1 With my voiceunto God, will I make outcry, With my voice unto God, and he will give ear unto me;
1 Ao Músico-chefe, a Jedutum, Salmo de Asafe. Clamei a Deus com a minha voz; a Deus com a minha voz, e ele deu ouvidos a mim.
2 In the day of my distressunto My Lord, will I seek, My hand, by night, hath been outstretched and never once became slack, My soul, hath refused to be consoled;
2 No dia da minha tribulação eu busquei o Senhor; minha ferida correu na noite e não cessou; minha alma se recusou a ser consolada.
3 I remember God and I murmur, I muse, and my spirit swooneth. Selah.
3 Eu me lembrei de Deus, e estava atribulado; eu reclamei, e o meu espírito estava sobrecarregado. Selá.
4 Thou hast held, watching, mine eyes, I was driven to and fro, and could not speak;
4 Tu sustentas os meus olhos acordados; estou tão atribulado que não consigo falar.
5 I reasoned, Of the days of aforetime, Of the years of by-gone ages;
5 Considerei os dias de antigamente, os anos dos tempos antigos.
6 I remember my song in the night,With my own heart, I commune, And my spirit, maketh search:
6 Na noite eu chamo à lembrança a minha canção; converso com o meu próprio coração, e o meu espírito fez uma busca diligente.
7 For ages, will My Lord reject? And, not again, grant acceptance any more?
7 O Senhor rejeitará para sempre? Ele não será mais favorável?
8 Hath his lovingkindness, come to a perpetual end? Hath his word failed to generation after generation?
8 Sua limpa misericórdia se foi para sempre? Acaso sua promessa falha para sempre?
9 Hath GOD, forgotten to show favour? Or hath he shut up, in anger, his compassions? Selah.
9 Esqueceu-se Deus de ser gracioso? Por ira ele encerrou suas tenras misericórdias? Selá.
10 Then said IAn affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.
10 E eu disse: Esta é a minha enfermidade. Mas eu me lembrarei dos anos da mão direita do Altíssimo.
11 I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;
11 Eu me lembrarei das obras do SENHOR; certamente eu me lembrarei das tuas maravilhas antigas.
12 And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse:
12 Eu também meditarei em toda tua obra, e falarei dos teus feitos.
13 O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way,Who is a great GOD like Elohim?
13 Teu caminho, ó Deus, está no santuário; quem é um Deus tão grande como o nosso Deus?
14 Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully,Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;
14 Tu és o Deus que faz maravilhas; tu declaraste a tua força entre os povos.
15 Thou didst redeem, with thine armThy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
15 Com o teu braço tu redimiste o teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. Selá.
16 The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;
16 As águas te viram, ó Deus, as águas te viram; elas tiveram medo, as profundezas também se atribularam.
17 The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;
17 As nuvens derramaram água, os céus enviaram um som; tuas flechas também saíram.
18 The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;
18 A voz do teu trovão estava no céu; os raios iluminaram o mundo, a terra tremeu e se agitou.
19 In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:
19 Teu caminho está no mar, e a tua vereda nas grandes águas, e os teus passos não são conhecidos.
20 Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
20 Tu lideras teu povo como um rebanho pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.
