1 Thou therefore O son of man Take thee a tablet, and lay it before thee,and pourtray thereon a city, even Jerusalem.
1 Tu também, filho do homem, toma uma telha, e coloca diante de ti, e grava sobre ela a cidade, a própria Jerusalém.
2 Then shalt thou lay siege against it And bud up against it a siege-wall And cast up against it, a mound, And set against it camps, And place against it battering-rams, round about.
2 E põe um cerco contra ela, e edifica um forte contra ela, e molda um monte contra ela, também coloca um acampamento contra ela, e põe aríetes contra ela ao redor.
3 Thou, therefore take time a pan of iron, and set it for a wall of iron, between thee and the city,then shalt thou direct thy face against it and it shall come into siege and thou shalt lay siege to it, a sign, shall it be to the house of Israel.
3 Além disso, toma para ti uma panela de ferro, e põe-na por muro de ferro entre ti e a cidade; e põe tua face contra ela, e ela estará cercada, e tu porás cerco contra ela. Isto será um sinal para a casa de Israel.
4 Thou, therefore lie thou on thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it, during the number of the days which thou shalt lie thereon, shalt thou bear their punishment.
4 Deita-te também sobre o teu lado esquerdo, e põe a iniquidade da casa de Israel sobre ele; de acordo com o número dos dias que te deitares sobre ele, tu suportarás suas iniquidades.
5 I therefore have appointed thee the years of their punishment, by the number of days a hundred and ninety days,so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
5 Porque eu tenho assinalado sobre ti os anos da sua iniquidade, de acordo com o número dos dias, trezentos e noventa dias; assim tu suportarás a iniquidade da casa de Israel.
6 And when thou hast ended these, then shalt thou lie, on thy right side. a second time, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah, forty days, one day for each year, have I appointed thee.
6 E, quando os tiveres cumprido, deita-te novamente sobre o teu lado direito, e suportarás a iniquidade da casa de Judá por quarenta dias; eu tenho designado para ti um dia por cada ano.
7 Thus then unto the siege of Jerusalem, shalt thou direct thy face, with thine arm made bare,so shalt thou prophesy against it.
7 Portanto, coloca tua face em direção ao cerco de Jerusalém, e o teu braço estará descoberto, e tu profetizarás contra ela.
8 And lo! I have laid upon thee-bands,and thou shalt not turn thee from thy one side to thine other, until thou have ended the days of thy siege.
8 E, eis que coloquei faixas sobre ti, e tu não te virarás de um lado para o outro, até que tenhas terminado os dias do teu cerco.
9 Thou, therefore, take thee wheat and barley and peas and lentils and millet and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make them ready for thee as bread,during the number of days which thou art lying on thy side. a hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat it;
9 Toma também para ti trigo, e cevada, e feijão, e lentilhas, e painço e pelos, e coloca-os em uma vasilha, e faze-te o pão; de acordo com o número dos dias que tu te deitares sobre o teu lado, trezentos e noventa dias, tu comerás disso.
10 and thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight twenty shekels a day, from time to time, shalt thou eat it;
10 E o teu alimento, que comerás, será do peso de vinte shekels por dia; de tempo em tempo tu a comerás.
11 and water by measure, shalt thou drink the sixth part of a hin,-from time to time shalt thou drink;
11 Também beberás a água por medida, a sexta parte de um him; de tempo em tempo beberás.
12 and as a barley cake, shalt thou eat it,and the same with dung proceeding from man, shalt thou bake, before their eyes.
12 E tu o comerás como bolos de cevada, e os cozinhará com o esterco que sai do homem, à vista deles.
13 Then said Yahweh, In like manner, shall the sons of Israel eat their bread defiled,among the nations whither I will drive them.
13 E o SENHOR disse: Assim mesmo comerão os filhos de Israel o seu pão contaminado, entre os gentios, para onde os lançarei.
14 Then said, I, Ah! My Lord. Yahweh, lo! my person, hath not been defiled: neither of what hath died of itself nor of what hath been torn in pieces: have I eaten, from my youthful days even unto now, neither hath come into my mouth the flesh of a foul thing.
14 Então eu disse: Ah! Senhor DEUS! Eis que a minha alma não tem sido poluída, porque desde a minha juventude até agora, nunca comi daquilo que morre por si mesmo, ou que é rasgado em pedaços; nem carne abominável entrou na minha boca.
15 So then he said unto me, See I have granted thee cows dung for mans dung,and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereupon.
15 Então, ele me disse: Eis que, dei-te esterco de vacas, em lugar de esterco de homem; e tu prepararás o teu pão com ele.
16 And he said unto me, Son of man Behold me! breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, So shall they eat bread by weight and with anxious care, And water by measure, and in astonishment, shall they drink:
16 Além disso, ele me disse: Filho do homem, eis que eu quebrarei o báculo de pão em Jerusalém, e eles comerão o pão por peso, e com cuidado; e a água beberão por medida, e com espanto;
17 that they may lack bread and water and be astonished one with another, and pine away in their punishment.
17 para que eles tenham falta de pão e de água, e se espantem uns com os outros, e se consumam por suas iniquidades.
