Salmos 73
Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs ARA
1 BOOK THIRD: A Psalm of Assaph. Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are pure of heart.
1 Com efeito, Deus é bom para com Israel, para com os de coração limpo.
2 But as for me, it lacked but little that my feet had been moved: almost nothing was needed that my steps had slipped.
2 Quanto a mim, porém, quase me resvalaram os pés; pouco faltou para que se desviassem os meus passos.
3 For I was envious at the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
3 Pois eu invejava os arrogantes, ao ver a prosperidade dos perversos.
4 For there are no deadly fetters for them, but their strength is firm.
4 Para eles não há preocupações, o seu corpo é sadio e nédio.
5 They share not in the trouble of mortals, and with men are they not afflicted.
5 Não partilham das canseiras dos mortais, nem são afligidos como os outros homens.
6 Therefore is pride their neckchain: violence envelopeth them as a garment.
6 Daí, a soberba que os cinge como um colar, e a violência que os envolve como manto.
7 Their eyes start out from fatness: they have exceeded their hearts imaginings.
7 Os olhos saltam-lhes da gordura; do coração brotam-lhes fantasias.
8 They scorn, and speak wickedly of oppression: loftily do they speak.
8 Motejam e falam maliciosamente; da opressão falam com altivez.
9 They set their mouth in the heavens, and their tongue walketh busily on the earth.
9 Contra os céus desandam a boca, e a sua língua percorre a terra.
10 Therefore do his people turn away hither: and waters of a full cup are drained by them.
10 Por isso, o seu povo se volta para eles e os tem por fonte de que bebe a largos sorvos.
11 And they say, How should God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
11 E diz: Como sabe Deus? Acaso, há conhecimento no Altíssimo?
12 Behold, these are the wicked; and yet prospering continually they increase in wealth.
12 Eis que são estes os ímpios; e, sempre tranquilos, aumentam suas riquezas.
13 Verily in vain have I thus cleansed my heart, and have washed in innocency my hands:
13 Com efeito, inutilmente conservei puro o coração e lavei as mãos na inocência.
14 While I was afflicted all the day, and my chastisement came every morning.
14 Pois de contínuo sou afligido e cada manhã, castigado.
15 But if I were to say, I will speak thus: behold, I would be treacherous against the generation of thy children.
15 Se eu pensara em falar tais palavras, já aí teria traído a geração de teus filhos.
16 And when I should think to know this, it would be trouble in my eyes;
16 Em só refletir para compreender isso, achei mui pesada tarefa para mim;
17 Until I enter into the sanctuary of God; and understand what their future will be.
17 até que entrei no santuário de Deus e atinei com o fim deles.
18 Surely thou placest them on slippery spots: thou lettest them fall down into destruction.
18 Tu certamente os pões em lugares escorregadios e os fazes cair na destruição.
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they perish, they come to their end with terrific events.
19 Como ficam de súbito assolados, totalmente aniquilados de terror!
20 As a dream after awaking, O Lord, reject thou in wrath their image.
20 Como ao sonho, quando se acorda, assim, ó Senhor, ao despertares, desprezarás a imagem deles.
21 For it fermented in my heart, and in my reins I felt sharp thrusts;
21 Quando o coração se me amargou e as entranhas se me comoveram,
22 But I was indeed foolish, and I knew it not: I was as a thoughtless beast with thee.
22 eu estava embrutecido e ignorante; era como um irracional à tua presença.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast seized hold of me by my right hand.
23 Todavia, estou sempre contigo, tu me seguras pela minha mão direita.
24 With thy counsel wilt thou guide me, and afterward take me on to glory.
24 Tu me guias com o teu conselho e depois me recebes na glória.
25 Whom have I in heaven? and beside thee I desire nothing upon earth.
25 Quem mais tenho eu no céu? Não há outro em quem eu me compraza na terra.
26 Though my flesh and my heart should fall; yet the rock of my heart, and my portion will be God for ever.
26 Ainda que a minha carne e o meu coração desfaleçam, Deus é a fortaleza do meu coração e a minha herança para sempre.
27 For, lo, those that are far from thee shall perish: thou destroyest every one that strayeth away from thee.
27 Os que se afastam de ti, eis que perecem; tu destróis todos os que são infiéis para contigo.
28 But as regardeth me, to draw near to God is good for me: I have put in the Lord Eternal my trust, that I may relate all thy works.
28 Quanto a mim, bom é estar junto a Deus; no para proclamar todos os seus feitos.
