1 My GOD, my GOD, why hast thou forsaken me? Far from saving me, The words of my loud lamentation?
1 Ao Músico-chefe sobre Aijelete-Hás-Saar, Salmo de Davi. Meu Deus, meu Deus, por que me abandonaste? Por que estás tu tão longe de me ajudar e das palavras do meu bramido?
2 My God! I keep cryingBy day, and thou dost not answer, and, By night, and there is no rest for me.
2 Ó meu Deus, eu clamo durante o dia, mas tu não ouves; e na temporada noturna, e não estou em silêncio.
3 But, thou, art holy, Who inhabitest the praises of Israel.
3 Mas tu és santo, ó tu que habitas nos louvores de Israel.
4 In thee, trusted our fathers, They trusted, and thou didst deliver them;
4 Nossos pais confiaram em ti; eles confiaram, e tu os livraste.
5 Unto thee, made they outcry, and escaped, In thee, they trusted, and had not turned pale.
5 Eles clamaram a ti, e foram libertos; confiaram em ti, e não foram confundidos.
6 But, I, am a worm and no one, a reproach of men, and despised of a people;
6 Mas eu sou um verme, e não homem, vergonha dos homens e desprezado do povo.
7 All that see me, laugh at me,They open wide the mouth, They shake the head:
7 Todos os que me veem riem de mim para escarnecer; disparam o lábio e sacodem a cabeça, dizendo:
8 He should trust in Yahwehlet him deliver him,Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.
8 Ele confiou no Senhor que ele iria entregá-lo; que ele o livre, vendo que ele se deleitava nele.
9 For, thou, art he that severed me from the womb, he that caused me to trust, upon the breasts of my mother;
9 Mas tu és aquele que me tirou do útero; tu me fizeste esperar, quando eu estava sobre os seios de minha mãe.
10 Upon thee, was I cast from the time I was born, From the womb of my mother, my GOD, hast thou been.
10 Fui lançado sobre ti desde o útero; tu és o meu Deus desde o ventre de minha mãe.
11 Be not far from me, for, distress, is near, For there is none to help.
11 Não estejas longe de mim, pois a angústia está perto; visto que não há ninguém para ajudar.
12 Many bulls have surrounded me, Strong oxen of Bashan, have enclosed me;
12 Muitos touros me cercaram; fortes touros de Basã me envolveram ao redor.
13 They have opened wide against me their mouth, A lion rending and roaring.
13 Abriram sobre mim suas bocas, como um leão voraz e rugidor.
14 Like water, am I poured out, and, put out of joint, are all my bones,My heart, hath become, like wax, it is melted in the midst of my body;
14 Sou derramado como água, e todos os meus ossos estão fora das juntas; meu coração é como a cera; está derretido no meio de minhas entranhas.
15 Dried as a potsherd, is my strength, And, my tongue, is made to cleave to my gums, And, in the dust of death, wilt thou lay me.
15 Minha força se secou como um caco, e a minha língua se apega à minha mandíbula e tu me trouxeste para o pó da morte.
16 For dogs have surrounded me,An assembly of evil doers, have encircled me, They have pierced my hands and my feet,
16 Porque os cães me cercaram; a assembleia dos perversos me fechou; eles perfuraram minhas mãos e meus pés.
17 I may tell all my bones, They, look forthey behold me!
17 Posso contar todos os meus ossos; eles veem e fixam o olhar sobre mim.
18 They part my garments among them, and, for my vestment, they cast lots.
18 Eles dividem minhas vestes entre si, e lançam sorte sobre a minha vestimenta.
19 But, thou, O Yahweh, be not far off, O my help! to aid me, make haste;
19 Mas não fiques longe de mim, ó SENHOR; ó força minha, apressa-te em socorrer-me.
20 Rescue, from the sword, my life, from the power of the dog, my solitary self:
20 Livra a minha alma da espada; meu querido da força do cão.
21 Save me from the mouth of the lion,Yea, from the horns of wild beasts, hast thou delivered me.
21 Salva-me da boca do leão; porque tu me ouviste desde os chifres dos unicórnios.
22 I will declare thy Name unto my brethren,In the midst of the convocation, will I praise thee.
22 Declararei o teu nome aos meus irmãos; louvar-te-ei no meio da congregação.
23 Ye that revere Yahweh, praise him, All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him, And, stand in awe of him, all ye seed of Israel.
23 Vós, que temeis ao SENHOR, louvai-o; todos vós, a semente de Jacó, glorificai-o; e temei-o todos vós, a semente de Israel.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the humbling of the patient one, neither hath he hid his face from him, but, when he cried for help unto him, he heard.
24 Porque não desprezou nem abominou a aflição dos aflitos, nem escondeu sua face dele; mas quando clamou a ele, ele ouviu.
25 Of thee, is my praise in the great convocation, My vows, will I pay, before them who revere him.
25 O meu louvor será de ti na grande congregação; eu pagarei os meus votos perante os que o temem.
26 The patient wronged-ones shall eat and be satisfied, They shall praise Yahweh, who are seekers of him, Let your heart live for aye.
26 Os mansos comerão e se satisfarão; louvarão ao SENHOR os que o buscam; o vosso coração viverá para sempre.
27 All the ends of the earth, will remember and turn to Yahweh, Yea all the families of the nations, will bow themselves down before thee,
27 Todos os confins do mundo se lembrarão e se tornarão para o SENHOR; e todas as famílias das nações adorarão diante de ti.
28 For, to Yahweh, belongeth the kingdom, And One to Rule over the nations.
28 Porque o reino é do SENHOR, e ele é o governante entre as nações.
29 All the great ones of the earth, shall eat and bow down, Before him shall kneel, all that go down to the dust, Even he who had not kept alive, his own soul!
29 Todos aqueles que forem gordos sobre a terra comerão e adorarão; todos aqueles que descerem ao pó se curvarão diante dele; e ninguém pode manter viva a sua própria alma.
30 My seed, shall serve him, It shall he recounted, of the Lord, to a generation that shall come:
30 Uma semente o servirá; será contada ao Senhor a cada geração.
31 That his righteousness may be declared to a people to be born, That he wrought with effect!
31 Eles virão e declararão sua justiça a um povo que vai nascer, que ele fez isso.
