1 ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
1 Bem-aventurados os retos em seus caminhos, que andam na lei do Senhor.
2 Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
2 Bem-aventurados os que guardam os seus testemunhos, e que o buscam com todo o coração.
3 Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
3 E não praticam iniqüidade, mas andam nos seus caminhos.
4 Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
4 Tu ordenaste os teus mandamentos, para que diligentemente os observássemos.
5 Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
5 Quem dera que os meus caminhos fossem dirigidos a observar os teus mandamentos.
6 Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
6 Então não ficaria confundido, atentando eu para todos os teus mandamentos.
7 I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
7 Louvar-te-ei com retidão de coração quando tiver aprendido os teus justos juízos.
8 I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
8 Observarei os teus estatutos; não me desampares totalmente.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
9 Com que purificará o jovem o seu caminho? Observando-o conforme a tua palavra.
10 With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
10 Com todo o meu coração te busquei; não me deixes desviar dos teus mandamentos.
11 I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
11 Escondi a tua palavra no meu coração, para eu não pecar contra ti.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
12 Bendito és tu, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
13 With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
13 Com os meus lábios declarei todos os juízos da tua boca.
14 I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
14 Folguei tanto no caminho dos teus testemunhos, como em todas as riquezas.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
15 Meditarei nos teus preceitos, e terei respeito aos teus caminhos.
16 I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
16 Recrear-me-ei nos teus estatutos; não me esquecerei da tua palavra.
17 GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
17 Faze bem ao teu servo, para que viva e observe a tua palavra.
18 Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
18 Abre tu os meus olhos, para que veja as maravilhas da tua lei.
19 I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
19 Sou peregrino na terra; não escondas de mim os teus mandamentos.
20 Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
20 A minha alma está quebrantada de desejar os teus juízos em todo o tempo.
21 Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
21 Tu repreendeste asperamente os soberbos que são amaldiçoa-dos, que se desviam dos teus mandamentos.
22 Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
22 Tira de sobre mim o opróbrio e o desprezo, pois guardei os teus testemunhos.
23 Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
23 Príncipes também se assentaram, e falaram contra mim, mas o teu servo meditou nos teus estatutos.
24 Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
24 Também os teus testemunhos são o meu prazer e os meus conselheiros.
25 DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
25 A minha alma está pegada ao pó; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.
26 I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
26 Eu te contei os meus caminhos, e tu me ouviste; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
27 Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
27 Faze-me entender o caminho dos teus preceitos; assim falarei das tuas maravilhas.
28 My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
28 A minha alma consome-se de tristeza; fortalece-me segundo a tua palavra.
29 Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
29 Desvia de mim o caminho da falsidade, e concede-me piedosamente a tua lei.
30 I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
30 Escolhi o caminho da verdade; propus-me seguir os teus juízos.
31 I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
31 Apego-me aos teus testemunhos; ó Senhor, não me confundas.
32 I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
32 Correrei pelo caminho dos teus mandamentos, quando dilatares o meu coração.
33 HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
33 Ensina-me, ó Senhor, o caminho dos teus estatutos, e guardá-lo-ei até o fim.
34 Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
34 Dá-me entendimento, e guardarei a tua lei, e observá-la-ei de todo o meu coração.
35 Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
35 Faze-me andar na vereda dos teus mandamentos, porque nela tenho prazer.
36 Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
36 Inclina o meu coração aos teus testemunhos, e não à cobiça.
37 Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
37 Desvia os meus olhos de contemplarem a vaidade, e vivifica-me no teu caminho.
38 Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
38 Confirma a tua palavra ao teu servo, que é dedicado ao teu temor.
39 Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
39 Desvia de mim o opróbrio que temo, pois os teus juízos são bons.
40 Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
40 Eis que tenho desejado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me na tua justiça.
41 VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
41 Venham sobre mim também as tuas misericórdias, ó Senhor, e a tua salvação segundo a tua palavra.
42 So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
42 Assim terei que responder ao que me afronta, pois confio na tua palavra.
43 And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
43 E não tires totalmente a palavra de verdade da minha boca, pois tenho esperado nos teus juízos.
44 So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
44 Assim observarei de contínuo a tua lei para sempre e eternamente.
45 And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
45 E andarei em liberdade; pois busco os teus preceitos.
46 I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
46 Também falarei dos teus testemunhos perante os reis, e não me envergonharei.
47 And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
47 E recrear-me-ei em teus mandamentos, que tenho amado.
48 Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
48 Também levantarei as minhas mãos para os teus mandamentos, que amei, e meditarei nos teus estatutos.
49 ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
49 Lembra-te da palavra dada ao teu servo, na qual me fizeste esperar.
50 It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
50 Isto é a minha consolação na minha aflição, porque a tua palavra me vivificou.
51 The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
51 Os soberbos zombaram grandemente de mim; contudo não me desviei da tua lei.
52 I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
52 Lembrei-me dos teus juízos antiqüíssimos, ó Senhor, e assim me consolei.
53 Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
53 Grande indignação se apoderou de mim por causa dos ímpios que abandonam a tua lei.
54 Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
54 Os teus estatutos têm sido os meus cânticos na casa da minha peregrinação.
55 I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
55 Lembrei-me do teu nome, ó Senhor, de noite, e observei a tua lei.
56 This I had because I kept thy precepts.
56 Isto fiz eu, porque guardei os teus mandamentos.
57 CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
57 O Senhor é a minha porção; eu disse que observaria as tuas palavras.
58 I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
58 Roguei deveras o teu favor com todo o meu coração; tem piedade de mim, segundo a tua palavra.
59 I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
59 Considerei os meus caminhos, e voltei os meus pés para os teus testemunhos.
60 I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
60 Apressei-me, e não me detive, a observar os teus mandamentos.
61 The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
61 Bandos de ímpios me despojaram, mas eu não me esqueci da tua lei.
62 At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
62 À meia-noite me levantarei para te louvar, pelos teus justos juízos.
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
63 Companheiro sou de todos os que te temem e dos que guardam os teus preceitos.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
64 A terra, ó Senhor, está cheia da tua benignidade; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
65 TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
65 Fizeste bem ao teu servo, Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.
66 Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
66 Ensina-me bom juízo e ciência, pois cri nos teus mandamentos.
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
67 Antes de ser afligido andava errado; mas agora tenho guardado a tua palavra.
68 Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
68 Tu és bom e fazes bem; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
69 The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
69 Os soberbos forjaram mentiras contra mim; mas eu com todo o meu coração guardarei os teus preceitos.
70 Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
70 Engrossa-se-lhes o coração como gordura, mas eu me recreio na tua lei.
71 It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
71 Foi-me bom ter sido afligido, para que aprendesse os teus estatutos.
72 The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
72 Melhor é para mim a lei da tua boca do que milhares de ouro ou prata.
73 IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
73 As tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; dá-me inteligência para entender os teus mandamentos.
74 So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
74 Os que te temem alegraram-se quando me viram, porque tenho esperado na tua palavra.
75 I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
75 Bem sei eu, ó Senhor, que os teus juízos são justos, e que segundo a tua fidelidade me afligiste.
76 I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
76 Sirva pois a tua benignidade para me consolar, segundo a palavra que deste ao teu servo.
77 Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
77 Venham sobre mim as tuas misericórdias, para que viva, pois a tua lei é a minha delícia.
78 Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
78 Confundam-se os soberbos, pois me trataram duma maneira perversa, sem causa; mas eu meditarei nos teus preceitos.
79 Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
79 Voltem-se para mim os que te temem, e aqueles que têm conhecido os teus testemunhos.
80 Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
80 Seja reto o meu coração nos teus estatutos, para que não seja confundido.
81 CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
81 Desfalece a minha alma pela tua salvação, mas espero na tua palavra.
82 Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
82 Os meus olhos desfalecem pela tua palavra; entrementes dizia: Quando me consolarás tu?
83 For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
83 Pois estou como odre na fumaça; contudo não me esqueço dos teus estatutos.
84 Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
84 Quantos serão os dias do teu servo? Quando me farás justiça contra os que me perseguem?
85 The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
85 Os soberbos me cavaram covas, o que não é conforme a tua lei.
86 All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
86 Todos os teus mandamentos são verdade. Com mentiras me perseguem; ajuda-me.
87 They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
87 Quase que me têm consumido sobre a terra, mas eu não deixei os teus preceitos.
88 Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
88 Vivifica-me segundo a tua benignidade; assim guardarei o testemunho da tua boca.
89 LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
89 Para sempre, ó Senhor, a tua palavra permanece no céu.
90 Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
90 A tua fidelidade dura de geração em geração; tu firmaste a terra, e ela permanece firme.
91 They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
91 Eles continuam até ao dia de hoje, segundo as tuas ordenações; porque todos são teus servos.
92 Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
92 Se a tua lei não fora toda a minha recreação, há muito que pereceria na minha aflição.
93 I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
93 Nunca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos; pois por eles me tens vivificado.
94 I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
94 Sou teu, salva-me; pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos.
95 The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
95 Os ímpios me esperam para me destruírem, mas eu considerarei os teus testemunhos.
96 I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
96 Tenho visto fim a toda a perfeição, mas o teu mandamento é amplíssimo.
97 MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
97 Oh! quanto amo a tua lei! É a minha meditação em todo o dia.
98 By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
98 Tu, pelos teus mandamentos, me fazes mais sábio do que os meus inimigos; pois estão sempre comigo.
99 I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
99 Tenho mais entendimento do que todos os meus mestres, porque os teus testemunhos são a minha meditação.
100 I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
100 Entendo mais do que os antigos; porque guardo os teus preceitos.
101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.

