1 ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
1 אAlef Abençoados são os imaculados no caminho, que andam na lei do SENHOR.
2 Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
2 Abençoados são aqueles que guardam os seus testemunhos, e que o buscam com todo o coração.
3 Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
3 Aqueles também que não praticam a iniquidade; eles andam nos seus caminhos.
4 Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
4 Tu nos ordenaste a guardar teus preceitos diligentemente.
5 Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
5 Ó se os meus caminhos fossem dirigidos a guardar os teus estatutos!
6 Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
6 Então não serei envergonhado, quando eu tiver respeito por todos os teus mandamentos.
7 I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
7 Louvar-te-ei com retidão de coração quando tiver aprendido os teus justos juízos.
8 I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
8 Eu guardarei os teus estatutos; Ó não me abandones completamente.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
9 בBet Com que meios purificará um jovem o seu caminho? Prestando atenção nisso, segundo a tua palavra.
10 With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
10 Com todo o meu coração te busquei; Ó, não me deixes desviar dos teus mandamentos.
11 I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
11 Tua palavra eu tenho escondida no meu coração, para eu não pecar contra ti.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
12 Bendito és tu, ó SENHOR; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
13 With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
13 Com os meus lábios declarei todos os juízos da tua boca.
14 I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
14 Regozijei-me pelo caminho dos teus testemunhos, tanto quanto em todas as riquezas.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
15 Eu meditarei nos teus preceitos, e terei respeito aos teus caminhos.
16 I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
16 Deleitar-me-ei nos teus estatutos; não me esquecerei da tua palavra.
17 GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
17 Lida generosamente com o teu servo, para que eu possa viver e guardar a tua palavra.
18 Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
18 Abre tu os meus olhos, para que eu possa contemplar as coisas maravilhosas da tua lei.
19 I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
19 Sou um estrangeiro na terra; não escondas os teus mandamentos de mim.
20 Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
20 A minha alma se quebranta por causa do desejo que ela tem dos teus juízos em todo o tempo.
21 Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
21 Tu repreendeste asperamente os orgulhosos que são amaldiçoados, que se desviam dos teus mandamentos.
22 Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
22 Remove de mim a vergonha e o desprezo, pois guardei os teus testemunhos.
23 Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
23 Príncipes também se assentaram, e falaram contra mim, mas o teu servo meditou nos teus estatutos.
24 Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
24 Teus testemunhos também são o meu deleite e os meus conselheiros.
25 DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
25 A minha alma se abre ao pó; apressa-me tu, segundo a tua palavra.
26 I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
26 Eu declarei os meus caminhos, e tu me ouviste; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
27 Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
27 Faze-me entender o caminho dos teus preceitos; assim falarei das tuas obras maravilhosas.
28 My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
28 A minha alma se derrete por causa da opressão; fortalece-me segundo a tua palavra.
29 Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
29 Remove de mim o caminho da mentira, e concede-me a tua lei graciosamente.
30 I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
30 Escolhi o caminho da verdade; os teus juízos coloquei diante de mim.
31 I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
31 Apeguei-me aos teus testemunhos; ó SENHOR, não me coloques em vergonha.
32 I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
32 Correrei pelo caminho dos teus mandamentos, quando alargares o meu coração.
33 HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
33 Ensina-me, ó SENHOR, o caminho dos teus estatutos, e guardá-lo-ei até o fim.
34 Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
34 Dá-me entendimento, e eu guardarei a tua lei, e observá-la-ei com todo o meu coração.
35 Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
35 Faze-me ir pela vereda dos teus mandamentos, pois nela eu me deleito.
36 Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
36 Inclina o meu coração aos teus testemunhos, e não à cobiça.
37 Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
37 Desvia os meus olhos de contemplarem a vaidade, e apressa-me no teu caminho.
38 Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
38 Estabelece tua palavra ao teu servo, que é devoto ao teu temor.
39 Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
39 Desvia de mim a minha vergonha, a qual eu temo, pois os teus juízos são bons.
40 Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
40 Eis que tenho desejado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me na tua justiça.
41 VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
41 Venham sobre mim também as tuas misericórdias, ó SENHOR, a tua salvação, segundo a tua palavra.
42 So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
42 Assim terei com o que responder àquele que me envergonha, pois eu confio na tua palavra.
43 And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
43 E não tires totalmente a palavra de verdade da minha boca, pois tenho esperado nos teus juízos.
44 So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
44 Assim guardarei a tua lei continuamente para sempre e sempre.
45 And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
45 E andarei em liberdade; pois busco os teus preceitos.
46 I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
46 Eu também falarei dos teus testemunhos perante os reis, e não me envergonharei.
47 And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
47 E deleitar-me-ei em teus mandamentos, que tenho amado.
48 Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
48 Eu também levantarei as minhas mãos para os teus mandamentos, os quais tenho amado, e meditarei nos teus estatutos.
49 ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
49 Lembra-te da palavra ao teu servo, na qual me fizeste ter esperança.
50 It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
50 Este é o meu consolo na minha aflição, pois a tua palavra me vivificou.
51 The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
51 Os orgulhosos me tiveram grandemente em escárnio; contudo eu não declinei da tua lei.
52 I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
52 Lembrei-me dos teus juízos de antigamente, ó SENHOR, e me consolei.
53 Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
53 O horror tomou-me por causa dos perversos que abandonam a tua lei.
54 Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
54 Os teus estatutos têm sido minhas canções na casa da minha peregrinação.
55 I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
55 Lembrei-me do teu nome, ó SENHOR, à noite, e guardei a tua lei.
56 This I had because I kept thy precepts.
56 Isto tive porque guardei os teus preceitos.
57 CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.

