1 This is the story of Adam's family. When God made people, he made them to be like himself.

2 He made them to be a man and a woman, and he blessed them. That means that he was good to them, he made them strong and he called them humans

3 Adam was alive for 130 years and then he had a son that he named Seth. When Seth was born, he was just like Adam and looked like him too.

4 Adam lived for another 800 years after Seth was born and Adam had more sons and daughters.
4 E os dias de Adão, depois de ter gerado Sete foram oitocentos anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
5 Adam died when he was 930 years old.
5 E todos os dias que Adão viveu foram novecentos e trinta anos, e morreu.
6 When Seth was 105 years old he had a son named Enosh.

7 Seth lived for another 807 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

19 Jared lived for another 800 years, and he had more sons and daughters.

20 Jared died when he was 962 years old.

21 When Enock was 65 years old he had a son named Methu-selah.

22 Enock lived for another 300 years after Methu-selah was born, and he had more sons and daughters.

25 When Methu-selah was 187 years old he had a son named Larmek.
25 E Matusalém viveu cento e oitenta e sete anos, e gerou Lameque.
26 Methu-selah lived for another 782 years, and he had more sons and daughters.
26 E Matusalém viveu, depois que gerou Lameque, setecentos e oitenta e dois anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
27 Methu-selah died when he was 969 years old.
27 E todos os dias de Matusalém foram novecentos e sessenta e nove anos, e morreu.
28 When Larmek was 182 years old he had a son.
28 E Lameque viveu cento e oitenta e dois anos, e gerou um filho.
29 Larmek named his son Noah. Larmek said, “The Lord has cursed the ground, and that is why we have to work really hard to get our food. But I will call my son Noah. He will make us feel better.”
29 E ele chamou seu nome Noé, dizendo: Este deve confortar-nos com respeito ao nosso trabalho e ao labor das nossas mãos, por causa da terra que o SENHOR amaldiçoou.
30 Then Larmek lived for another 595 years and he had more sons and daughters.

31 Larmek died when he was 777 years old.
31 E todos os dias de Lameque foram setecentos e setenta e sete anos, e morreu.
