1 At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.
1 Sobre isto também treme o meu coração, e se move de seu lugar.
2 Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goeth out of His mouth.
2 Ouvi atentamente o barulho da sua voz, e o som que sai da sua boca.
3 He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and His lightning unto the ends of the earth.
3 Ele o direciona debaixo de todo o céu, e a sua luz até aos confins da terra.
4 After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of His majesty; and He stayeth them not when His voice is heard.
4 Depois disto ruge uma voz; ele troveja com a voz de sua excelência; e ele não os deterá quando a sua voz for ouvida.
5 God thundereth marvellously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend.
5 Deus troveja maravilhosamente com a sua voz; grandes coisas ele faz, as quais não podemos compreender.
6 For He saith to the snow: 'Fall thou on the earth'; likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of His mighty rain.
6 Porque à neve diz: Sê sobre a terra; como também à garoa e à forte chuva de sua força.
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man, that all men whom He hath made may know it.
7 Ele sela as mãos de todo o homem, para que todos os homens possam conhecer a sua obra.
8 Then the beasts go into coverts, and remain in their dens.
8 Então os animais entram nos seus covis, e permanecem em seus lugares.
9 Out of the Chamber cometh the storm; and cold out of the north.
9 Do sul vem o redemoinho de vento; e do norte o frio.
10 By the breath of God ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
10 Pelo sopro de Deus se dá a geada, e a largura das águas é estreitada.
11 Yea, He ladeth the thick cloud with moister, He spreadeth abroad the cloud of His lightning;
11 Carrega de umidade a densa nuvem, ele dispersa sua nuvem brilhante;
12 And they are turned round about by His guidance, that they may do whatsoever He commandeth them upon the face of the habitable world:
12 que giram e dão voltas pelos seus conselhos, para que façam o que quer que ele as comande sobre a face do mundo na terra.
13 Whether it be for correction, or for His earth, or for mercy, that He cause it to come.
13 Ele a faz vir, seja por correção, ou por sua terra, ou por misericórdia.
14 Hearken unto this, O Job; stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
14 Ouve isto, ó Jó; para, e considera as obras maravilhosas de Deus.
15 Dost thou know how God enjoineth them, and causeth the lightning of His cloud to shine?
15 Acaso tu sabes quando Deus as dispôs, e fez brilhar a luz da sua nuvem?
16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
16 Conheces tu o equilíbrio das nuvens, e as obras maravilhosas daquele que é perfeito em conhecimento?
17 Thou whose garments are warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south wind;
17 Como as tuas roupas são aquecidas, quando ele aquieta a terra com o vento do sul?
18 Canst thou with Him spread out the sky, which is strong as a molten mirror?
18 Estendeste com ele o céu, que é forte e como um espelho fundido?
19 Teach us what we shall say unto Him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
19 Ensina-nos o que lhe diremos; porque não podemos ordenar nosso discurso, por causa das trevas.
20 Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
20 Ser-lhe-á contado que eu falo? Se um homem falar, certamente ele será engolido.
21 And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
21 E agora os homens não veem a luz brilhante que está nas nuvens; mas o vento passa e as limpa.
22 Out of the north cometh golden splendour, about God is terrible majesty.
22 Bom tempo vem do norte; em Deus há uma tremenda majestade.
23 The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, is excellent in power, yet to judgment and plenteous justice He doeth no violence.
23 Ao Todo-Poderoso, não conseguimos alcançá-lo; ele é excelente em poder, e em juízo, e em plenitude de justiça; ele não afligirá.
24 Men do therefore fear Him; He regardeth not any that are wise of heart.
24 Os homens, portanto, o temem; ele não respeita ninguém que seja sábio de coração.
