¹ The fyue and nyntithe salm hath no title. Singe ye a newe song to the Lord; al erthe, synge ye to the Lord.

¹ Vinde, cantemos ao SENHOR; jubilemos à rocha da nossa salvação.

² Synge ye to the Lord, and blesse ye his name; telle ye his heelthe fro dai in to dai.

² Apresentemo-nos ante a sua face com louvores, e celebremo-lo com salmos.

³ Telle ye his glorie among hethene men; hise merueilis among alle puplis.

³ Porque o Senhor é Deus grande, e Rei grande sobre todos os deuses.

⁴ For the Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; he is ferdful aboue alle goddis.

⁴ Nas suas mãos estão as profundezas da terra, e as alturas dos montes são suas.

⁵ For alle the goddis of hethene men ben feendis; but the Lord made heuenes.

⁵ Seu é o mar, e ele o fez, e as suas mãos formaram a terra seca.

⁶ Knouleching and fairnesse is in his siyt; hoolynesse and worthi doyng is in his halewing.

⁶ Ó, vinde, adoremos e prostremo-nos; ajoelhemos diante do Senhor que nos criou.

⁷ Ye cuntrees of hethene men, brynge to the Lord, bringe ye glorye and onour to the Lord;

⁷ Porque ele é o nosso Deus, e nós povo do seu pasto e ovelhas da sua mão. Se hoje ouvirdes a sua voz,

⁸ bringe ye to the Lord glorie to hys name. Take ye sacrificis, and entre ye in to the hallis of hym;

⁸ Não endureçais os vossos corações, assim como na provocação e como no dia da tentação no deserto;

⁹ herie ye the Lord in his hooli halle. Al erthe be moued of his face;

⁹ Quando vossos pais me tentaram, me provaram, e viram a minha obra.

¹⁰ seie ye among hethene men, that the Lord hath regned. And he hath amendid the world, that schal not be moued; he schal deme puplis in equite.

¹⁰ Quarenta anos estive desgostado com esta geração, e disse: É um povo que erra de coração, e não tem conhecido os meus caminhos.
