1 A Psalm of David. Do not inflame yourself with evildoers; and do not be envious against workers of perversity;
1 Não se aborreça por causa dos maus, nem tenha inveja dos que praticam o mal.
2 for they soon wither like grass and fade like the green herb.
2 Pois eles vão desaparecer logo como a erva, que seca; eles morrerão como as plantas, que murcham.
3 Trust in Jehovah and do good; live in the land and feed on faithfulness.
3 Confie em Deus, o Senhor , e faça o bem e assim more com toda a segurança na
4 And delight yourself in Jehovah, that He may give you your heart's desire.
4 Que a sua felicidade esteja no Ele lhe dará o que o seu coração deseja.
5 Roll your way on Jehovah, and trust in Him; and He will work.
5 Ponha a sua vida nas mãos do confie nele, e ele o ajudará.
6 And He will bring forth your righteousness like the light; and your judgment like the noon day.
6 Ele fará com que a sua honestidade seja como a luz e com que a justiça da sua causa brilhe como o sol do meio-dia.
7 Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for Him; inflame not yourself with him who prospers in his way, with the man practicing evil wiles.
7 Não se irrite por causa dos que vencem na vida, nem tenha inveja dos que conseguem realizar os seus planos de maldade. Tenha paciência, pois o
8 Abstain from anger and cease from fury; also do not inflame yourself to do evil.
8 Não fique com raiva, não fique furioso. Não se aborreça, pois isso será pior para você.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off; and the ones waiting on Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.
9 Aqueles que confiam em Deus, o Senhor , viverão em segurança na Terra Prometida, porém os maus serão destruídos.
10 It is but a little, and the wicked shall not be; yes, you shall search his place, and he is not.
10 Dentro de pouco tempo, os maus desaparecerão; você poderá procurá-los, porém não os encontrará.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and they shall delight themselves in abundant peace.
11 Mas os humildes viverão em segurança na Terra Prometida e terão alegria, prosperidade e paz.
12 The wicked plots against the righteous, and gnashes on him with his teeth;
12 Os maus fazem planos contra os bons e olham com ódio para eles.
13 the Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.
13 O Senhor ri dos maus porque sabe que o dia deles está chegando.
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword and they have trodden their bow, to cause the poor and needy to fall; to kill those who walk uprightly.
14 Os maus puxam da espada e curvam os seus arcos para matar os pobres e os necessitados e para assassinarem os que são honestos.
15 Their sword shall enter into their heart, and their bows shall be broken.
15 Mas os maus serão mortos pelas suas próprias espadas, e os seus arcos serão quebrados.
16 A little to the righteous is better than the abundance of many wicked.
16 É melhor o pouco que os bons têm do que as riquezas de muitos maus.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but Jehovah upholds the righteous.
17 Pois o poder dos maus acabará, mas o
18 Jehovah knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever.
18 Todos os dias o Senhor cuida dos que são corretos; a Terra Prometida será deles para sempre.
19 They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and they shall be full in days of famine.
19 Quando os tempos forem difíceis, eles não sofrerão e terão o que comer em tempos de fome.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be like the beauty of pastures; they are consumed like smoke; they are consumed.
20 Porém os maus morrerão; os inimigos de Deus, o desaparecerão como as flores do campo, sumirão como a fumaça.
21 The wicked borrows and never repays, but the righteous is gracious and giving.
21 Os maus pedem emprestado e não pagam, mas os bons são generosos em dar.
22 For His blessed ones inherit the earth, and those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
22 Aqueles que são abençoados por Deus viverão em segurança na Terra Prometida, mas os que ele amaldiçoa serão destruídos.
23 The steps of a man are ordered from Jehovah, and He will delight in his way.
23 O Senhor nos guia no caminho em que devemos andar e protege aqueles cuja vida é agradável a ele.
24 Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah upholds his hand.
24 Se eles caírem, não ficarão caídos porque o a se levantarem.
25 I have been young and am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging bread.
25 Fui moço e agora sou velho, mas nunca vi um homem bom abandonado por Deus e nunca vi os seus filhos mendigando comida.
26 All the day long he is gracious and lends, and his seed is for a blessing.
26 Ele sempre é generoso em dar e emprestar, e os seus filhos são uma bênção.
27 Depart from evil and do good, and live forevermore.
27 Afaste-se do mal e faça o bem, e você sempre morará na Terra Prometida.
28 For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever; but the wicked's seed shall be cut off.
28 Pois o Senhor ama aquilo que é direito e certo e não abandona os seus Ele sempre protege o seu povo, mas os descendentes dos maus serão destruídos.
29 The righteous shall inherit the earth and live on it forever.
29 Os bons possuirão a Terra Prometida e sempre morarão nela.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue speaks judgment.
30 Eles dizem coisas sábias e sempre falam o que é direito e certo.
31 The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slide.
31 Guardam no coração a e nunca se afastam dela.
32 The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him.
32 Os maus espiam os bons e procuram matá-los.
33 Jehovah does not leave him in his hand, nor allow him to be found guilty in his judgment.
33 Porém o Senhor Deus não abandonará os bons nas mãos do inimigo; e, quando forem julgados, não deixará que sejam condenados.
34 Wait on Jehovah and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the earth; you shall see when the wicked are cut off.
34 Ponham a sua esperança no e obedeçam aos seus mandamentos. Ele lhes dará a honra de possuírem a Terra Prometida, e vocês verão os maus serem destruídos.
35 I have seen the wicked ruthless, even spreading himself out like a luxuriant, native tree ;
35 Vi um homem mau, um dominador cruel, que era grandioso como um cedro dos montes Líbanos.
36 yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not; and I looked for him, but he could not be found.
36 Porém um dia passei por ali, e ele já havia desaparecido; eu o procurei, porém não pude encontrá-lo.
37 Watch the perfect and behold the upright one; for the end of that man is peace.
37 Preste atenção nos bons, e observe os honestos, e você verá que as pessoas que amam a paz deixam descendentes.
38 But the transgressors are destroyed together; the end of the wicked is cut off.
38 Mas os que desobedecem às leis de Deus serão completamente destruídos, e os seus descendentes desaparecerão.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is from Jehovah; He is their strength in the time of distress.
39 O Senhor Deus salva do perigo os que são bons e os protege em tempos de aflição.
40 And Jehovah helps them and delivers them; He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them, because they trust in Him.
40 O Senhor os ajuda e livra; e, porque eles procuram a sua proteção, ele os salva dos maus.