58 I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
58 Supliquei o teu favor com todo o meu coração; sê misericordioso para comigo segundo a tua palavra.
59 I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
59 Pensei nos meus caminhos, e voltei os meus pés para os teus testemunhos.
60 I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
60 Apressei-me, e não me atrasei para guardar os teus mandamentos.
61 The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
61 Os bandos dos perversos me roubaram, mas eu não me esqueci da tua lei.
62 At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
62 À meia-noite me levantarei para dar graças a ti por causa dos teus justos juízos.
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
63 Sou companhia de todos aqueles que te temem e daqueles que guardam os teus preceitos.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
64 A terra, ó SENHOR, está cheia da tua misericórdia; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
65 TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
65 Lidaste bem com o teu servo, ó SENHOR, segundo a tua palavra.
66 Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
66 Ensina-me o bom juízo e o conhecimento; pois acreditei nos teus mandamentos.
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
67 Antes de ser afligido eu segui um mau caminho; mas agora tenho guardado a tua palavra.
68 Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
68 Tu és bom e fazes o bem; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
69 The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
69 Os orgulhosos forjaram uma mentira contra mim; mas eu guardarei os teus preceitos com todo o meu coração.
70 Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
70 O seu coração é tão gordo quanto a gordura, mas eu me deleito na tua lei.
71 It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
71 Foi-me bom ter sido afligido, para que eu pudesse aprender os teus estatutos.
72 The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
72 A lei da tua boca é para mim melhor do que milhares de ouro ou prata.
73 IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
73 As tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; dá-me entendimento para que eu possa aprender os teus mandamentos.
74 So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
74 Aqueles que te temem ficarão felizes quando me virem, porque eu esperei na tua palavra.
75 I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
75 Eu sei, ó SENHOR, que os teus juízos são certos, e que tu em fidelidade me afligiste.
76 I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
76 Oro a ti para que a tua misericordiosa bondade seja para o meu consolo, segundo a tua palavra ao teu servo.
77 Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
77 Que as tuas tenras misericórdias venham a mim para que eu possa viver, pois a tua lei é o meu deleite.
78 Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
78 Que os orgulhosos sejam envergonhados, pois lidam perversamente comigo sem causa; mas eu meditarei nos teus preceitos.
79 Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
79 Voltem-se para mim aqueles que te temem, e aqueles que conheceram os teus testemunhos.
80 Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
80 Deixe que o meu coração seja íntegro nos teus estatutos, para que eu não seja envergonhado.
81 CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
81 Minha alma desfalece pela tua salvação, mas espero na tua palavra.
82 Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
82 Meus olhos falham por tua palavra, dizendo: Quando tu me consolarás?
83 For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
83 Pois me tornei como uma garrafa na fumaça; ainda assim, não me esqueço dos teus estatutos.
84 Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
84 Quantos são os dias do teu servo? Quando executarás juízo àqueles que me perseguem?
85 The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
85 Os orgulhosos cavaram covas para mim, as quais não são conforme a tua lei.
86 All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
86 Todos os teus mandamentos são fiéis. Perseguem-me injustamente; socorre-me.
87 They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
87 Eles tinham quase me consumido sobre a terra, mas eu não abandonei os teus preceitos.
88 Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
88 Vivifica-me segundo a tua benignidade; assim guardarei o testemunho da tua boca.
89 LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
89 Para sempre, ó SENHOR, a tua palavra está estabelecida no céu.
90 Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
90 A tua fidelidade é a todas as gerações; tu estabeleceste a terra, e ela permanece.
91 They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
91 Eles continuam hoje, segundo as tuas ordenanças; pois todos são teus servos.
92 Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
92 Se a tua lei não tivesse sido os meus deleites, eu teria perecido em minhas aflições.
93 I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
93 Eu nunca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos; pois com eles tu me vivificaste.
94 I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.

