Salmos 37
Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs NVI
1 Burn not with vexation because of evil-doers, Be not envious of the workers of perversity;
1 Não se aborreça por causa dos homens maus e não tenha inveja dos perversos;
2 For, like grass, soon shall they wither, and, like green herbage, shall they fade.
2 pois como o capim logo secarão, como a relva verde logo murcharão.
3 Trust in Yahweh, and do good, Dwell in the land, and feed on fidelity;
3 Confie no Senhor e faça o bem; assim você habitará na terra e desfrutará segurança.
4 Yea, rest thy delight on Yahweh, that he may give thee the requests of thy heart.
4 Deleite-se no Senhor, e ele atenderá aos desejos do seu coração.
5 Roll on Yahweh thy way, Trust also in him, and, he, will effectually work:
5 Entregue o seu caminho ao Senhor; confie nele, e ele agirá:
6 So will he bring forth, as the light, thy righteousness, and thy vindication as the noonday.
6 Ele deixará claro como a alvorada que você é justo, e como o sol do meio-dia que você é inocente.
7 Be resigned to Yahweh, yea wait with longing for him; Burn not with vexation at him who prospereth in his way,at the man who doeth wickedness.
7 Descanse no Senhor e aguarde por ele com paciência; não se aborreça com o sucesso dos outros, nem com aqueles que maquinam o mal.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath, Burn not with vexation only to do evil;
8 Evite a ira e rejeite a fúria; não se irrite: isso só leva ao mal.
9 For, evil doers, shall be cut off, but, as for them who wait for Yahweh, they, shall inherit the earth.
9 Pois os maus serão eliminados, mas os que esperam no Senhor receberão a terra por herança.
10 Yet a little, therefore, and the lawless one shall not be, Yea thou shalt look about, over his placeand he shall have vanished!
10 Um pouco de tempo, e os ímpios não mais existirão; por mais que os procure, não serão encontrados.
11 But, the patient oppressed-ones, shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves over the abundance of prosperity.
11 Mas os humildes receberão a terra por herança e desfrutarão pleno bem-estar.
12 Plotting is the lawless one, against the just, and gnashing upon him with his teeth.
12 Os ímpios tramam contra os justos e rosnam contra eles;
13 My Lord, shall laugh at him, for he seeth, that his day, will come.
13 o Senhor, porém, ri dos ímpios, pois sabe que o dia deles está chegando.
14 A sword, have the lawless, drawn out, and have trodden their bow,To bring down the oppressed and the needy, To slaughter the upright in life:
14 Os ímpios desembainham a espada e preparam o arco para abaterem o necessitado e o pobre, para matarem os que andam na retidão.
15 Their sword, shall enter into their own heart, and, their bow, shall be broken.
15 Mas as suas espadas lhes atravessará o coração, e os seus arcos serão quebrados.
16 Better the little of the righteous man, than the abundance of the lawless who are mighty;
16 Melhor é o pouco do justo do que a riqueza de muitos ímpios;
17 For, the arms of the lawless, shall be broken, But Yahweh is upholding the righteous.
17 pois o braço forte dos ímpios será quebrado, mas o Senhor sustém os justos.
18 Yahweh knoweth the days of the blameless, that, their inheritance, unto times age-abiding, shall continue.
18 O Senhor cuida da vida dos íntegros, e a herança deles permanecerá para sempre.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the time of calamity, and, in the days of famine, shall they be filled.
19 Em tempos de adversidade não ficarão decepcionados; em dias de fome desfrutarão fartura.
20 For, the lawless, shall perish, and, the foes of Yahweh, be like the glory of the meadows, They have vanished! In smoke, have they vanished!
20 Mas os ímpios perecerão; Os inimigos do Senhor murcharão como a beleza dos campos; desvanecerão como fumaça.
21 A lawless man borroweth, and will not repay, But, a righteous man, showeth favour and giveth;
21 Os ímpios tomam emprestado e não devolvem, mas os justos dão com generosidade;
22 For, such as are blessed of him, shall inherit the earth, But, the cursed of him, shall be cut off.
22 aqueles que o Senhor abençoa receberão a terra por herança, mas os que ele amaldiçoa serão eliminados.
23 From Yahweh, are the steps of a man made firm, When, with his way, he is well pleased:
23 O Senhor firma os passos de um homem, quando a conduta deste o agrada;
24 Though he fall, he shall not be hurled headlong, For, Yahweh, is holding his hand.
24 ainda que tropece, não cairá, pois o Senhor o toma pela mão.
25 Young, have I been, moreover am old,Yet have I not seen, A righteous man forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread:
25 Já fui jovem e agora sou velho, mas nunca vi o justo desamparado, nem seus filhos mendigando o pão.
26 All day long, is he showing favour and lending, his seed, therefore, shall have a blessing.
26 Ele é sempre generoso e empresta com boa vontade; seus filhos serão abençoados.
27 Turn from evil, and do good, and so settle down, unto times age-abiding.
27 Desvie-se do mal e faça o bem; e você terá sempre onde morar.
28 For, Yahweh, loveth justice, and will not forsake his men of lovingkindness, Unto times age-abiding, have the perverse been destroyed,and the seed of the lawless, been cut off.
28 Pois o Senhor ama quem pratica a justiça, e não abandonará os seus fiéis. Para sempre serão protegidos, mas a descendência dos ímpios será eliminada;
29 The righteous, shall inherit the earth, that they may settle down, to futurity, thereupon.
29 os justos herdarão a terra e nela habitarão para sempre.
30 The mouth of a righteous man, softly uttereth wisdom, and, his tongue, speaketh justice:
30 A boca do justo profere sabedoria, e a sua língua fala conforme a justiça.
31 The law of his God, is in his heart, his steps shall not swerve.
31 Ele traz no coração a lei do seu Deus; nunca pisará em falso.
32 The lawless man, lieth in wait, for the just, and seeketh to put him to death:
32 O ímpio fica à espreita do justo, querendo matá-lo;
33 Yahweh, will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him, when he is judged.
33 mas o Senhor não o deixará cair em suas mãos, nem permitirá que o condenem quando julgado.
34 Wait for Yahweh, and observe thou his path, that he may exalt thee, to inherit the earth, On the cutting off of the lawless, shalt thou look.
34 Espere no Senhor e siga a sua vontade. Ele o exaltará, dando-lhe a terra por herança; quando os ímpios forem eliminados, você o verá.
35 I have seen a lawless man, a tyrant, and spreading himself out, like a cedar in Lebanon;
35 Vi um homem ímpio e cruel florescendo como frondosa árvore nativa,
36 Then I passed by, and lo! he had vanished! Yea I sought him, but he could not be found.
36 mas logo desapareceu e não mais existia; embora eu o procurasse, não pôde ser encontrado.
37 Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright, for there is a hereafter for the man of peace;
37 Considere o íntegro, observe o justo; há futuro para o homem de paz.
38 But, transgressors, are to be destroyed together, the hereafter of lawless men, is to be cut off.
38 Mas todos os rebeldes serão destruídos; futuro para os ímpios, nunca haverá.
39 But, the deliverance of the righteous, is from Yahweh, their refuge in a time of distress.
39 Do Senhor vem a salvação dos justos; ele é a sua fortaleza na hora da adversidade.
40 Thus hath Yahweh helped them, thus hath he delivered them,He will deliver them from the lawless, and will save them, because they have sought refuge in him.
40 O Senhor os ajuda e os livra; ele os livra dos ímpios e os salva, porque nele se refugiam.
