1 This is the booke of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created Adam, in the likenes of God made he him,
1 Este é o livro da história da família de Adão. Quando Deus criou o homem, ele o fez à imagem de Deus.
2 Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.
2 Criou-os homem e mulher, e os abençoou, e deu-lhes o nome de homem no dia em que os criou.
3 Nowe Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a childe in his owne likenes after his image, and called his name Sheth.
3 Adão viveu cento e trinta anos: e gerou um filho à sua semelhança, à sua imagem, e deu-lhe o nome de Set.
4 And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Sheth, were eight hundreth yeeres, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
4 Depois de haver gerado Set, Adão viveu oitocentos anos e gerou filhos e filhas.
5 So all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundreth and thirtie yeeres: and he died.
5 Todo o tempo que Adão viveu foi novecentos e trinta anos. E depois disso morreu.
6 And Sheth liued an hundreth and fiue yeeres, and begate Enosh.
6 Set viveu cento e cinco anos, e depois gerou Enos.
7 And Sheth liued, after he begate Enosh, eight hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
7 E depois do nascimento de Enos, viveu ainda oitocentos e sete anos e gerou filhos e filhas.
8 So all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.
8 A duração total da vida de Set foi de novecentos e doze anos; e depois disso morreu.
9 Also Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.
9 Enos viveu noventa anos, e depois gerou Cainan.
10 And Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
10 E depois do nascimento de Cainan, Enos viveu ainda oitocentos e quinze anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
11 So all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died
11 E o tempo da vida de Enos foi de novecentos e cinco anos; e morreu.
12 Likewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.
12 Cainan viveu setenta anos, e depois gerou Malaleel.
13 And Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
13 Após o nascimento de Malaleel, Cainan viveu ainda oitocentos e quarenta anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
14 So all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.
14 Todo o tempo da vida de Cainan foi de novecentos e dez anos; e morreu.
15 Mahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.
15 Malaleel viveu sessenta e cinco anos, e depois gerou Jared.
16 Also Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
16 Após o nascimento de Jared, Malaleel viveu ainda oitocentos e trinta anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
17 So all the dayes of Mahalaleel were eight hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres: and he died.
17 Todo o tempo da vida de Malaleel foi de oitocentos e noventa e cinco anos; e morreu.
18 And Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.
18 Jared viveu cento e sessenta e dois anos, e gerou Henoc.
19 Then Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
19 Após o nascimento de Henoc, Jared viveu ainda oitocentos anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
20 So all the dayes of Iered were nine hundreth sixtie and two yeeres: and he died.
20 Todo o tempo da vida de Jared foi de novecentos e sessenta e dois anos; e morreu.
21 Also Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.
21 Henoc viveu sessenta e cinco anos e gerou Matusalém.
22 And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
22 Após o nascimento de Matusalém, Henoc andou com Deus durante trezentos anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
23 So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.
23 A duração total da vida de Henoc foi de trezentos e sessenta e cinco anos.
24 And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.
24 Henoc andou com Deus e desapareceu, porque Deus o levou.
25 Methushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.
25 Matusalém viveu cento e oitenta e sete anos, e gerou Lamec.
26 And Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
26 Após o nascimento de Lamec, Matusalém viveu ainda setecentos e oitenta e dois anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
27 So al the dayes of Methushelah were nine hundreth sixtie and nine yeeres: and he died.
27 A duração total da vida de Matusalém foi de novecentos e sessenta e nove anos; e morreu.
28 Then Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,
28 Lamec viveu cento e oitenta e dois anos, e gerou um filho,
29 And called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.
29 ao qual pôs o nome de Noé, dizendo: "Este nos trará, em nossas fadigas e no duro labor de nossas mãos, um alívio tirado da terra mesma que o Senhor amaldiçoou."
30 And Lamech liued, after he begate Noah, fiue hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
30 Após o nascimento de Noé, Lamec viveu ainda quinhentos e noventa e cinco anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
31 So all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.
31 A duração total da vida de Lamec foi de setecentos e setenta e sete anos; e morreu.
32 And Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
32 Com a idade de quinhentos anos, Noé gerou Sem, Cam e Jafet.
