1 A Psalm of David.
1 Salmo de Davi. A ti, ó SENHOR, elevo a minha alma.
2 To thee, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 Ó meu Deus, eu confio em ti; não deixes que eu seja envergonhado, não deixes que meus inimigos triunfem sobre mim.
3 O my God, in thee I trust, let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.
3 Sim, não deixes que ninguém que espere em ti seja envergonhado; sejam envergonhados aqueles que transgridem sem causa.
4 Yea, let none that wait for thee be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
4 Mostra-me os teus caminhos, ó SENHOR; ensina-me as tuas veredas.
5 Make me to know thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5 Guia-me na tua verdade e ensina-me; porque tu és o Deus da minha salvação; em ti eu espero todo o dia.
6 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; for thee I wait all the day long.
6 Lembra, ó SENHOR, das tuas tenras misericórdias e das tuas benignidades; porque elas são muito antigas.
7 Be mindful of thy mercy, O LORD, and of thy steadfast love, for they have been from of old.
7 Não te lembres dos pecados da minha juventude, nem das minhas transgressões; de acordo com a tua misericórdia, lembra-te de mim por causa da tua bondade, ó SENHOR.
8 Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions; according to thy steadfast love remember me, for thy goodness' sake, O LORD!
8 Bom e reto é o SENHOR; portanto, ele ensinará aos pecadores o caminho.
9 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
9 Os mansos ele guiará no juízo; e aos mansos ele ensinará seu caminho.
10 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
10 Todos os caminhos do SENHOR são misericórdia e verdade para os que guardam seu pacto e seus testemunhos.
11 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 Por causa do teu nome, ó SENHOR, perdoa a minha iniquidade; porque ela é grande.
12 For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great.
12 Que homem é aquele que teme ao SENHOR? A ele ensinará no caminho que escolher.
13 Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.
13 Sua alma habitará no sossego; e a sua semente herdará a terra.
14 He himself shall abide in prosperity, and his children shall possess the land.
14 O segredo do SENHOR está com aqueles que o temem; e ele lhes mostrará seu pacto.
15 The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.
15 Meus olhos estão sempre em direção ao SENHOR; porque ele arrancará meus pés da rede.
16 My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Torna-te para mim, e tem misericórdia de mim; porque estou desolado e aflito.
17 Turn thou to me, and be gracious to me; for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 As aflições do meu coração se aumentaram; ó leva-me para fora de minhas angústias.
18 Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me out of my distresses.
18 Olha para a minha aflição e para a minha dor; e perdoa todos os meus pecados.
19 Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.
19 Considera meus inimigos; porque eles são muitos; e eles me odeiam com ódio cruel.
20 Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.
20 Ó guarda a minha alma, e livra-me; não deixes que eu seja envergonhado; porque eu ponho minha confiança em ti.
21 Oh guard my life, and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.
21 Que a integridade e a retidão me preservem; porquanto eu espero em ti.
22 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for thee. [ (Psalms 25:23) Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. ]
22 Redime a Israel, ó Deus, de todos os seus problemas.
