1 A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,
1 Bom é louvar ao Senhor e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo,
2 To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,
2 para de manhã anunciar a tua benignidade e, todas as noites, a tua fidelidade,
3 Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.
3 sobre um instrumento de dez cordas e sobre o saltério; sobre a harpa com som solene.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.
4 Pois tu, Senhor , me alegraste com os teus feitos; exultarei nas obras das tuas mãos.
5 O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.
5 Quão grandes são, Senhor , as tuas obras! Mui profundos são os teus pensamentos!
6 An vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,
6 O homem brutal nada sabe, e o louco não entende isto.
7 (When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.
7 Brotam os ímpios como a erva, e florescem todos os que praticam a iniquidade, mas para serem destruídos para sempre.
8 But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.
8 Mas tu, Senhor , és o Altíssimo para sempre.
9 For loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.
9 Pois eis que os teus inimigos, Senhor , eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; serão dispersos todos os que praticam a iniquidade.
10 But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.
10 Mas tu exaltarás o meu poder, como o do unicórnio: serei ungido com óleo fresco.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.
11 Os meus olhos verão cumprido o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos, e os meus ouvidos dele se certificarão quanto aos malfeitores que se levantam contra mim.
12 The righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.
12 O justo florescerá como a palmeira; crescerá como o cedro no Líbano.
13 Such as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.
13 Os que estão plantados na Casa do Senhor florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.
14 They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,
14 Na velhice ainda darão frutos; serão viçosos e florescentes,
15 To declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.
15 para anunciarem que o Senhor é reto; ele é a minha rocha, e nele não há injustiça.
