1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
1 Estes são os filhos de Israel: Rúben, Simeão, Levi, Judá, Issacar, Zebulom,
2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 The sons of Judah: ‘Er, and Onan, and Shelah, the three who were born unto him of the daughter of Shua’ the Canaanitess. And ‘Er, the first–born of Judah, was evil in the eyes of the Lord: and he slew him.
3 Os filhos de Judá foram Er, e Onã, e Selá; estes três lhe nasceram da filha de Sua, a cananeia; e Er, o primogênito de Judá, foi mau aos olhos do Senhor , pelo que o matou.
4 And Thamar his daughter–in–law bore unto him Perez and Zerach. All the sons of Judah were five.
4 Porém Tamar, sua nora, lhe deu à luz a Perez e a Zerá; todos os filhos de Judá foram cinco.
5 The sons of Perez: Chezron and Chamul.
5 Os filhos de Perez foram Hezrom e Hamul.
6 And the sons of Zerach: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara’; all of them five.
6 E os filhos de Zerá: Zinri, e Etã, e Hemã, e Calcol, e Dara; cinco ao todo.
7 And the sons of Carmi: ‘Achar the troubler of Israel, who trespassed against the devoted things.
7 E os filhos de Carmi foram Acar, o perturbador de Israel, que pecou no anátema.
8 And the sons of Ethan: ‘Azaryah.
8 E o filho de Etã foi Azarias.
9 And the sons of Chezron, that were born unto him: Jerachmeel, and Ram, and Kelubai.
9 E os filhos de Hezrom, que lhe nasceram, foram Jerameel, e Rão, e Quelubai.
10 And Ram begat ‘Amminadab, and ‘Amminadab begat Nachshon, the prince of the children of Judah;
10 E Rão gerou a Aminadabe, e Aminadabe gerou a Naassom, príncipe dos filhos de Judá;
11 And Nachshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Bo’az,
11 e Naassom gerou a Salma, e Salma gerou a Boaz;
12 And Bo’az begat ‘Obed, and ‘Obed begat Jesse,
12 e Boaz gerou a Obede, e Obede gerou a Jessé;
13 And Ishai begat his first–born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shim’a the third,
13 e Jessé gerou a Eliabe, seu primogênito, e Abinadabe, o segundo, e Simeia, o terceiro,
14 Nathanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
14 a Natanael, o quarto, a Radai, o quinto,
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;
15 a Ozém, o sexto, e a Davi, o sétimo.
16 And their sisters were Zeruyah, and Abigayil. And the sons of Zeruyah: Abshai, and Joab, and ‘Assahel, three.
16 E foram suas irmãs Zeruia e Abigail; e foram os filhos de Zeruia: Abisai, e Joabe, e Asael; ao todo três.
17 And Abigayil bore ‘Amassa: and the father of ‘Amassa was Jether the Ishme’elite.
17 E Abigail teve a Amasa; e o pai de Amasa foi Jéter, o ismaelita.
18 And Caleb the son of Chezron begat children of ‘Azubah his wife, and of Jeri’oth; and these are her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
18 E Calebe, filho de Hezrom, gerou filhos de Azuba, sua mulher, e de Jeriote; e os filhos desta foram estes: Jeser, e Sobabe, e Ardom.
19 And ‘Azubah died, when Caleb took unto himself Ephrath, who bore unto him Chur.
19 E morreu Azuba; e Calebe tomou para si a Efrata, a qual teve a Hur.
20 And Chur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.
20 E Hur gerou a Uri, e Uri gerou a Bezalel.
21 And afterward came Chezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gil’ad, and he took her for wife when he was sixty years old: and she bore unto him Segub.
21 Então, Hezrom entrou à filha de Maquir, pai de Gileade; e, sendo ele de sessenta anos, a tomou; e ela deu à luz a Segube.
22 And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gil’ad.
22 E Segube gerou a Jair; e este tinha vinte e três cidades na terra de Gileade.
23 But Geshur and Aram took the small towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even sixty cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gil’ad.
23 E Gesur e Arã tomaram deles as aldeias de Jair e Quenate, e seus lugares, a saber, sessenta cidades; todos estes foram filhos de Maquir, pai de Gileade.
24 And after Chezron was dead in Calebephratah, then bore Chezron’s wife Abiyah unto him Ashchur the father of Thekoa’.
24 E, depois da morte de Hezrom, em Calebe de Efrata, Abia, mulher de Hezrom, lhe deu a Azur, pai de Tecoa.
25 And the sons of Jerachmeel the first–born of Chezron were, Ram the first–born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Achiyah.
25 E os filhos de Jerameel, primogênito de Hezrom, foram Rão, o primogênito, e Buna, e Orém, e Ozém, e Aías.
26 Yerachmeel had also another wife, whose name was ‘Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
26 Teve também Jerameel ainda outra mulher, cujo nome era Atara; esta foi a mãe de Onã.
27 And the sons of Ram the first–born of Jerachmeel were, Ma’az, and Jamin, and ‘Eker.
27 E foram os filhos de Rão, primogênito de Jerameel: Maaz, e Jamim, e Equer.
28 And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada’. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
28 E foram os filhos de Onã: Samai e Jada; e os filhos de Samai: Nadabe e Abisur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abichayil, and she bore unto him Achban, and Molid.
