1 E Gesú, riprendendo la parola, di nuovo parlò loro in parabole dicendo:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 »Il regno dei cieli è simile a un re, il quale preparò le nozze di suo figlio.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 E mandò i suoi servi a chiamare gli invitati alle nozze, ma questi non vollero venire.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Di nuovo mandò altri servi dicendo: »Dite aglinvitati: Ecco, io ho apparecchiato il mio pranzo, i miei vitelli e i miei animali ingrassati sono ammazzati ed è tutto pronto; venite alle nozze«.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ma essi, non curandosene, se ne andarono chi al proprio campo, chi ai propri affari.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 E gli altri, presi i suoi servi, li oltraggiarono e li uccisero.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Il re allora, udito ciò, si adirò e mandò i suoi eserciti per sterminare quegli omicidi e per incendiare la loro città.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Disse quindi ai suoi servi: »Le nozze sono pronte, ma glinvitati non ne erano degni.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Andate dunque agli incroci delle strade e chiamate alle nozze chiunque troverete
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 E quei servi, usciti per le strade, radunarono tutti coloro che trovarono cattivi e buoni, e la sala delle nozze si riempí di commensali.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Ora il re, entrato per vedere i commensali, vi trovò un uomo che non indossava labito da nozze;
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 e gli disse: »amico come sei entrato qui senza avere labito da nozze?« E quegli rimase con la bocca chiusa.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Allora il re disse ai servi: »Legatelo mani e piedi, prendetelo e gettatelo nelle tenebre di fuori. Lí sarà il pianto e lo stridor di denti.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Poiché molti sono chiamati, ma pochi eletti«.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Allora i farisei, allontanatisi, si consigliarono sul modo di coglierlo in fallo nelle parole,
15 — ausente —
16 E gli mandarono i propri discepoli, con gli erodiani, per dirgli: »Maestro, noi sappiamo che tu sei verace e che insegni la via di Dio in verità, senza preoccuparti del giudizio di alcuno, perché tu non riguardi allapparenza delle persone.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Dicci dunque: Che te ne pare? è lecito o no pagare il tributo a Cesare?«.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ma Gesú, conoscendo la loro malizia, disse: »Perché mi tentate, ipocriti?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Mostratemi la moneta del tributo«. Allora essi gli presentarono un denaro.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ed egli disse loro: »Di chi è questa immagine e questa iscrizione?«.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Essi gli dissero: »Di Cesare«. Allora egli disse loro: »Rendete dunque a Cesare ciò che è di Cesare e a Dio ciò che è di Dio«.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ed essi, udito ciò, si meravigliarono e, lasciatolo, se ne andarono.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 In quello stesso giorno vennero da lui i sadducei, i quali dicono che non vi è risurrezione, e lo interrogarono,
23 — ausente —
24 dicendo: »Maestro, Mosé ha detto: »se qualcuno muore senza avere figli, il suo fratello ne sposi la moglie, per dare una discendenza a suo fratello«
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Ora, cerano tra noi sette fratelli, il primo dopo essersi sposato morí e, non avendo discendenza, lasciò la moglie a suo fratello.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Cosí anche il secondo e il terzo, fino al settimo.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Per ultima, morí anche la donna.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Alla risurrezione, dunque, di chi dei sette costei sarà moglie? Poiché tutti lebbero come moglie«.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ma Gesú, rispondendo, disse loro: »Voi sbagliate, non comprendendo né le Scritture né la potenza di Dio.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Nella risurrezione, infatti, né si sposano né sono date in moglie, ma essi saranno in cielo come gli angeli di Dio.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Quanto poi alla risurrezione dei morti, non avete letto ciò che vi fu detto da Dio, quando disse:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 IO sono il Dio di Abrahamo, il Dio dIsacco e di Giacobbe Dio non è il Dio dei morti, ma dei viventi«.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 E le folle, udite queste cose, stupivano della sua dottrina,
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Allora i farisei, avendo udito che egli aveva messo a tacere i sadducei, si radunarono insieme.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 E uno di loro, dottore della legge, lo interrogò per metterlo alla prova, dicendo:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 »Maestro, qual è il grande comandamento della legge?«.
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 E Gesú gli disse: »"ama il Signore Dio tuo con tutto il tuo cuore, con tutta lanima tua e con tutta la tua mente".
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Questo è il primo e il gran comandamento.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 E il secondo, simile a questo, è: »ama il tuo prossimo come te stesso«.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Da questi due comandamenti dipendono tutta la legge e i profeti«,
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Ora, essendo i farisei riuniti, Gesú chiese loro:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 »Che ve ne pare del Cristo? Di chi è figlio?«. Essi gli dissero: »Di Davide«.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Egli disse loro: »Come mai dunque Davide, per lo Spirito, lo chiama Signore, dicendo:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore: »Siedi alla mia destra, finché io abbia posto i tuoi nemici come sgabello dei tuoi piedi«?
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Se dunque Davide lo chiama Signore, come può essere suo figlio?«.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Ma nessuno era in grado di rispondergli; e, da quel giorno, nessuno osò piú interrogarlo.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
