1 A Song of Praise. Of David.
1 Eu te exaltarei, meu Deus e meu rei; bendirei o teu nome para todo o sempre!
2 I will extol thee, my God and King, and bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Todos os dias te bendirei e louvarei o teu nome para todo o sempre!
3 Every day I will bless thee, and praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Grande é o Senhor e digno de ser louvado; sua grandeza não tem limites.
4 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Uma geração contará à outra a grandiosidade dos teus feitos; eles anunciarão os teus atos poderosos.
5 One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 Proclamarão o glorioso esplendor da tua majestade, e meditarei nas maravilhas que fazes.
6 On the glorious splendor of thy majesty, and on thy wondrous works, I will meditate.
6 Anunciarão o poder dos teus feitos temíveis, e eu falarei das tuas grandes obras.
7 Men shall proclaim the might of thy terrible acts, and I will declare thy greatness.
7 Comemorarão a tua imensa bondade e celebrarão a tua justiça.
8 They shall pour forth the fame of thy abundant goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
8 O Senhor é misericordioso e compassivo, paciente e transbordante de amor.
9 The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 O Senhor é bom para todos; a sua compaixão alcança todas as suas criaturas.
10 The LORD is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.
10 Rendam-te graças todas as tuas criaturas, Senhor; e os teus fiéis te bendigam.
11 All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and all thy saints shall bless thee!
11 Eles anunciarão a glória do teu reino e falarão do teu poder,
12 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and tell of thy power,
12 para que todos saibam dos teus feitos poderosos e do glorioso esplendor do teu reino.
13 to make known to the sons of men thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy kingdom.
13 O teu reino é reino eterno, e o teu domínio permanece de geração em geração. O Senhor é fiel em todas as suas promessas e é bondoso em tudo o que faz.
14 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds.
14 O Senhor ampara todos os que caem e levanta todos os que estão prostrados.
15 The LORD upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.
15 Os olhos de todos estão voltados para ti, e tu lhes dás o alimento no devido tempo.
16 The eyes of all look to thee, and thou givest them their food in due season.
16 Abres a tua mão e satisfazes os desejos de todos os seres vivos.
17 Thou openest thy hand, thou satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 O Senhor é justo em todos os seus caminhos e é bondoso em tudo o que faz.
18 The LORD is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings.
18 O Senhor está perto de todos os que o invocam, de todos os que o invocam com sinceridade.
19 The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.
19 Realiza os desejos daqueles que o temem; ouve-os gritar por socorro e os salva.
20 He fulfils the desire of all who fear him, he also hears their cry, and saves them.
20 O Senhor cuida de todos os que o amam, mas a todos os ímpios destruirá.
21 The LORD preserves all who love him; but all the wicked he will destroy. [ (Psalms 145:22) My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. ]
21 Com meus lábios louvarei ao Senhor. Que todo ser vivo bendiga o seu santo nome para todo o sempre!
