1 A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.
1 Canção ou Salmo de Asafe. Não estejas em silêncio, ó Deus; não te cales, e não fiques imóvel, ó Deus.
2 O God, do not keep silence; do not hold thy peace or be still, O God!
2 Pois eis que teus inimigos fazem um tumulto, e aqueles que te odeiam levantaram a cabeça.
3 For lo, thy enemies are in tumult; those who hate thee have raised their heads.
3 Eles tomaram astuto conselho contra o teu povo, e consultaram contra os teus escondidos.
4 They lay crafty plans against thy people; they consult together against thy protected ones.
4 Eles disseram: Vinde, nós os cortemos fora para que não sejam uma nação; que o nome de Israel não seja mais em lembrança.
5 They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!"
5 Pois eles se consultaram juntos com um consentimento; estão aliados contra ti.
6 Yea, they conspire with one accord; against thee they make a covenant--
6 Os tabernáculos de Edom, e os ismaelitas; de Moabe e os agarenos;
7 the tents of Edom and the Ish'maelites, Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Gebal, Amom e Amaleque; os filisteus com os habitantes de Tiro.
8 Gebal and Ammon and Am'alek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur também se juntou a eles; eles ajudaram os filhos de Ló. Selá.
9 Assyria also has joined them; they are the strong arm of the children of Lot. [Selah]
9 Faça a eles como aos midianitas; como a Sísera, como a Jabim, no ribeiro de Quisom;
10 Do to them as thou didst to Mid'ian, as to Sis'era and Jabin at the river Kishon,
10 os quais pereceram em En-Dor; tornaram-se como estrume para a terra.
11 who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground.
11 Faze seus nobres como Orebe, e como Zeebe; sim, todos os seus príncipes como Zebá e como Zalmuna.
12 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmun'na,
12 Que disseram: Tomemos para nós as casas de Deus em possessão.
13 who said, "Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God."
13 Ó meu Deus, faze-os como uma roda, como o restolho diante do vento.
14 O my God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind.
14 Como o fogo queima a madeira, e como a chama que incendeia os montes.
15 As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15 Então, persegue-os com a tua tempestade, e deixa-os com medo da tua tormenta.
16 so do thou pursue them with thy tempest and terrify them with thy hurricane!
16 Enche as suas faces de vergonha, para que eles possam buscar o teu nome, ó SENHOR.
17 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17 Que eles sejam confundidos e atribulados para sempre; sim, sejam eles envergonhados e pereçam.
18 Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; let them perish in disgrace. [ (Psalms 83:19) Let them know that thou alone, whose name is the LORD, art the Most High over all the earth. ]
18 Que os homens possam saber que tu, cujo único nome é JEOVÁ, és o Altíssimo sobre a terra.