102 I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
102 Não me apartei dos teus juízos, pois tu me ensinaste.
103 Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
103 Oh! quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu paladar, mais doces do que o mel à minha boca.
104 By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
104 Pelos teus mandamentos alcancei entendimento; por isso odeio todo falso caminho.
105 NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
105 Lâmpada para os meus pés é tua palavra, e luz para o meu caminho.
106 I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
106 Jurei, e o cumprirei, que guardarei os teus justos juízos.
107 I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
107 Estou aflitíssimo; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.
108 O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
108 Aceita, eu te rogo, as oferendas voluntárias da minha boca, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus juízos.
109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
109 A minha alma está de contínuo nas minhas mãos; todavia não me esqueço da tua lei.
110 The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
110 Os ímpios me armaram laço; contudo não me desviei dos teus preceitos.
111 Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
111 Os teus testemunhos tenho eu tomado por herança para sempre, pois são o gozo do meu coração.
112 I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
112 Inclinei o meu coração a guardar os teus estatutos, para sempre, até ao fim.
113 SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
113 Odeio os pensamentos vãos, mas amo a tua lei.
114 Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
114 Tu és o meu refúgio e o meu escudo; espero na tua palavra.
115 Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
115 Apartai-vos de mim, malfeitores, pois guardarei os mandamentos do meu Deus.
116 Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
116 Sustenta-me conforme a tua palavra, para que viva, e não me deixes envergonhado da minha esperança.
117 Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
117 Sustenta-me, e serei salvo, e de contínuo terei respeito aos teus estatutos.
118 Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
118 Tu tens pisado aos pés todos os que se desviam dos teus estatutos, pois o engano deles é falsidade.
119 Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
119 Tu tiraste da terra todos os ímpios, como a escória, por isso amo os teus testemunhos.
120 My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
120 O meu corpo se arrepiou com temor de ti, e temi os teus juízos.
121 AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
121 Fiz juízo e justiça; não me entregues aos meus opressores.
122 Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
122 Fica por fiador do teu servo para o bem; não deixes que os soberbos me oprimam.
123 Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
123 Os meus olhos desfaleceram pela tua salvação e pela promessa da tua justiça.
124 Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
124 Usa com o teu servo segundo a tua benignidade, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.
125 I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
125 Sou teu servo; dá-me inteligência, para entender os teus testemunhos.
126 It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
126 Já é tempo de operares, ó Senhor, pois eles têm quebrantado a tua lei.
127 Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
127 Por isso amo os teus mandamentos mais do que o ouro, e ainda mais do que o ouro fino.
128 Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
128 Por isso estimo todos os teus preceitos acerca de tudo, como retos, e odeio toda falsa vereda.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
129 Maravilhosos são os teus testemunhos; portanto, a minha alma os guarda.
130 The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.

