1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

3 The sons of Judah: ‘Er, and Onan, and Shelah, the three who were born unto him of the daughter of Shua’ the Canaanitess. And ‘Er, the first–born of Judah, was evil in the eyes of the Lord: and he slew him.
3 Os filhos de Judá: Her, Onã e Sela, três filhos que lhe nasceram da filha de Sué, a Cananéia. Her, primogênito de Judá, era mau aos olhos do Senhor, pelo que o matou.
4 And Thamar his daughter–in–law bore unto him Perez and Zerach. All the sons of Judah were five.

5 The sons of Perez: Chezron and Chamul.

6 And the sons of Zerach: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara’; all of them five.

7 And the sons of Carmi: ‘Achar the troubler of Israel, who trespassed against the devoted things.

8 And the sons of Ethan: ‘Azaryah.
8 Filho de Etã: Azarias.
9 And the sons of Chezron, that were born unto him: Jerachmeel, and Ram, and Kelubai.
9 Filhos que nasceram de Hesron: Jerameel, Rão e Calubi.
10 And Ram begat ‘Amminadab, and ‘Amminadab begat Nachshon, the prince of the children of Judah;

11 And Nachshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Bo’az,
11 Naasson gerou Salma; Salma gerou Booz;
12 And Bo’az begat ‘Obed, and ‘Obed begat Jesse,
12 Booz gerou Obed; Obed gerou Isaí,
13 And Ishai begat his first–born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shim’a the third,
13 Isaí gerou Eliab, seu primogênito, Abinadab, o segundo, Simaa, o terceiro,
14 Nathanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
14 Natanael, o quarto, Radai, o quinto,
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;

