1 O God of my praise, do not be silent;
1 Ó Deus, a quem eu louvo, não permaneças calado,
2 For, the mouth of the lawless one and the mouth of the deceiver, against me, are open, They have spoken to me with false tongue;
2 enquanto os perversos me caluniam e falam mentiras a meu respeito.
3 And, with words of hatred, have they surrounded me, and have made war upon me without cause:
3 Eles me cercam de palavras odiosas e me atacam sem motivo.
4 For my love, they have been accusing me, while, I, was at prayer:
4 Retribuem meu amor com acusações, mesmo enquanto oro por eles.
5 Yea they have returned unto meEvil for good; and, Hatred for my love.
5 Pagam-me o bem com o mal, e o amor, com o ódio.
6 Set in charge over him, one who is lawless, and let, an accuser, stand at his right hand;
6 Que um perverso testemunhe contra ele, e um acusador o leve a julgamento.
7 When he is judged, let him go out condemned, and let, his own petition, become a sin;
7 Quando julgarem sua causa, que o declarem culpado; considerem pecado suas orações.
8 Let his days become few, his overseership, let another take;
8 Que sua vida seja curta, e outro ocupe seu lugar.
9 Let his children become fatherless, and his wife a widow;
9 Que seus filhos se tornem órfãos, e sua esposa, viúva.
10 Let his children, wander about, and beg, Let them be driven out of heir ruins;
10 Que seus filhos andem sem rumo, como mendigos, e sejam expulsos de
11 Let the creditor take aim at all that he hath, and let strangers prey on the fruit of his toil;
11 Que os credores tomem todos os seus bens, e estranhos levem o fruto de seu trabalho.
12 Let him have no one to continue lovingkindness, and there be none to favour his fatherless children;
12 Que ninguém o trate com bondade, nem tenha compaixão de seus órfãos.
13 Let his posterity be for cutting off, In another generation, let their name be wiped out;
13 Que todos os seus descendentes morram; que o nome de sua família seja apagado na geração seguinte.
14 Remembered be the iniquity of his fathers against Yahweh, and, the sin of his mother, let it not be wiped out;
14 Que o S enhor nunca se esqueça dos pecados de seus antepassados; que os pecados de sua mãe jamais sejam apagados.
15 Let them be before Yahweh continually, and let the memory of them, be cut off out of the earth.
15 Que o S enhor se lembre sempre de sua culpa; que seu nome seja de todo esquecido.
16 Because that he remembered not to show lovingkindness, but pursued the man that was oppressed and needy, that, the downhearted, he might slay.
16 Pois não quis ser bondoso com os outros; foi no encalço dos pobres e necessitados e perseguiu até a morte os de coração quebrantado.
17 Because he loved cursing, May it have come upon him, Because he delighted not in blessing, May it have kept far from him;
17 Gostava de amaldiçoar; agora, que ele próprio seja amaldiçoado. Não tinha prazer em abençoar; agora, que ele não seja abençoado.
18 Because he clothed himself in cursing as his outer garment, therefore may it have entered like water into his inward part, and like oil into his bones;
18 Para ele, amaldiçoar é como a roupa que ele veste, como a água que bebe, como os alimentos saborosos que come.
19 Be it his, as a garment he shall wrap round him, and for a girdle he shall, at all times, gird on:
19 Agora, que suas maldições voltem para ele; apeguem-se a seu corpo como roupas, amarrem-se em torno dele como um cinto.
20 This, be the reward of mine accusers, from Yahweh, even of them who are speaking wrongfully against my life.
20 Que essas maldições se tornem castigo do S enhor para meus acusadores, para os que falam mal de mim.
21 But, thou, Yahweh, Adonay, deal effectually with me, for the sake of thy Name, Since good is thy lovingkindness, O rescue me;
21 Quanto a mim, ó S enhor Soberano, trata-me bem, por causa do teu nome; livra-me, porque és fiel e bom.
22 For, oppressed and needy, I am, and, my heart, is wounded within me.
22 Pois sou pobre e necessitado, e meu coração está ferido.
23 As a shadow when it stretcheth out, I am gone, I am shaken off like the locust;
23 Vou desaparecendo, como a sombra ao entardecer; sou lançado para longe, como um gafanhoto.
24 My knees, tremble from fasting, and, my flesh, faileth of fatness:
24 De tanto jejuar, meus joelhos estão fracos; não passo de pele e osso.
25 So, I, am become a reproach for them, They see me, they shake their head.
25 Sou motivo de zombaria em todo lugar; quando me veem, balançam a cabeça em desprezo.
26 Help me! O Yahweh my God, Save me, according to thy lovingkindness:
26 Ajuda-me, S enhor , meu Deus; salva-me por causa do teu amor!
27 That they may know that, Thine own hand, this is, Thou, Yahweh, hast done it.
27 Que eles reconheçam que isso veio de ti, que tu mesmo o fizeste, S
28 They, may curse if, thou, wilt bless,Mine assailants, shall be ashamed, but, thy servant, shall rejoice;
28 Que importa se me amaldiçoarem? Tu me abençoarás! Quando me atacarem, serão envergonhados; mas eu, teu servo, continuarei a me alegrar!
29 Mine accusers shall be clothed with confusion, and shall wrap about them, like a cloak, their own shame.
29 Que meus acusadores sejam vestidos de humilhação, que a vergonha os cubra como um manto.
30 I will thank Yahweh loudly with my mouth, Yea, in the midst of multitudes, will I praise him;
30 Eu, porém, sempre darei graças ao S enhor ; louvarei seu nome diante de todos.
31 Because he standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save, from them who would pass sentence on his life.
31 Pois ele está junto aos necessitados, pronto para salvá-los dos que os condenam.
