Mateus 22
LITV: Green's Literal Translation (SM_LITV) vs VC
1 And answering, Jesus again spoke to them in parables, saying:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man, a king, who made a wedding feast for his son.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 And he sent his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, but they did not desire to come.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent other slaves, saying, Tell the ones invited, Behold, I have prepared my supper; my oxen, and the fatlings are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 But not caring they went away, one to his own field, and one to his trading.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 And the rest, seizing his slaves, insulted and killed them .
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 And hearing, the king became angry. And sending his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Then he said to his slaves, Indeed, the wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Then go onto the exits of the highways and call to the wedding feast as many as you may find.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 And going out into the highways, those slaves gathered all, as many as they found, both evil and good. And the wedding feast was filled with reclining guests.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 And the king coming in to look over those reclining, he saw a man there not having been dressed in a wedding garment.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here, not having a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Then the king said to the servants, Binding his feet and hands, take him away and throw him out into the outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few chosen.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Then going, the Pharisees took counsel so as they might trap Him in words.

16 And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and it does not concern you about anyone, for you do not look to the face of men.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Then tell us, what do you think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 But knowing their wickedness, Jesus said, Why do you test Me, hypocrites?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Show Me the tribute coin. And they brought a denarius to Him.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 And He said to them, Whose image and inscription is this?
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 They said to Him, Caesar's. Then He said to them, Then give to Caesar the things of Caesar, and to God the things of God.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 And hearing, they marveled. And leaving Him, they went away.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 On that day, Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him. And they questioned Him,
23 — ausente —
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any should die not having children, his brother shall marry his wife, and shall raise up seed to his brother. Deut. 25:5
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 And seven brothers were with us. And having married, the first expired, and not having seed left his wife to his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 In the same way also the second, and the third, until the seven.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 And last of all, the woman also died.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Then in the resurrection, of which of the seven will she be wife? For all had her.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 And answering, Jesus said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are as the angels of God in Heaven.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that spoken to you by God, saying:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?" God is not God of the dead, but of the living. Ex. 3:6
33 And hearing, the crowds were astonished at His doctrine.
34 But hearing that He had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees were gathered together.
35 And one of them, a lawyer, questioned Him , testing Him, and saying,
36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 And Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." Deut. 6:5
38 This is the first and great commandment.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Lev. 19:18
40 On these two commandments all the Law and the Prophets hang.
41 But the Pharisees having been gathered, Jesus questioned them,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 saying, What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He? They say to Him, David's.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 He said to them, Then how does David in Spirit call Him Lord, saying,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on My right until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet?" LXX-Psa. 109:1; MT-Psa. 110:1
45 Then if David calls Him Lord, how is He his son?
46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day to question Him any more.