16 And their sisters were Zeruyah, and Abigayil. And the sons of Zeruyah: Abshai, and Joab, and ‘Assahel, three.
16 Suas irmãs eram: Sarvia e Abigail. Os três filhos de Sarvia: Abisai, Joab, e Asael.
17 And Abigayil bore ‘Amassa: and the father of ‘Amassa was Jether the Ishme’elite.
17 Abigail deu à luz Amasa, cujo pai foi Jeter, o ismaelita.
18 And Caleb the son of Chezron begat children of ‘Azubah his wife, and of Jeri’oth; and these are her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
18 Caleb, filho de Hesron, teve filhos de Azuba, sua mulher, como também de Jeriot. Os filhos de Azuba foram: Jaser, Sobab e Ardon.
19 And ‘Azubah died, when Caleb took unto himself Ephrath, who bore unto him Chur.
19 Pela morte de Azuba, Caleb desposou Efrata, que lhe deu à luz Hur.
20 And Chur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.
20 Hur gerou Uri, Uri gerou Bezaleel.
21 And afterward came Chezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gil’ad, and he took her for wife when he was sixty years old: and she bore unto him Segub.
21 Depois Hesron uniu-se à filha de Maquir, pai de Galaad, e desposou-a na idade de sessenta anos; ela lhe deu à luz Segub.
22 And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gil’ad.
22 Segub gerou Jair, que teve vinte e três cidades na terra de Galaad.
23 But Geshur and Aram took the small towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even sixty cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gil’ad.
23 {Os gessureus e os sírios apossaram-se das cidades de Jair, Canat e suas aldeias, ou seja, sessenta localidades.} Todos estes eram filhos de Maquir, pai de Galaad.
24 And after Chezron was dead in Calebephratah, then bore Chezron’s wife Abiyah unto him Ashchur the father of Thekoa’.
24 Depois da morte de Hesron, em Caleb Efrata, sua mulher Abia lhe deu à luz Azur, pai de Tecua.
25 And the sons of Jerachmeel the first–born of Chezron were, Ram the first–born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Achiyah.
25 Os filhos de Jerameel, primogênito de Hesron, foram: Rão, o primogênito, Buna, Arã, Asom e Aquia.
26 Yerachmeel had also another wife, whose name was ‘Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
26 Jerameel teve outra mulher chamada Atara, que foi mãe de Onã.
27 And the sons of Ram the first–born of Jerachmeel were, Ma’az, and Jamin, and ‘Eker.
27 Os filhos de Rão, primogênito de Jerameel, foram: Moos, Jamim e Acar.
28 And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada’. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
28 Os filhos de Onã foram: Semei e Jada. Filhos de Semei: Nadab e Abisur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abichayil, and she bore unto him Achban, and Molid.
29 O nome da mulher de Abisur era Abiail que lhe deu à luz Aobã e Molid.
30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appayim; and Seled died without children.
30 Os filhos de Nadab: Saled e Afaim. Saled morreu sem filhos.
31 And the sons of Appayim: Yish’i. And the sons of Yish’i: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Achlai.
31 Filho de Afaim: Jesi; filho de Jesi: Sesã; filho de Sesã: Oolai.
32 And the sons of Jada’ the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
32 Filhos de Jada, irmão de Semei: Jeter e Jonatã; Jeter morreu sem filhos.
33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerachmeel.
33 Filhos de Jonatã: Falet e Ziza. Estes foram os filhos de Jerameel.
34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarcha’.
34 Sesã não teve filhos, mas muitas filhas. Ele possuía um escravo egípcio de nome Jerra;
35 And Sheshan gave his daughter unto Jarcha’ his servant for wife: and she bore unto him ‘Attai.
35 deu-lhe sua filha por mulher, e ela deu à luz Etei.
36 And ‘Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad.
36 Etei gerou Natã; Natã gerou Zabad;
37 And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat ‘Obed.
37 Zabad gerou Oflal; Oflal gerou Obed;
38 And ‘Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat ‘Azaryah,
38 Obed gerou Jeú, Jeú gerou Azarias;
39 And ‘Azaryah begat Chelez, and Chelez begat El’assah,
39 Azarias gerou Heles; Heles gerou Elasa;
40 And El’assah begat Sissmai, and Sissmai begat Shallum.
40 Elasa gerou Sisamoi; Sisamoi gerou Selum;
41 And Shallum begat Jekamyah, and Jekamyah begat Elishama’.
41 Selum gerou Icamias; Icamias gerou Elisama.
42 Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerachmeel were, Mesha’, his first–born, who was the father of Ziph, and of the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
42 Filhos de Caleb, irmão de Jerameel: Mesa, o mais velho, que foi pai de Zif, e os filhos de Maresa, pai de Hebron.
43 And the sons of Hebron: Korach, and Thappuach, and Rekem, and Shema’.
43 Filhos de Hebron: Coré, Tafua, Recem e Sama.
44 And Shema’ begat Racham, the father of Jorke’am; and Rekem begat Shammai.
44 Sama gerou Samai.
45 And the son of Shammai was Ma’on; and Ma’on was the father of Beth–zur.
45 Filho de Samai: Maon; e Maon foi pai de Betsur.
46 And ‘Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Charan, and Moza, and Gazez; and Charan begat Gazez.
46 Efa, concubina de Caleb, deu à luz Harã, Mosa e Gezez. Harã gerou Gezez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and ‘Ephah, and Sha’aph.
47 Filhos de Jaadai: Regom, Joatão, Gosã Falet, Efa, e Saaf.
48 Ma’achah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirchanah.
48 Maaca, concubina de Caleb deu à luz Saber e Tarana.
49 She bore also Sha’aph the father of Madmannah. Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gib’a: and the daughter of Caleb was ‘Achsah.
49 Ela deu à luz também a Saaf, pai de Madmena, Sué, pai de Macbena e Gabaa. A filha de Caleb era Acsa.
50 These were the sons of Caleb: Benchur, the first–born of Ephratah, Shobal the father of Kiryath–ye’arim,
50 Estes foram os filhos de Caleb, filho de Ur, primogênito de Efrata: Sobal, pai de Cariatiarim,
51 Salma the father of Beth–lechem, Chareph the father of Beth–gader.
51 Salma, pai de Belém, Harif, pai de Betgader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kir’yath–ye’arim had sons: Haroeh, and Chazi–hammenuchoth.
52 Sobal, pai de Cariatiarim, teve por filhos Haroé, Hatsi-Hammenuot.
53 And the families of Kir’yath–ye’arim are the Yithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishra’ites: from these came the Zor’athites, and the Eshthaulites.
53 As famílias de Cariatiarim foram: os jetreus, os afuteus, os semateus, e os masereus. Destes procederam os sareus e os estaoleus.
54 The sons of Salma: Beth–lechem, and the Netophathites, ‘Ataroth of the house of Joab, and Chazi–hammanachthi, the Zor’ite.
54 Filhos de Salma: Belém e os netofateus. Ataroth-Beth-Joab, a metade dos manaquiteus, os sareus,
55 And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Thirathites, the Shim’athites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came from Chammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
55 e as famílias dos escribas que moravam em Jabes: os tiriateus, os quimateus, os sucateus. Estes são os cineus, procedentes de Hamat, pai da casa de Recab.