95 The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

96 I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.

97 MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.

98 By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.

99 I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.

101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.

102 I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
102 Não me apartei dos teus juízos, pois tu me ensinaste.
103 Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
103 Quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu gosto! Sim, mais doces do que o mel à minha boca!
104 By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
104 Através dos teus preceitos consigo o entendimento; portanto eu odeio todo falso caminho.
105 NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
105 Tua palavra é uma lâmpada para os meus pés, e luz para o meu caminho.
106 I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
106 Eu jurei, e o cumprirei, que guardarei os teus justos juízos.
107 I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
107 Estou muito aflito; vivifica-me, ó SENHOR, segundo a tua palavra.
108 O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
108 Aceita, eu te imploro, as ofertas voluntárias da minha boca, ó SENHOR; e ensina-me os teus juízos.
109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
109 Minha alma está continuamente em minhas mãos; ainda assim não me esqueço da tua lei.
110 The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
110 Os perversos deitaram um laço para mim; ainda assim, não me desviei dos teus preceitos.
111 Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
111 Os teus testemunhos tomei por herança para sempre, pois eles são o regozijo do meu coração.
112 I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
112 Inclinei o meu coração a executar os teus estatutos sempre, até o fim.
113 SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
113 Odeio os pensamentos vãos, mas eu amo a tua lei.
114 Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
114 Tu és o meu esconderijo e o meu escudo; eu espero na tua palavra.
115 Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
115 Apartai-vos de mim, malfeitores, pois guardarei os mandamentos do meu Deus.
116 Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
116 Sustenta-me segundo a tua palavra, para que eu possa viver, e não me deixes ser envergonhado pela minha esperança.
117 Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
117 Sustenta-me, e estarei a salvo, e terei respeito aos teus estatutos continuamente.
118 Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
118 Tu pisaste a todos aqueles que se desviam dos teus estatutos, pois o seu engano é falsidade.
119 Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
119 Tu puseste de lado todos os perversos da terra como escória, por isso eu amo os teus testemunhos.
120 My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
120 Minha carne treme com temor de ti, e temo os teus juízos.
121 AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.

122 Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
122 Sê fiador do teu servo para o bem; não deixes que os orgulhosos me oprimam.
123 Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
123 Os meus olhos falham pela tua salvação, e pela palavra da tua justiça.
124 Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
124 Faz com teu servo segundo a tua misericórdia, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.
125 I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
125 Eu sou teu servo; dá-me entendimento para que eu possa conhecer os teus testemunhos.
126 It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
126 Este tempo é para ti, SENHOR, para trabalhares; pois eles anularam a tua lei.
127 Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
127 Por isso amo os teus mandamentos acima do ouro; sim, acima do puro ouro.
128 Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
128 Por isso eu estimo todos os teus preceitos acerca de todas as coisas a serem certas, e odeio todo caminho falso.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.

130 The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.

131 I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.

132 Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
132 Olha para mim, e sê misericordioso comigo, como costumas fazer com aqueles que amam o teu nome.
133 Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
133 Ordena os meus passos na tua palavra, e não permita que iniquidade alguma tenha domínio sobre mim.
134 Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
134 Livra-me da opressão do homem; assim guardarei os teus preceitos.
135 Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
135 Faze tua face brilhar sobre o teu servo, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.
136 Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
136 Rios de águas correm dos meus olhos, porque não guardam a tua lei.
137 TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
137 Tu és justo, ó SENHOR, e retos são os teus juízos.
138 Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
138 Os teus testemunhos que comandaste são justos e muito fiéis.
139 My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
139 O meu zelo me consumiu, porque os meus inimigos se esqueceram da tua palavra.
140 Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
140 A tua palavra é muito pura; portanto o teu servo a ama.
141 I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
141 Sou pequeno e desprezado; ainda assim, não me esqueço dos teus mandamentos.
142 Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.
142 A tua justiça é uma justiça eterna, e a tua lei é a verdade.
143 Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.
143 Tribulação e angústia se apoderam de mim; ainda assim, os teus mandamentos são meus deleites.
144 The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
144 A justiça dos teus testemunhos é eterna; dá-me entendimento, e viverei.
145 KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.

147 I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.
147 Antecipei o alvorecer da manhã e clamei; esperei na tua palavra.
148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.

149 Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
149 Ouve a minha voz segundo a tua benignidade; ó SENHOR, vivifica-me de acordo com o teu juízo.
150 They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.

151 Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.

152 I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.

176 I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.
