¹ Yahweh, hath become king, Let the earth exult, Let the multitude of coastlands rejoice.

¹ O Senhor reina, regozije-se a terra; alegrem-se as numerosas ilhas.

² Clouds and thick darkness, are round about him, Righteousness and justice, are the establishing of his throne.

² Nuvens e escuridão estão ao redor dele; justiça e eqüidade são a base do seu trono.

³ Fire, before him, proceedeth, That it may consume, round about, his adversaries.

³ Adiante dele vai um fogo que abrasa os seus inimigos em redor.

⁴ His lightnings, have illumined, the world, The earth, hath seen, and hath trembled;

⁴ Os seus relâmpagos alumiam o mundo; a terra os vê e treme.

⁵ The mountains, like wax, have melted, At the presence of Yahweh, At the presence, of the Lord of all the earth.

⁵ Os montes, como cerca, se derretem na presença do Senhor, na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.

⁶ The heavens, have declared, his righteousness,And all the peoples, have seen, his glory.

⁶ Os céus anunciam a sua justiça, e todos os povos vêem a sua glória.

⁷ Let all who serve an image, be ashamed, They who boast themselves in things of nought, Bow down unto him, all ye gods.

⁷ Confundidos são todos os que servem imagens esculpidas, que se gloriam de ídolos; prostrai-vos diante dele, todos os deuses.

⁸ Zion, hath heard and rejoiced, And the daughters of Judah, have exulted, Because of thy righteous decisions, O Yahweh:

⁸ Sião ouve e se alegra, e regozijam-se as filhas de Judá por causa dos teus juízos, Senhor.

⁹ For, thou, Yahweh, art Most High over all the earth, Greatly hast thou exalted thyself above all gods.

⁹ Pois tu, Senhor, és o Altíssimo sobre toda a terra; tu és sobremodo exaltado acima de todos os deuses.

¹⁰ Ye lovers of Yahweh! be haters of wrong,He preserveth the lives of his men of lovingkindness, From the hand of the lawless, will he rescue them.

¹⁰ O Senhor ama aos que odeiam o mal; ele preserva as almas dos seus santos, ele os livra das mãos dos ímpios.

¹¹ Light, is sown for the righteous one, And, for the upright in heart, rejoicing:

¹¹ A luz é semeada para o justo, e a alegria para os retos de coração.

¹² Rejoice, ye righteous, in Yahweh, And give ye thanks, at the mention of his holiness.

¹² Alegrai-vos, ó justos, no Senhor, e rendei graças ao seu santo nome.