29 E era o nome da mulher de Abisur Abiail, que lhe deu a Abã e a Molide.
30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appayim; and Seled died without children.
30 E foram os filhos de Nadabe Selede e Apaim; e Selede morreu sem filhos.
31 And the sons of Appayim: Yish’i. And the sons of Yish’i: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Achlai.
31 E o filho de Apaim foi Isi; e o filho de Isi: Sesã. E o filho de Sesã: Alai.
32 And the sons of Jada’ the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
32 E os filhos de Jada, irmão de Samai, foram: Jéter e Jônatas; e Jéter morreu sem filhos.
33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerachmeel.
33 E os filhos de Jônatas foram Pelete e Zaza; estes foram os filhos de Jerameel.
34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarcha’.
34 E Sesã não teve filhos, mas filhas; e tinha Sesã um servo egípcio, cujo nome era Jara.
35 And Sheshan gave his daughter unto Jarcha’ his servant for wife: and she bore unto him ‘Attai.
35 Deu, pois, Sesã sua filha por mulher a Jara, seu servo, e lhe deu a Atai.
36 And ‘Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad.
36 E Atai gerou a Natã, e Natã gerou a Zabade.
37 And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat ‘Obed.
37 E Zabade gerou a Eflal, e Eflal gerou a Obede.
38 And ‘Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat ‘Azaryah,
38 E Obede gerou a Jeú, e Jeú gerou a Azarias.
39 And ‘Azaryah begat Chelez, and Chelez begat El’assah,
39 E Azarias gerou a Heles, e Heles gerou a Eleasa.
40 And El’assah begat Sissmai, and Sissmai begat Shallum.
40 E Eleasa gerou a Sismai, e Sismai gerou a Salum.
41 And Shallum begat Jekamyah, and Jekamyah begat Elishama’.
41 E Salum gerou a Jecamias, e Jecamias gerou a Elisama.
42 Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerachmeel were, Mesha’, his first–born, who was the father of Ziph, and of the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
42 E foi o filho de Calebe, irmão de Jerameel, Messa, seu primogênito (este foi o pai de Zife); e Maressa foi pai de Hebrom.
43 And the sons of Hebron: Korach, and Thappuach, and Rekem, and Shema’.
43 E foram os filhos de Hebrom: Coré, e Tapua, e Requém, e Sema.
44 And Shema’ begat Racham, the father of Jorke’am; and Rekem begat Shammai.
44 E Sema gerou a Raão, pai de Jorqueão; e Requém gerou a Samai.
45 And the son of Shammai was Ma’on; and Ma’on was the father of Beth–zur.
45 E foi o filho de Samai Maom; e Maom foi pai de Bete-Zur.
46 And ‘Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Charan, and Moza, and Gazez; and Charan begat Gazez.
46 E Efá, a concubina de Calebe, teve a Harã, e a Mosa, e a Gazez; e Harã gerou a Gazez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and ‘Ephah, and Sha’aph.
47 E foram os filhos de Jadai: Regém, e Jotão, e Gesã, e Pelete, e Efá, e Saafe.
48 Ma’achah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirchanah.
48 De Maaca, concubina, gerou Calebe a Seber e a Tiraná.
49 She bore also Sha’aph the father of Madmannah. Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gib’a: and the daughter of Caleb was ‘Achsah.
49 E a mulher de Saafe, pai de Madmana, teve a Seva, pai de Macbena e pai de Gibeá; e foi a filha de Calebe Acsa.
50 These were the sons of Caleb: Benchur, the first–born of Ephratah, Shobal the father of Kiryath–ye’arim,
50 Estes foram os filhos de Calebe, filho de Hur, o primogênito de Efrata: Sobal, pai do Quiriate-Jearim,
51 Salma the father of Beth–lechem, Chareph the father of Beth–gader.
51 e Salma, pai dos belemitas, e Harefe, pai de Bete-Gader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kir’yath–ye’arim had sons: Haroeh, and Chazi–hammenuchoth.
52 E foram os filhos de Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim: Haroé e metade dos menuítas.
53 And the families of Kir’yath–ye’arim are the Yithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishra’ites: from these came the Zor’athites, and the Eshthaulites.
53 E as famílias de Quiriate-Jearim foram os itritas, e os puteus, e os sumateus, e os misraeus; destes saíram os zorateus e os estaoleus.
54 The sons of Salma: Beth–lechem, and the Netophathites, ‘Ataroth of the house of Joab, and Chazi–hammanachthi, the Zor’ite.
54 Os filhos de Salma foram Belém, e os netofatitas, e Atarote-Bete-Joabe, e metade dos manatitas, e os zoreus.
55 And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Thirathites, the Shim’athites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came from Chammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
55 E as famílias dos escribas que habitavam em Jabez foram os tiratitas, e os simeatitas, e os sucatitas; estes são os queneus, que vieram de Hamate, pai da casa de Recabe.
