1 who spoke to Yahweh the words of this song ⌞when⌟ Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: “I love you, O Yahweh, my strength.”
1 Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi, servo do SENHOR, que falou ao SENHOR as palavras desta canção no dia em que o SENHOR o livrou da mão de todos os seus inimigos, e da mão de Saul. E ele disse: Eu te amarei, ó SENHOR, minha força.
2 Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I have taken refuge, my shield and the horn of my deliverance, my stronghold.
2 O SENHOR é a minha rocha, e minha fortaleza e meu libertador; meu Deus, minha força, em quem eu confiarei; meu broquel, e o chifre da minha salvação, e a minha torre alta.
3 I called upon Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised, and I was saved from my enemies.
3 Invocarei o nome do SENHOR, que é digno de ser louvado; e então serei salvo de meus inimigos.
4 The ropes of death encircled me, and streams of ruin overwhelmed me.
4 As tristezas da morte me cercaram, e as enchentes de homens ímpios me deixaram com medo.
5 The ropes of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of death confronted me.
5 As tristezas do inferno me cercaram, os laços da morte me impediram.
6 In my trouble I called on Yahweh, and to my God I cried for help. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry for help came up before his presence into his ears.
6 Na minha aflição invoquei ao SENHOR, e clamei ao meu Deus; ele ouviu a minha voz fora de seu templo, e meu clamor chegou até diante dele, até aos seus ouvidos.
7 Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled, and they staggered because he was angry.
7 Então a terra se agitou e tremeu; os fundamentos dos montes também se moveram e se agitaram, porque ele estava irado.
8 Smoke went forth from his nose, and fire from his mouth consumed. Burning coals blazed from him.
8 Subiu uma fumaça saída de suas narinas, e o fogo fora da sua boca devorava; carvões se acenderam por ele.
9 So he bowed the heavens and came down with a thick cloud under his feet.
9 Ele também abaixou os céus, e desceu, e a escuridão estava debaixo de seus pés.
10 And he mounted a cherub and flew, and he swooped down on wings of wind.
10 E ele montou sobre um querubim, e voou; sim, ele voou sobre as asas do vento.
11 He made darkness his hiding place; all about him his covering was a darkness of waters, ⌞thick clouds⌟.
11 Fez das trevas o seu lugar secreto; seu pavilhão que o cercava era de águas escuras e nuvens espessas dos céus.
12 From the brightness before him his clouds passed over with hail and coals of fire.
12 Ao resplendor que estava diante dele suas nuvens passaram, pedras de granizo e brasas de fogo.
13 And Yahweh thundered from the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice with hail and coals of fire.
13 O SENHOR também trovejou nos céus, e o Altíssimo deu sua voz; houve pedras de granizo e brasas de fogo.
14 And he shot his arrows and scattered them, and many lightning bolts and routed them.
14 Sim, ele enviou suas flechas, e as espalhou; ele atirou relâmpagos, e os desconcertou.
15 Then the channels of the sea became visible, and the foundations of the world were uncovered by your rebuke, O Yahweh, by the ⌞blast⌟ of the wind of your nose.
15 Então os canais de águas foram vistos, e os fundamentos do mundo foram descobertos à tua repreensão, ó SENHOR, ao sopro do fôlego das tuas narinas.
16 He reached from on high; he seized me. He drew me from many waters.
16 Enviou desde o alto, ele me tomou; ele me tirou das muitas águas.
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those who hated me because they were stronger than I.
17 Livrou-me do meu inimigo forte e daqueles que me odiavam, porque eram fortes demais para mim.
18 They confronted me on the day of disaster, but Yahweh was my support.
18 Eles me impediram no dia da minha calamidade; mas o SENHOR foi o meu esteio.
19 So he brought me out to a spacious place. He delivered me because he delighted in me.
19 Ele também me trouxe para um lugar espaçoso; livrou-me, porque se comprazia em mim.
20 Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands he has repaid me.
20 O SENHOR recompensou-me de acordo com a minha justiça; de acordo com a limpeza de minhas mãos ele me recompensou.
21 Because I have kept the ways of Yahweh, and have not acted wickedly against my God,
21 Porque guardei os caminhos do SENHOR, e não me apartei perversamente do meu Deus.
22 because all his ordinances are before me, and his statutes I have not removed from me,
22 Porque todos os seus juízos estavam diante de mim, e não afastei os seus estatutos de mim.
23 and I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my guilt.
