1 Oh give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever.
1 Rendei graças ao Senhor , porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
2 Let Israel now say, That his loving-kindness [endures] forever.
2 Diga, pois, Israel: Sim, a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, That his loving-kindness [endures] forever.
3 Diga, pois, a casa de Arão: Sim, a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
4 Let them now that fear Yahweh say, That his loving-kindness [endures] forever.
4 Digam, pois, os que temem ao Senhor : Sim, a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
5 Out of my distress I called on Yah: Yah answered me [and set me] in a large place.
5 Em meio à tribulação, invoquei o Senhor , e o
6 Yahweh is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do to me?
6 O Senhor está comigo; não temerei. Que me poderá fazer o homem?
7 Yahweh is on my side among those who help me: Therefore I will see [my desire] on those who hate me.
7 O Senhor está comigo entre os que me ajudam; por isso, verei cumprido o meu desejo nos que me odeiam.
8 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh Than to put confidence in man.
8 Melhor é buscar refúgio no Senhor do que confiar no homem.
9 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh Than to put confidence in princes.
9 Melhor é buscar refúgio no Senhor do que confiar em príncipes.
10 All nations surrounded me: In the name of Yahweh I will cut them off.
10 Todas as nações me cercaram, mas em nome do
11 They surrounded me; yes, they surrounded me: In the name of Yahweh I will cut them off.
11 Cercaram-me, cercaram-me de todos os lados; mas em nome do
12 They surrounded me like bees; They are quenched as the fire of thorns: In the name of Yahweh I will cut them off.
12 Como abelhas me cercaram, porém como fogo em espinhos foram queimadas; em nome do
13 You thrusted intensely at me that I might fall; But Yahweh helped me.
13 Empurraram-me violentamente para me fazer cair, porém o
14 Yah is my strength and song; And he has become my salvation.
14 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu cântico, porque ele me salvou.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.
15 Nas tendas dos justos há voz de júbilo e de salvação; a destra do
16 The right hand of Yahweh is exalted: The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.
16 A destra do Senhor se eleva, a destra do
17 I will not die, but live, And declare the works of Yah.
17 Não morrerei; antes, viverei e contarei as obras do
18 Yah has chastened me intensely; But he has not given me over to death.
18 O Senhor me castigou severamente, mas não me entregou à morte.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks to Yah.
19 Abri-me as portas da justiça; entrarei por elas e renderei graças ao
20 This is the gate of Yahweh; The righteous will enter into it.
20 Esta é a porta do Senhor ; por ela entrarão os justos.
21 I will give thanks to you; for you have answered me, And have become my salvation.
21 Render-te-ei graças porque me acudiste e foste a minha salvação.
22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the head of the corner.
22 A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram, essa veio a ser a principal pedra, angular;
23 This is Yahweh's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.
23 isto procede do Senhor e é maravilhoso aos nossos olhos.
24 This is the day which Yahweh has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
24 Este é o dia que o Senhor fez; regozijemo-nos e alegremo-nos nele.
25 Save now, we urge you, O Yahweh: O Yahweh, we urge you, send now prosperity.
25 Oh! Salva-nos, Senhor , nós te pedimos; oh!
26 Blessed be he who comes in the name of Yahweh: We have blessed you{+} out of the house of Yahweh.
26 Bendito o que vem em nome do Senhor . A vós outros da Casa do
27 Yahweh is God, and he has given us light: Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.
27 O Senhor é Deus, ele é a nossa luz; adornai a festa com ramos até às pontas do altar.
28 You are my God, and I will give thanks to you: You are my God, I will exalt you.
28 Tu és o meu Deus, render-te-ei graças; tu és o meu Deus, quero exaltar-te.
29 Oh give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever.
29 Rendei graças ao Senhor , porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