131 I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.

132 Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
132 Olha para mim, e tem piedade de mim, conforme usas com os que amam o teu nome.
133 Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
133 Ordena os meus passos na tua palavra, e não se apodere de mim iniqüidade alguma.
134 Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
134 Livra-me da opressão do homem; assim guardarei os teus preceitos.
135 Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
135 Faze resplandecer o teu rosto sobre o teu servo, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.
136 Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
136 Rios de águas correm dos meus olhos, porque não guardam a tua lei.
137 TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
137 Justo és, ó Senhor, e retos são os teus juízos.
138 Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
138 Os teus testemunhos que ordenaste são retos e muito fiéis.
139 My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
139 O meu zelo me consumiu, porque os meus inimigos se esqueceram da tua palavra.
140 Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
140 A tua palavra é muito pura; portanto, o teu servo a ama.
141 I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
141 Pequeno sou e desprezado, porém não me esqueço dos teus mandamentos.
142 Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.

143 Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.

144 The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.

147 I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.

148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
148 Os meus olhos anteciparam as vigílias da noite, para meditar na tua palavra.
149 Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
149 Ouve a minha voz, segundo a tua benignidade; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo o teu juízo.
150 They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.
150 Aproximam-se os que se dão a maus tratos; afastam-se da tua lei.
151 Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.
151 Tu estás perto, ó Senhor, e todos os teus mandamentos são a verdade.
152 I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
152 Acerca dos teus testemunhos soube, desde a antiguidade, que tu os fundaste para sempre.