23 Eu também fui reto diante dele, e me guardei da minha iniquidade.
24 Therefore Yahweh has repaid me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
24 Portanto, o SENHOR me recompensou conforme a minha justiça, conforme a limpeza de minhas mãos aos seus olhos.
25 To the loyal you show yourself loyal. To the blameless you show yourself blameless.
25 Com o misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso; e com o homem reto te mostrarás reto;
26 To the pure you show yourself pure. but to the wicked you show yourself shrewd.
26 Com o puro te mostrarás puro; e com o perverso te mostrarás indomável.
27 For you deliver humble people, but haughty eyes you humiliate.
27 Porque tu salvarás o povo humilde, mas os olhos altivos tu os abaterás.
28 For you light my lamp; Yahweh, my God, lights up my darkness.
28 Porque tu acenderás a minha vela; o SENHOR meu Deus iluminará as minhas trevas.
29 For with you I can charge a troop, and with my God I can scale a wall.
29 Porque por ti eu corri através de uma tropa, e pelo meu Deus saltei sobre um muro.
30 This God—his way is blameless. The word of Yahweh is flawless. He is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
30 Quanto a Deus, seu caminho é perfeito; a palavra do SENHOR é provada; ele é um broquel para todos aqueles que nele confiam.
31 For who is God apart from Yahweh, and who is a rock except our God?
31 Porque quem é Deus, salvo o SENHOR? Ou quem é uma rocha, salvo o nosso Deus?
32 The God who girded me with strength, and made safe my way,
32 É Deus que me cinge de força e torna o meu caminho perfeito.
33 he made my feet like the deer’s, and on my high places he makes me stand.
33 Ele torna os meus pés como os pés das corças, e põe-me nos meus lugares altos.
34 He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
34 Ele ensina as minhas mãos para a guerra, de maneira que um arco de aço é quebrado pelas minhas mãos.
35 You also gave me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your humility made me great.
35 Tu também me deste o escudo da tua salvação; a tua mão direita me susteve, e a tua suavidade me fez grande.
36 You enlarged my step under me, and my ankles did not slip.
36 Tu alargaste meus passos debaixo de mim, de modo que os meus pés não escorregaram.
37 I chased my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back until they were finished off.
37 Persegui os meus inimigos, e os ultrapassei; nem voltei novamente até que eles fossem consumidos.
38 I struck them and they were not able to stand up; they fell under my feet.
38 Eu os feri para que eles não fossem capazes de se levantar; eles estão caídos debaixo dos meus pés.
39 And you girded me with strength for the battle; those rising against me you made to kneel under me.
39 Porque tu me cingiste de força para a batalha; tu subjugaste debaixo de mim aqueles que se levantaram contra mim.
40 And you ⌞made my enemies turn their backs⌟, then I destroyed those who hated me.
40 Tu também me deste os pescoços dos meus inimigos para que eu pudesse destruir os que me odeiam.
41 They cried out but there was no rescuer, even to Yahweh, but he did not answer them.
41 Clamaram, mas não houve ninguém para salvá-los; até ao SENHOR, mas ele não lhes respondeu.
42 And I ground them like dust ⌞in the wind⌟, I emptied them out like mud of the streets.
42 Então os bati como o pó diante do vento; eu os lancei fora como a sujeira das ruas.
43 You rescued me from strife with people; you set me as head (over) nations. People I did not know served me;
43 Tu me livraste das contendas do povo, e me fizeste cabeça dos pagãos; um povo que não conheci me servirá.
44 as soon as ⌞they heard⌟, they obeyed me. The children of a foreign land feigned obedience before me.
44 Assim que eles me ouvirem, me obedecerão; os estranhos se submeterão a mim.
45 The children of a foreign land ⌞lost heart⌟, and they came trembling from their strongholds.
45 Os estranhos desvanecerão, e terão medo fora de seus lugares fechados.
46 Yahweh lives, and blessed be my rock, and may the God of my salvation be exalted—
46 O SENHOR vive; e bendita seja a minha rocha, e que seja exaltado o Deus da minha salvação.
47 the God who executed vengeance for me, and subdued peoples under me,
47 É Deus que me vinga, e sujeita os povos debaixo de mim.
48 who delivered me from my enemies. Indeed, you exalted me higher than those who rose against me. You delivered me from the man of violence.
48 Ele me livra de meus inimigos; sim, tu me elevas sobre aqueles que se levantam contra mim, tu me libertaste do homem violento.
49 Therefore I will give thanks to you among the nations, O Yahweh, and I will sing the praise of your name:
49 Portanto, ó SENHOR, eu darei graças a ti entre os pagãos, e cantarei louvores ao teu nome.
50 the one who makes great victories for his king, and who shows loyal love for his anointed, to David and to his descendants forever.
50 Grande livramento ele dá ao seu rei; e mostra misericórdia ao seu ungido, a Davi, e à sua semente para sempre.
