1 To you, O Yahweh, I lift up my soul.
1 Salmo de Davi. A ti, ó SENHOR, elevo a minha alma.
2 O my God, I trust you; let me not be put to shame. Do not let my enemies exult over me.
2 Ó meu Deus, eu confio em ti; não deixes que eu seja envergonhado, não deixes que meus inimigos triunfem sobre mim.
3 Indeed, none who wait for you should be put to shame. Those who betray without cause should be put to shame.
3 Sim, não deixes que ninguém que espere em ti seja envergonhado; sejam envergonhados aqueles que transgridem sem causa.
4 Make me know your ways, O Yahweh. Teach me your paths.
4 Mostra-me os teus caminhos, ó SENHOR; ensina-me as tuas veredas.
5 Cause me to walk in your truth and teach me, because you are the God of my salvation. I await you ⌞all day long⌟.
5 Guia-me na tua verdade e ensina-me; porque tu és o Deus da minha salvação; em ti eu espero todo o dia.
6 Remember your compassion, O Yahweh, and your acts of loyal love, because they are from of old.
6 Lembra, ó SENHOR, das tuas tenras misericórdias e das tuas benignidades; porque elas são muito antigas.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions. According to your loyal love remember me if you will, for the sake of your goodness, O Yahweh.
7 Não te lembres dos pecados da minha juventude, nem das minhas transgressões; de acordo com a tua misericórdia, lembra-te de mim por causa da tua bondade, ó SENHOR.
8 Good and right is Yahweh; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
8 Bom e reto é o SENHOR; portanto, ele ensinará aos pecadores o caminho.
9 He causes the humble to walk in justice, and teaches the humble his way.
9 Os mansos ele guiará no juízo; e aos mansos ele ensinará seu caminho.
10 All the paths of Yahweh are loyal love and faithfulness for those who keep his covenant and statutes.
10 Todos os caminhos do SENHOR são misericórdia e verdade para os que guardam seu pacto e seus testemunhos.
11 Also, for the sake of your name, O Yahweh, forgive my sin, because it is great.
11 Por causa do teu nome, ó SENHOR, perdoa a minha iniquidade; porque ela é grande.
12 Who is the man fearing Yahweh? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.
12 Que homem é aquele que teme ao SENHOR? A ele ensinará no caminho que escolher.
13 His soul will lodge in prosperity, and his offspring will possess the land.
13 Sua alma habitará no sossego; e a sua semente herdará a terra.
14 Intimate fellowship with Yahweh is for those who fear him, and he makes known his covenant to them.
14 O segredo do SENHOR está com aqueles que o temem; e ele lhes mostrará seu pacto.
15 My eyes are continually toward Yahweh, because he will take my feet from the net.
15 Meus olhos estão sempre em direção ao SENHOR; porque ele arrancará meus pés da rede.
16 Turn to me and have mercy on me because I am lonely and afflicted.
16 Torna-te para mim, e tem misericórdia de mim; porque estou desolado e aflito.
17 Remove the troubles of my heart; bring me out from my distresses.
17 As aflições do meu coração se aumentaram; ó leva-me para fora de minhas angústias.
18 Consider my affliction and trouble, and forgive all my sins.
18 Olha para a minha aflição e para a minha dor; e perdoa todos os meus pecados.
19 Consider that my enemies are many, and they hate me with violent hatred.
19 Considera meus inimigos; porque eles são muitos; e eles me odeiam com ódio cruel.
20 Protect my life and deliver me. Let me not be put to shame, because I take shelter in you.
20 Ó guarda a minha alma, e livra-me; não deixes que eu seja envergonhado; porque eu ponho minha confiança em ti.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for you.
21 Que a integridade e a retidão me preservem; porquanto eu espero em ti.
22 O God, redeem Israel from all its troubles.
22 Redime a Israel, ó Deus, de todos os seus problemas.
