1 My GOD, my GOD, why hast thou forsaken me? Far from saving me, The words of my loud lamentation?
1 Deus meu, Deus meu, por que me desamparaste? Por que se acham longe de minha salvação as palavras de meu bramido?
2 My God! I keep cryingBy day, and thou dost not answer, and, By night, and there is no rest for me.
2 Deus meu, clamo de dia, e não me respondes; também de noite, porém não tenho sossego.
3 But, thou, art holy, Who inhabitest the praises of Israel.
3 Contudo, tu és santo, entronizado entre os louvores de Israel.
4 In thee, trusted our fathers, They trusted, and thou didst deliver them;
4 Nossos pais confiaram em ti; confiaram, e os livraste.
5 Unto thee, made they outcry, and escaped, In thee, they trusted, and had not turned pale.
5 A ti clamaram e se livraram; confiaram em ti e não foram confundidos.
6 But, I, am a worm and no one, a reproach of men, and despised of a people;
6 Mas eu sou verme e não homem; opróbrio dos homens e desprezado do povo.
7 All that see me, laugh at me,They open wide the mouth, They shake the head:
7 Todos os que me veem zombam de mim; afrouxam os lábios e meneiam a cabeça:
8 He should trust in Yahwehlet him deliver him,Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.
8 Confiou no Senhor ! Livre-o ele; salve-o, pois nele tem prazer.
9 For, thou, art he that severed me from the womb, he that caused me to trust, upon the breasts of my mother;
9 Contudo, tu és quem me fez nascer; e me preservaste, estando eu ainda ao seio de minha mãe.
10 Upon thee, was I cast from the time I was born, From the womb of my mother, my GOD, hast thou been.
10 A ti me entreguei desde o meu nascimento; desde o ventre de minha mãe, tu és meu Deus.
11 Be not far from me, for, distress, is near, For there is none to help.
11 Não te distancies de mim, porque a tribulação está próxima, e não há quem me acuda.
12 Many bulls have surrounded me, Strong oxen of Bashan, have enclosed me;
12 Muitos touros me cercam, fortes touros de Basã me rodeiam.
13 They have opened wide against me their mouth, A lion rending and roaring.
13 Contra mim abrem a boca, como faz o leão que despedaça e ruge.
14 Like water, am I poured out, and, put out of joint, are all my bones,My heart, hath become, like wax, it is melted in the midst of my body;
14 Derramei-me como água, e todos os meus ossos se desconjuntaram; meu coração fez-se como cera, derreteu-se dentro de mim.
15 Dried as a potsherd, is my strength, And, my tongue, is made to cleave to my gums, And, in the dust of death, wilt thou lay me.
15 Secou-se o meu vigor, como um caco de barro, e a língua se me apega ao céu da boca; assim, me deitas no pó da morte.
16 For dogs have surrounded me,An assembly of evil doers, have encircled me, They have pierced my hands and my feet,
16 Cães me cercam; uma súcia de malfeitores me rodeia; traspassaram-me as mãos e os pés.
17 I may tell all my bones, They, look forthey behold me!
17 Posso contar todos os meus ossos; eles me estão olhando e encarando em mim.
18 They part my garments among them, and, for my vestment, they cast lots.
18 Repartem entre si as minhas vestes e sobre a minha túnica deitam sortes.
19 But, thou, O Yahweh, be not far off, O my help! to aid me, make haste;
19 Tu, porém, Senhor , não te afastes de mim; força minha, apressa-te em socorrer-me.
20 Rescue, from the sword, my life, from the power of the dog, my solitary self:
20 Livra a minha alma da espada, e, das presas do cão, a minha vida.
21 Save me from the mouth of the lion,Yea, from the horns of wild beasts, hast thou delivered me.
21 Salva-me das fauces do leão e dos chifres dos búfalos; sim, tu me respondes.
22 I will declare thy Name unto my brethren,In the midst of the convocation, will I praise thee.
22 A meus irmãos declararei o teu nome; cantar-te-ei louvores no meio da congregação;
23 Ye that revere Yahweh, praise him, All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him, And, stand in awe of him, all ye seed of Israel.
23 vós que temeis o Senhor , louvai-o; glorificai-o, vós todos, descendência de Jacó; reverenciai-o, vós todos, posteridade de Israel.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the humbling of the patient one, neither hath he hid his face from him, but, when he cried for help unto him, he heard.
24 Pois não desprezou, nem abominou a dor do aflito, nem ocultou dele o rosto, mas o ouviu, quando lhe gritou por socorro.
25 Of thee, is my praise in the great convocation, My vows, will I pay, before them who revere him.
25 De ti vem o meu louvor na grande congregação; cumprirei os meus votos na presença dos que o temem.
26 The patient wronged-ones shall eat and be satisfied, They shall praise Yahweh, who are seekers of him, Let your heart live for aye.
26 Os sofredores hão de comer e fartar-se; louvarão o Viva para sempre o vosso coração.
27 All the ends of the earth, will remember and turn to Yahweh, Yea all the families of the nations, will bow themselves down before thee,
27 Lembrar-se-ão do Senhor e a ele se converterão os confins da terra; perante ele se prostrarão todas as famílias das nações.
28 For, to Yahweh, belongeth the kingdom, And One to Rule over the nations.
28 Pois do Senhor é o reino, é ele quem governa as nações.
29 All the great ones of the earth, shall eat and bow down, Before him shall kneel, all that go down to the dust, Even he who had not kept alive, his own soul!
29 Todos os opulentos da terra hão de comer e adorar, e todos os que descem ao pó se prostrarão perante ele, até aquele que não pode preservar a própria vida.
30 My seed, shall serve him, It shall he recounted, of the Lord, to a generation that shall come:
30 A posteridade o servirá; falar-se-á do Senhor à geração vindoura.
31 That his righteousness may be declared to a people to be born, That he wrought with effect!
31 Hão de vir anunciar a justiça dele; ao povo que há de nascer, contarão que foi ele quem o fez.
