1 Save me, O God, because waters have come up to my neck.
1 Ao Músico-chefe, sobre Sosanim, Salmo de Davi. Salva-me, ó Deus, pois as águas entraram até a minha alma.
2 I sink in the mud of the deep, and there is no foothold. I have come to watery depths, and the torrent floods over me.
2 Eu afundo em profundo lamaçal, onde não há como ficar em pé; estou em águas profundas, onde as inundações me transbordam.
3 I am weary with my calling out; my throat is parched. My eyes are exhausted in my waiting for my God.
3 Estou cansado do meu choro, minha garganta está seca, os meus olhos falham enquanto espero por meu Deus.
4 More numerous than the hairs of my head are those hating me without a cause. Those who are destroying me—my enemies wrongfully— are mighty. What I did not steal, I then must restore.
4 Aqueles que me odeiam sem causa são mais do que os cabelos da minha cabeça; aqueles que querem me destruir, sendo meus inimigos injustamente, são poderosos; então restituí aquilo que eu não tomei.
5 O God, ⌞you yourself know⌟ my foolishness, and my guilty deeds are not hidden from you.
5 Ó Deus, tu conheces a minha tolice, e os meus pecados não se escondem de ti.
6 Let those who wait for you not be put to shame because of me, O Lord Yahweh of hosts. Let those who seek you not be disgraced because of me, O God of Israel.
6 Não sejam envergonhados por minha causa aqueles que esperam em ti, ó Senhor DEUS dos Exércitos; não deixeis confundidos por minha causa aqueles que te buscam, ó Deus de Israel.
7 Because on account of you I have borne reproach; disgrace has covered my face.
7 Porque, por tua causa eu suportei a censura; a vergonha cobriu a minha face.
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers and a foreigner to my mother’s sons,
8 Eu me tornei um estranho para os meus irmãos, e um estrangeiro aos filhos da minha mãe.
9 because the zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those reproaching you have fallen on me.
9 Pois o zelo da tua casa me comeu; e as vergonhas daqueles que te envergonharam recaem sobre mim.
10 When I wept in the fasting of my soul, it became reproaches for me.
10 Quando eu chorei, e castiguei minha alma com jejum, aquilo foi para a minha vergonha.
11 When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became for them a byword.
11 Também fiz do pano de saco a minha vestimenta, e me tornei um provérbio para eles.
12 Those sitting at the gate talk about me as also the songs of the drunkards.
12 Aqueles que se assentam ao portão falam contra mim, e eu fui a canção dos bêbados.
13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Yahweh, for a favorable time, O God, according to the abundance of your loyal love. Answer me with the faithfulness of your salvation.
13 Mas quanto a mim, minha oração é a ti, ó SENHOR, em um tempo aceitável; Ó Deus, na multidão da tua misericórdia, ouve-me, na verdade da tua salvação.
14 Deliver me from the mud and do not let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me and from the watery depths.
14 Liberta-me do lamaçal, e não me deixes afundar; seja eu liberto daqueles que me odeiam, e tirado das águas profundas.
15 Do not let the torrent of waters flood over me, or the deep swallow me, or the pit close its mouth over me.
15 Não deixes a enchente das águas me transbordar, nem deixes que o profundo me engula, e não deixes que a cova feche sua boca sobre mim.
16 Answer me, O Yahweh, because your loyal love is good; according to your abundant mercies, turn to me,
16 Ouve-me, ó SENHOR, pois tua benignidade é boa; volta-te para mim, segundo a multidão das tuas tenras misericórdias.
17 and do not hide your face from your servant. Because I am in trouble, answer me quickly.
17 E não escondas a tua face do teu servo, pois eu estou com problemas; ouve-me rapidamente.
18 Draw near to my soul; redeem it. Because of my enemies, ransom me.
18 Aproxima-te da minha alma, e resgata-a; livra-me por causa dos meus inimigos.
19 You know my reproach, my shame and my disgrace. ⌞Fully known⌟ to you are all my adversaries.
19 Tu conheceste a minha reprovação, e a minha vergonha, e a minha desonra; meus adversários estão todos diante de ti.
20 Reproach has broken my heart and I am sick. And I hoped for sympathy, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none.
20 A vergonha quebrou o meu coração, e estou oprimido, e procurei por alguém que tivesse pena, mas não houve ninguém; e por consoladores, mas não encontrei nenhum.
21 They also gave me gall for food, and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
21 Eles também me deram fel para o meu alimento, e em minha sede me deram vinagre para beber.
22 Let their table before them be a trap, and their times of peace a snare.
22 Que a sua mesa se torne um laço diante deles, e que aquilo que deveria ser para o seu bem-estar, que isso vire uma armadilha.
23 Let their eyes be dark so they cannot see, and make their loins continually tremble.
23 Deixai escurecer os seus olhos, para que eles não vejam; e faça com que os seus lombos tremam continuamente.
24 Pour out your indignation on them, and let your burning anger overtake them.
24 Derrama a tua indignação sobre eles, e que a tua ira colérica tome conta deles.
25 Let their camp be desolate. Let none dwell in their tents,
25 Seja a sua habitação desolada, e que ninguém habite em suas tendas.
26 because they persecute those whom you, yourself, have struck, and they tell of the pain of those you have wounded.
26 Pois eles perseguem aquele a quem tu feriste, e falam para a dor daqueles a quem tu tens ferido.
27 ⌞Add guilt on top of their guilt⌟, and do not let them ⌞be acquitted⌟.
27 Adiciona iniquidade à iniquidade deles, e não deixeis eles entrarem na tua justiça.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and let them not be recorded with the righteous.
28 Sejam eles apagados do livro dos vivos, e não sejam escritos com os justos.
29 But as for me, though I am afflicted and pained, your salvation will protect me, O God.
29 Mas eu sou pobre e estou triste; que a tua salvação, ó Deus, me estabeleça no alto.
30 I will praise the name of God in song, and magnify him with thanksgiving.
30 Eu louvarei o nome de Deus com uma canção, e o magnificarei com ações de graças.
31 For Yahweh it will be better than an ox or bull, horned and hoofed.
31 Isto também agradará ao SENHOR mais do que um boi ou um boi que tem chifres e cascos.
32 The afflicted will see and rejoice. O God seekers, let your heart revive,
32 Os humildes verão isto, e se alegrarão, e o vosso coração viverá, por buscardes a Deus.
33 because Yahweh hears the needy and does not despise his own who are prisoners.
33 Pois o SENHOR ouve os pobres, e não despreza os seus prisioneiros.
34 Let heavens and earth praise him, the seas and all that moves in them,
34 Louvem o céu e a terra, os mares, e cada coisa que se move neles.
35 because God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, that they may dwell there and possess it.
35 Pois Deus salvará a Sião, e construirá as cidades de Judá, para que eles possam habitar lá, e tê-la por posse.
36 And the offspring of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will abide in it.
36 Também herdará a semente dos seus servos, e aqueles que amam o seu nome habitarão lá.
