¹ A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,

¹ Salmo ou Canção para o dia do Shabat. Bom é dar graças ao SENHOR, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo.

² To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,

² Para anunciar a tua benignidade de manhã, e a tua fidelidade toda noite.

³ Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.

³ Sobre um instrumento de dez cordas, e sobre o saltério; sobre a harpa com um som solene.

⁴ For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.

⁴ Pois tu, SENHOR, fizeste-me feliz por meio da tua obra; triunfarei nas obras das tuas mãos.

⁵ O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.

⁵ Ó SENHOR, quão grandes são as tuas obras! E os teus pensamentos são mui profundos.

⁶ An vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,

⁶ Um homem brutal não conhece; nem um tolo entende isto.

⁷ (When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.

⁷ Quando os perversos brotam como a grama, e quando todos os trabalhadores da iniquidade florescerem, é que serão destruídos para sempre.

⁸ But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.

⁸ Mas tu, SENHOR, és Altíssimo para sempre.

⁹ For loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.

⁹ Pois eis que os teus inimigos, ó SENHOR, pois eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; todos os trabalhadores da iniquidade serão dispersados.

¹⁰ But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.

¹⁰ Mas o meu chifre tu exaltarás como o chifre de um unicórnio; eu serei ungido com óleo fresco.

¹¹ Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.

¹¹ Meu olho também verá o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos, e os meus ouvidos ouvirão o meu desejo sobre os perversos que se levantam contra mim.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.

¹² O justo florescerá como a palmeira; ele crescerá como o cedro no Líbano.

¹³ Such as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.

¹³ Aqueles que estão plantados na casa do SENHOR florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.

¹⁴ They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,

¹⁴ Eles gerarão frutos na velhice; serão gordos e prósperos.

¹⁵ To declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.

¹⁵ Para mostrarem que o SENHOR é justo; ele é a minha rocha, e não há injustiça nele.
