1 A Psalme of David of Praise. O my God and King, I will extold thee, and will blesse thy Name for euer and euer.
1 Eu te exaltarei, meu Deus e Rei, louvarei teu nome para todo o sempre.
2 I will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.
2 Todos os dias te louvarei, sim, louvarei teu nome para sempre.
3 Great is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.
3 Grande é o S enhor ! Ele é digno de muito louvor! É impossível medir sua grandeza.
4 Generation shall praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power.
4 Que cada geração conte a seus filhos sobre tuas obras e proclame teu poder.
5 I wil meditate of the beautie of thy glorious maiestie, and thy wonderfull workes,
5 Meditarei em teu majestoso e glorioso esplendor e em tuas maravilhas.
6 And they shall speake of the power of thy fearefull actes, and I will declare thy greatnes.
6 Todos falarão de teus feitos notáveis, e eu anunciarei tua grandeza.
7 They shall breake out into the mention of thy great goodnes, and shall sing aloude of thy righteousnesse.
7 Todos contarão a história de tua imensa bondade e cantarão de alegria sobre tua justiça.
8 The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great mercie.
8 O S enhor é misericordioso e compassivo, lento para se irar e cheio de amor.
9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are ouer all his workes.
9 O S enhor é bom para todos; derrama misericórdia sobre toda a sua criação.
10 All thy workes prayse thee, O Lord, and thy Saints blesse thee.
10 Todas as tuas obras te darão graças, ó S enhor , e teus fiéis te louvarão.
11 They shewe the glory of thy kingdome, and speake of thy power,
11 Falarão da glória do teu reino e proclamarão o teu poder.
12 To cause his power to be knowen to the sonnes of men, and the glorious renoume of his kingdome.
12 Anunciarão teus feitos poderosos e a majestade e glória do teu reino.
13 Thy kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome, and thy dominion endureth throughout all ages.
13 Pois o teu reino é reino para sempre; tu governas por todas as gerações. O S é bondoso em tudo que faz.
14 The Lord vpholdeth all that fall, and lifteth vp all that are ready to fall.
14 O S enhor ajuda os que caíram e levanta os que estão encurvados sob o peso de suas cargas.
15 The eyes of all waite vpon thee, and thou giuest them their meate in due season.
15 Os olhos de todos estão voltados para ti com esperança; tu lhes provês o alimento conforme necessitam.
16 Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things liuing of thy good pleasure.
16 Quando abres tua mão, satisfazes o anseio de todos os seres vivos.
17 The Lord is righteous in all his wayes, and holy in all his workes.
17 O S enhor é justo em tudo que faz; é cheio de bondade.
18 The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.
18 O S enhor está perto de todos que o invocam, sim, de todos que o invocam com sinceridade.
19 He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them.
19 Ele concede os desejos dos que o temem; ouve seus clamores e os livra.
20 The Lord preserueth all them that loue him: but he will destroy all the wicked.
20 O S enhor protege todos que o amam, mas destrói os perversos.
21 My mouth shall speake the prayse of the Lord, and all flesh shall blesse his holy Name for euer and euer.
21 Louvarei o S enhor , e que todos na terra louvem seu santo nome, para todo o sempre!
