1 Be ye folowers of god as dere children
1 Sede, pois, imitadores de Deus, como filhos amados;
2 and walke in love even as Christ loved vs and gave him silfe for vs an offerynge and a sacrifyce of a swete saver to god.
2 E andai em amor, como também Cristo vos amou, e se entregou a si mesmo por nós, em oferta e sacrifício a Deus, em cheiro suave.
3 So that fornicacion and all vnclennes or coveteousnes be not once named amonge you as it be commeth saynctes:
3 Mas a fornicação, e toda a impureza ou avareza, nem ainda se nomeie entre vós, como convém a santos;
4 nether filthynes nether folishe talkyng nether gestinge which are not comly: but rather gevynge of thankes
4 Nem torpezas, nem parvoíces, nem chocarrices, que não convêm; mas antes, ações de graças.
5 For this ye knowe yt no whormonger other vnclene person or coveteous person which is the worshipper of ymages hath eny inheritaunce in the kyngdome of Christ and of God.
5 Porque bem sabeis isto: que nenhum devasso, ou impuro, ou avarento, o qual é idólatra, tem herança no reino de Cristo e de Deus.
6 Let no ma deceave you with vayne wordes. For thorow soche thinges cometh the wrath of God vpon the chyldre of vnbelefe.
6 Ninguém vos engane com palavras vãs; porque por estas coisas vem a ira de Deus sobre os filhos da desobediência.
7 Be not therfore companions with them.
7 Portanto, não sejais seus companheiros.
8 Ye were once dercknes but are now light in the Lorde. Walke as chyldren of light.
8 Porque noutro tempo éreis trevas, mas agora sois luz no Senhor; andai como filhos da luz
9 For the frute of the sprete is in all goodnes rightewesnes and trueth.
9 (Porque o fruto do Espírito está em toda a bondade, e justiça e verdade);
10 Accept that which is pleasinge to the Lorde:
10 Aprovando o que é agradável ao Senhor.
11 and have no fellishippe with the vnfrutfull workes of dercknes: but rather rebuke them.
11 E não comuniqueis com as obras infrutuosas das trevas, mas antes condenai-as.
12 For it is shame even to name those thinges which are done of them in secrete:
12 Porque o que eles fazem em oculto até dizê-lo é torpe.
13 but all thinges when they are rebuked of the light are manifest. For whatsoever is manifest that same is light.
13 Mas todas estas coisas se manifestam, sendo condenadas pela luz, porque a luz tudo manifesta.
14 Wherfore he sayth: awake thou that slepest and stond vp from deeth and Christ shall geve the light.
14 Por isso diz: Desperta, tu que dormes, e levanta-te dentre os mortos, e Cristo te esclarecerá.
15 Take hede therfore that ye walke circuspectly: not as foles: but as wyse
15 Portanto, vede prudentemente como andais, não como néscios, mas como sábios,
16 redemynge the tyme: for ye dayes are evyll.
16 Remindo o tempo; porquanto os dias são maus.
17 Wherfore be ye not vnwyse but vnderstonde what the will of the Lorde is
17 Por isso não sejais insensatos, mas entendei qual seja a vontade do Senhor.
18 and be not dronke with wyne wherin is excesse: but be fulfilled with the sprete
18 E não vos embriagueis com vinho, em que há contenda, mas enchei-vos do Espírito;
19 speakynge vnto youre selves in psalmes and ymnes and spretuall songes synginge and makinge melodie to ye Lorde in youre hertes
19 Falando entre vós em salmos, e hinos, e cânticos espirituais; cantando e salmodiando ao Senhor no vosso coração;
20 gevinge thankes all wayes for all thinges vnto God the father in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christ:
20 Dando sempre graças por tudo a nosso Deus e Pai, em nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo;
21 submittinge youre selves one to another in the feare of God.
21 Sujeitando-vos uns aos outros no temor de Deus.
22 Wemen submit youre selves vnto youre awne husbandes as vnto the Lorde.
22 Vós, mulheres, sujeitai-vos a vossos maridos, como ao Senhor;
23 For the husbande is the wyves heed even as Christ is the heed of the congregacion and the same is the saveoure of the body.
23 Porque o marido é a cabeça da mulher, como também Cristo é a cabeça da igreja, sendo ele próprio o salvador do corpo.
24 Therfore as the cogregacion is in subieccion to Christ lykwyse let the wyves be in subieccion to their husbandes in all thinges.
24 De sorte que, assim como a igreja está sujeita a Cristo, assim também as mulheres sejam em tudo sujeitas a seus maridos.
25 Husbandes love youre wyves even as Christ loved the congregacion and gave him silfe for it
25 Vós, maridos, amai vossas mulheres, como também Cristo amou a igreja, e a si mesmo se entregou por ela,
26 to sanctifie it and clensed it in the fountayne of water thorow the worde
26 Para a santificar, purificando-a com a lavagem da água, pela palavra,
27 to make it vnto him selfe a glorious congregacion with oute spot or wrynckle or eny soche thinge: but that it shuld be holy and with out blame.
27 Para a apresentar a si mesmo igreja gloriosa, sem mácula, nem ruga, nem coisa semelhante, mas santa e irrepreensível.
28 So ought men to love their wyves as their awne bodyes. He that loveth his wyfe loveth him sylfe.
28 Assim devem os maridos amar as suas próprias mulheres, como a seus próprios corpos. Quem ama a sua mulher, ama-se a si mesmo.
29 For no ma ever yet hated his awne flesshe: but norissheth and cherisseth it even as the lorde doth the congregacion.
29 Porque nunca ninguém odiou a sua própria carne; antes a alimenta e sustenta, como também o Senhor à igreja;
30 For we are members of his body of his flesshe and of his bones.
30 Porque somos membros do seu corpo, da sua carne, e dos seus ossos.
31 For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cotinue with his wyfe and two shalbe made one flesshe.
31 Por isso deixará o homem seu pai e sua mãe, e se unirá a sua mulher; e serão dois numa carne.
32 This is a great secrete but I speake bitwene Christ and the cogregacion.
32 Grande é este mistério; digo-o, porém, a respeito de Cristo e da igreja.
33 Neverthelesse do ye so that every one of you love his wyfe truely even as him silfe. And let ye wyfe se that she feare her husbade.
33 Assim também vós, cada um em particular, ame a sua própria mulher como a si mesmo, e a mulher reverencie o marido.
