hated his awne flesshe: but norissheth and cherisseth it even as the lorde doth the congregacion.
29 Além do mais, ninguém jamais odiou o seu próprio corpo, antes o alimenta e dele cuida, como também Cristo faz com a igreja,
30 For we are members of his body of his flesshe and of his bones.
30 pois somos membros do seu corpo.
31 For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cotinue with his wyfe and two shalbe made one flesshe.
31 "Por essa razão, o homem deixará pai e mãe e se unirá à sua mulher, e os dois se tornarão uma só carne".
32 This is a great secrete but I speake bitwene Christ and the cogregacion.
32 Este é um mistério profundo; refiro-me, porém, a Cristo e à igreja.
33 Neverthelesse do ye so that every one of you love his wyfe truely even as him silfe. And let ye wyfe se that she feare her husbade.
33 Portanto, cada um de vocês também ame a sua mulher como a si mesmo, e a mulher trate o marido com todo o respeito.
