¹ Not unto us, O Yahweh, not unto us,but, unto thine own Name, give glory, concerning thy lovingkindness, concerning thy faithfulness.

¹ Não a nós, ó SENHOR, não a nós, mas ao teu nome dá glória, por tua misericórdia, e por causa da tua verdade.

² Wherefore should the nations say, Pray where is their God?

² Por que os pagãos dirão: Onde está agora o seu Deus?

³ When, our God, is in the heavens, Whatsoever he pleased, hath he done.

³ Mas o nosso Deus está nos céus; ele faz tudo o que lhe apraz.

⁴ Their idols, are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men,

⁴ Seus ídolos são prata e ouro, a obra das mãos dos homens.

⁵ A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;

⁵ Eles têm boca, mas não falam; eles têm olhos, mas não veem.

⁶ Ears, have they, but they hear not, A nose, have they, but they smell not:

⁶ Eles têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; eles têm narizes, mas não cheiram.

⁷ Their hands! but they feel not Their feet! but they walk not, No sound make they in their throat.

⁷ Eles têm mãos, mas não seguram; eles têm pés, mas não andam; nem fala alguma sai através de sua garganta.

⁸ Like unto them, shall be they who make them, Every one who trusteth in them.

⁹ O Israel! trust thou in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!

¹² Yahweh, hath remembered us, he will blessHe will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron;

¹³ He will bless them who revere Yahweh, the small with the great.

¹³ Abençoará os que temem ao SENHOR, tanto pequenos quanto grandes.

¹⁴ Yahweh multiply you, You, and your children.

¹⁴ O SENHOR vos aumentará mais e mais, a vós e a vossos filhos.

¹⁵ Blessed are ye of Yahweh, who made the heavens and the earth:

¹⁵ Sois abençoados do SENHOR, que fez o céu e a terra.

¹⁶ As for the heavens, the heavens, belong to Yahweh, but the earth, hath he given to the sons of men.

¹⁶ O céu, até os céus são do SENHOR; mas a terra ele a deu aos filhos dos homens.

¹⁷ The dead, cannot praise Yah, nor any that go down into silence;

¹⁷ Os mortos não louvam ao SENHOR, nem nenhum dos que descem ao silêncio.

¹⁸ But, we, will bless Yah, from henceforth even unto times age-abiding. Praise ye Yah.

¹⁸ Mas nós bendiremos ao SENHOR, desde este tempo em diante e para sempre. Louvai ao SENHOR.
