Isaías 32
New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs NVT
1 Some day there will be a king who rules with integrity, and national leaders who govern with righteousness. Princes will rule for the sake of justice.
1 Vejam, aí vem um rei justo! Seus príncipes governarão com retidão.
2 Each of them will be like a shelter from the wind and a place to hide from storms. They will be like streams flowing in a desert, like the shadow of a giant rock in a barren land.
2 Cada um será como abrigo contra o vento e refúgio contra a tempestade, como riacho no deserto e sombra de uma grande pedra em terra seca.
3 Their eyes and ears will be open to the needs of the people.
3 Então todos que têm olhos verão a verdade, e todos que têm ouvidos a ouvirão.
4 They will not be impatient any longer, but they will act with understanding and will pay attention to the needs of the people.
4 Até os que se iram depressa terão bom senso e entendimento, e os que gaguejam falarão com clareza.
5 No one will think that a fool is honorable or say that a scoundrel is honest.
5 Naquele dia, os tolos não serão considerados heróis, e as pessoas sem caráter não serão respeitadas.
6 A fool speaks foolishly and thinks up evil things to do. He promotes wickedness and what he says insults Jehovah. He never feeds the hungry or gives thirsty people anything to drink.
6 Pois os tolos dizem tolices e planejam o mal. Praticam a perversidade e espalham falsos ensinamentos a respeito do S Negam comida aos famintos e não dão água aos sedentos.
7 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil. He devises wicked schemes to destroy the afflicted with slander, even though the needy one speaks what is right.
7 As artimanhas dessa gente sem caráter são perversas; tramam planos maldosos e mentem para condenar os pobres, mesmo quando a causa dos pobres é justa.
8 But the noble man devises noble plans. He stands firm for what is honorable.
8 Os generosos, porém, planejam fazer o que é generoso e permanecem firmes em sua generosidade.
9 Rise up, you women who are at ease. Hear my voice and pay attention to my word, you complacent daughters.
9 Ouçam, mulheres negligentes; prestem atenção, vocês que são tão arrogantes.
10 Within a year and some days you will be troubled, O complacent women for the vintage is ended, the fruit gathering will not happen.
10 Em breve, pouco mais de um ano, vocês, presunçosas, ficarão apavoradas. Suas plantações de frutas nada produzirão, e não haverá colheitas.
11 Tremble you women who are at ease. Be troubled you complacent ones. Undress and put sackcloth on your waist,
11 Tremam, mulheres negligentes, deixem de lado sua arrogância. Arranquem suas lindas roupas e vistam-se de pano de saco.
12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,
12 Batam no peito em lamento por suas belas propriedades e videiras frutíferas.
13 For the land of my people where thorns and briars will grow for they are on the delightful houses and the exultant city.
13 Pois suas terras ficarão cobertas de espinhos e mato; seus lares alegres e suas cidades felizes desaparecerão.
14 Because the palace has been abandoned, the populated city forsaken. Hill and watchtower have become caves forever. They will be a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks.
14 O palácio será abandonado, e a cidade, sempre agitada, ficará vazia. Jumentos selvagens andarão soltos, e rebanhos pastarão nas fortalezas
15 The Spirit will be poured out upon us from on high. Then the wilderness will be turned into a fertile field, and the fertile field will be considered a forest.
15 até que, por fim, o Espírito seja derramado do céu sobre nós. Então o deserto se tornará campo fértil, e o campo fértil produzirá colheitas fartas.
16 Then justice will live in the wilderness, and righteousness will be at home in the fertile field.
16 A retidão governará no deserto, e a justiça, no campo fértil.
17 An act of righteousness will bring about peace and security forever.
17 E essa justiça trará paz; haverá sossego e confiança para sempre.
18 My people will live in a peaceful place, in safe homes and quiet places of rest.
18 Meu povo viverá em paz, tranquilo em seu lar; terá descanso e segurança.
19 The forest will be flattened because of hail, and the city will be completely leveled.
19 Ainda que os bosques sejam destruídos e a cidade seja arrasada,
20 Blessed are those who plant beside every stream and those who let cattle and donkeys roam freely.
20 o povo será abençoado. Onde quer que semeiem, terão colheitas fartas; seu gado e seus jumentos pastarão livremente.
