1 Halelu-JAH. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise [him], O ye servants of the LORD.
1 Louvai ao Senhor ! Louvai o nome do Senhor ; louvai-o, servos do Senhor .
2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
2 Vós que assistis na Casa do Senhor , nos átrios da Casa do nosso Deus.
3 praise JAH; for the LORD [is] good; sing praises unto his name; for [it is] pleasant.
3 Louvai ao Senhor , porque o Senhor é bom; cantai louvores ao seu nome, porque é agradável.
4 For JAH has chosen Jacob unto himself [and] Israel for his own possession.
4 Porque o Senhor escolheu para si a Jacó e a Israel, para seu tesouro peculiar.
5 For I know that the LORD [is] great and [that] our Lord [is] above all gods.
5 Porque eu conheço que o Senhor é grande e que o nosso Deus está acima de todos os deuses.
6 Whatever the LORD desired, he did in the heavens and in the earth, in the seas and in all the deep places.
6 Tudo o que o Senhor quis, ele o fez, nos céus e na terra, nos mares e em todos os abismos.
7 He who causes the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth, made the lightnings in the rain; he who brings the winds out of his treasuries.
7 Faz subir os vapores das extremidades da terra; faz os relâmpagos para a chuva; tira os ventos dos seus tesouros.
8 He who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast;
8 Foi ele que feriu os primogênitos do Egito, desde os homens até aos animais;
9 sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
9 que operou sinais e prodígios no meio de ti, ó Egito, contra Faraó e contra os seus servos;
10 He who smote many Gentiles and slew mighty kings,
10 que feriu muitas nações e deu morte a poderosos reis:
11 Sihon king of the Amorites and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan
11 a Seom, rei dos amorreus, e a Ogue, rei de Basã, e a todos os reinos de Canaã,
12 gave their land [for] a heritage, a heritage unto Israel his people.
12 e deu a sua terra em herança, em herança a Israel, seu povo.
13 Thy name, O LORD, [is] eternal, [and] thy memorial, O LORD, from generation to generation.
13 O teu nome, ó Senhor , permanece perpetuamente; e a tua memória, ó Senhor , de geração em geração.
14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
14 Pois o Senhor julgará o seu povo e se arrependerá em atenção aos seus servos.
15 The idols of the Gentiles [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
15 Os ídolos das nações são prata e ouro, obra das mãos dos homens.
16 They have a mouth, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see;
16 Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, e não veem;
17 they have ears, but they do not hear; neither is there [any] spirit in their mouths.
17 têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem, nem há respiro algum na sua boca.
18 [Let] those that make them become like unto them [and] every one that trusts in them.
18 Semelhantes a eles se tornem os que os fazem, e todos os que confiam neles.
19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel; bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
19 Casa de Israel, bendizei ao Senhor ! Casa de Arão, bendizei ao Senhor !
20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi; ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
20 Casa de Levi, bendizei ao Senhor ! Vós, os que temeis ao Senhor , louvai ao Senhor !
21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion who dwells at Jerusalem. Halelu-JAH.:
21 Bendito seja, desde Sião, o Senhor , que habita em Jerusalém. Louvai ao Senhor !
