1 Praise ye Yah, Praise ye the Name of Yahweh, Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh;
1 Aleluia! Louvem o nome do Senhor; louvem-no, servos do Senhor,
2 Who stand In the house of Yahweh, In the courts of the house of our God.
2 vocês, que servem na casa do Senhor, nos pátios da casa de nosso Deus.
3 Praise ye Yah, For good is Yahweh, Sing praises to his Name, For it is full of delight;
3 Louvem o Senhor, pois o Senhor é bom; cantem louvores ao seu nome, pois é nome amável.
4 For, Jacob, hath Yah chosen for himself, Israel, for his own treasure.
4 Porque o Senhor escolheu a Jacó, a Israel como seu tesouro pessoal.
5 For, I, know that great is Yahweh, yea, our Lord, is beyond all gods.
5 Na verdade, sei que o Senhor é grande, que o nosso Soberano é maior do que todos os deuses.
6 Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done,in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:
6 O Senhor faz tudo o que lhe agrada, nos céus e na terra, nos mares e em todas as suas profundezas.
7 Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth,Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.
7 Ele traz as nuvens desde os confins da terra; envia os relâmpagos que acompanham a chuva e faz que o vento saia dos seus depósitos.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man, and of beast;
8 Foi ele que matou os primogênitos do Egito, tanto dos homens como dos animais.
9 Sent signs and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
9 Ele realizou em pleno Egito sinais e maravilhas, contra o faraó e todos os seus conselheiros.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings:
10 Foi ele quem feriu muitas nações e matou reis poderosos:
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
11 Seom, rei dos amorreus, Ogue, rei de Basã, e todos os reinos de Canaã;
12 And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
12 e deu a terra deles como herança, como herança a seu povo Israel.
13 O Yahweh! thy Name, is age-abiding,O Yahweh! thy memorial, is to generation after generation.
13 O teu nome, Senhor, permanece para sempre, a tua fama, Senhor, por todas as gerações!
14 For Yahweh will vindicate his people,and, on his servants, have compassion.
14 O Senhor defenderá o seu povo e terá compaixão dos seus servos.
15 The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:
15 Os ídolos das nações não passam de prata e ouro, feitos por mãos humanas.
16 A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;
16 Têm boca, mas não podem falar, olhos, mas não podem ver;
17 Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose,there is no breath in their mouth.
17 têm ouvidos, mas não podem escutar, nem há respiração em sua boca.
18 Like unto them, shall be they who make them, every one who trusteth in them.
18 Tornem-se como eles aqueles que os fazem e todos os que neles confiam.
19 O house of Israel! bless Yahweh, O house of Aaron! bless Yahweh;
19 Bendiga o Senhor, ó israelitas! Bendiga o Senhor, ó sacerdotes!
20 O house of Levi! bless Yahweh, Ye that revere Yahweh! bless Yahweh.
20 Bendiga o Senhor, ó levitas! Bendigam o Senhor os que temem ao Senhor!
21 Blessed be Yahweh out of Zion, Who inhabiteth Jerusalem, Praise ye Yah!
21 Bendito seja o Senhor desde Sião, aquele que habita em Jerusalém. Aleluia!
