1 My GOD, my GOD, why hast thou forsaken me? Far from saving me, The words of my loud lamentation?
1 Meu Deus, meu Deus, por que me abandonaste? Por que ficas tão longe? Por que não escutas quando grito pedindo socorro?
2 My God! I keep cryingBy day, and thou dost not answer, and, By night, and there is no rest for me.
2 Meu Deus, durante o dia eu te chamo, mas tu não respondes. Eu te chamo de noite, mas não consigo descansar.
3 But, thou, art holy, Who inhabitest the praises of Israel.
3 Tu, porém, és santo e, sentado no teu trono, recebes os louvores do povo de Israel.
4 In thee, trusted our fathers, They trusted, and thou didst deliver them;
4 Os nossos antepassados puseram a sua confiança em ti; eles confiaram em ti, e tu os salvaste.
5 Unto thee, made they outcry, and escaped, In thee, they trusted, and had not turned pale.
5 Eles te pediram ajuda e escaparam do perigo; confiaram em ti e não ficaram desiludidos.
6 But, I, am a worm and no one, a reproach of men, and despised of a people;
6 Eu não sou mais um ser humano; sou um verme. Todos zombam de mim e me desprezam.
7 All that see me, laugh at me,They open wide the mouth, They shake the head:
7 Todos os que me veem caçoam de mim, mostrando a língua e balançando a cabeça.
8 He should trust in Yahwehlet him deliver him,Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.
8 Eles dizem: “Você confiou em Deus, o então por que ele não o salva? Se ele gosta de você, por que não o ajuda?”
9 For, thou, art he that severed me from the womb, he that caused me to trust, upon the breasts of my mother;
9 No entanto, ó Deus, tu me trouxeste ao mundo quando nasci e, quando eu era uma criancinha, tu me guardaste.
10 Upon thee, was I cast from the time I was born, From the womb of my mother, my GOD, hast thou been.
10 Desde o meu nascimento, fui entregue aos teus cuidados; desde que nasci, tu tens sido o meu Deus.
11 Be not far from me, for, distress, is near, For there is none to help.
11 Não te afastes de mim, pois o sofrimento está perto, e não há ninguém para me ajudar.
12 Many bulls have surrounded me, Strong oxen of Bashan, have enclosed me;
12 Como touros, muitos inimigos me cercam; todos eles estão em volta de mim, como fortes touros da terra de Basã.
13 They have opened wide against me their mouth, A lion rending and roaring.
13 Como leões, abrem a boca, rugem e se atiram contra mim.
14 Like water, am I poured out, and, put out of joint, are all my bones,My heart, hath become, like wax, it is melted in the midst of my body;
14 Já não tenho mais forças; sou como água derramada no chão. Todos os meus ossos estão fora do lugar; o meu coração é como cera derretida.
15 Dried as a potsherd, is my strength, And, my tongue, is made to cleave to my gums, And, in the dust of death, wilt thou lay me.
15 A minha garganta está seca como o pó, e a minha língua gruda no céu da boca. Tu me deixaste como morto no chão.
16 For dogs have surrounded me,An assembly of evil doers, have encircled me, They have pierced my hands and my feet,
16 Um bando de marginais está me cercando; eles avançam contra mim como cachorros e rasgam as minhas mãos e os meus pés.
17 I may tell all my bones, They, look forthey behold me!
17 Todos os meus ossos podem ser contados. Os meus inimigos me olham e gostam do que veem.
18 They part my garments among them, and, for my vestment, they cast lots.
18 Eles repartem entre si as minhas roupas e fazem
19 But, thou, O Yahweh, be not far off, O my help! to aid me, make haste;
19 Ó Senhor Deus, não te afastes de mim! Vem depressa me socorrer.
20 Rescue, from the sword, my life, from the power of the dog, my solitary self:
20 Salva-me da espada; não deixes que esses cachorros me matem.
21 Save me from the mouth of the lion,Yea, from the horns of wild beasts, hast thou delivered me.
21 Livra-me desses leões; não consigo me defender desses touros selvagens.
22 I will declare thy Name unto my brethren,In the midst of the convocation, will I praise thee.
22 Então contarei à minha gente o que tens feito; na reunião do povo eu te louvarei, dizendo:
23 Ye that revere Yahweh, praise him, All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him, And, stand in awe of him, all ye seed of Israel.
23 “Louvem a Deus, o Senhor , todos os que o Descendentes de Jacó, prestem culto a Deus! Povo de Israel, adore o
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the humbling of the patient one, neither hath he hid his face from him, but, when he cried for help unto him, he heard.
24 Ele não abandona os pobres, nem esquece dos seus sofrimentos. Ele não se esconde deles, mas responde quando gritam por socorro.”
25 Of thee, is my praise in the great convocation, My vows, will I pay, before them who revere him.
25 Na reunião de todo o povo, ó eu te louvarei pelo que tens feito. Na presença de todos os que te temem, oferecerei os que prometi.
26 The patient wronged-ones shall eat and be satisfied, They shall praise Yahweh, who are seekers of him, Let your heart live for aye.
26 Os pobres comerão da carne dos sacrifícios e ficarão satisfeitos; aqueles que adoram o o louvarão. Que sejam sempre prósperos e felizes!
27 All the ends of the earth, will remember and turn to Yahweh, Yea all the families of the nations, will bow themselves down before thee,
27 Todas as nações lembrarão de Deus, o todos os povos da terra se voltarão para ele, e todas as raças o adorarão.
28 For, to Yahweh, belongeth the kingdom, And One to Rule over the nations.
28 Pois o Senhor é Rei e governa as nações.
29 All the great ones of the earth, shall eat and bow down, Before him shall kneel, all that go down to the dust, Even he who had not kept alive, his own soul!
29 Todos os orgulhosos se curvarão na sua presença, e o adorarão todos os mortais, todos os que um dia vão morrer.
30 My seed, shall serve him, It shall he recounted, of the Lord, to a generation that shall come:
30 As pessoas dos tempos futuros o servirão e falarão às a respeito de Deus, o Senhor.
31 That his righteousness may be declared to a people to be born, That he wrought with effect!
31 Os que ainda não nasceram ouvirão falar do que ele fez: “Deus salvou o seu povo!”
