³ o qual tinha sua morada nos sepulcros; e nenhum homem podia prendê-lo, não, nem com correntes;

⁴ porque, tendo sido ele muitas vezes preso com grilhões e correntes, e as correntes foram por ele arrancadas, e os grilhões quebrados em partes, e nenhum homem podia amansá-lo.

⁵ and through of{all} of{night and day} in to{the mountains} and in to{the memorial-effects} he-has-been-being crying-out and cutting-down sameself to{stones}.

⁵ E sempre, noite e dia, ele estava nos montes, e nos sepulcros, gritando, e cortando-se com pedras.

⁶ Moreover, behold[ing] the Jesus from afar, he-hurries and worships to{same},

⁶ Mas quando ele viu Jesus ao longe, correu e adorou-o,

⁷ and cry[ing]-out to{great sound}, he-says, "What[?] to{emphatically-me} and to{you}, Jesus, Son of{the God, the highest}[?] I-am-oath-izing you, [by] the God; you-should_not_torture me,"

⁷ e, clamando com grande voz, disse: Que tenho eu contigo, Jesus, Filho do Deus Altíssimo? Conjuro-te por Deus que não me atormentes.

⁸ for he-has-been-saying to{same}, "Come-out," the spirit, the unclean, out of{the man},

⁸ Pois ele lhe dizia: Sai deste homem, espírito imundo.

⁹ and he-has-been-asking-upon same, "What[?] name to{you}[?]" and he-is-saying to{same}, "'Legion,' name to{me}, that we-are-being many,"

⁹ E ele perguntou-lhe: Qual é o teu nome? E lhe respondeu, dizendo: Meu nome é Legião, porque somos muitos.

¹¹ Ora, estavam ali perto nos montes, uma grande manada de porcos se alimentando.

¹² and all the demons call-aside same, saying, "Dispatch us into the pigs, in-which-place we-may-come-into into same,"

¹² E todos os demônios lhe pediram, dizendo: Manda-nos para aqueles porcos, para que possamos entrar neles.

¹³ and straightaway the Jesus turns-upon to{same} and, come[ing]-out, the spirits, the unclean, come-into into the pigs, and the herd dashes down of{the precipice} into the seawater. Moreover, they-have-been-being as two-thousand, and they-have-been-being-choked in to{the seawater}.

¹³ E imediatamente Jesus lhes deu permissão. E os espíritos imundos saíram, e entraram nos porcos; e a manada desceu violentamente pelo declive para o mar, (eram cerca de dois mil); e eles se afogaram no mar.

¹⁴ Moreover, the[plural] grazing the pigs flee and message-off/away into the city and into the fields, and they-come-out to-behold what is-being the having-become,

¹⁴ E os que apascentavam os porcos fugiram, e o anunciaram na cidade e nos campos; e eles saíram para ver o que havia acontecido.

¹⁵ and they-are-being-come toward the Jesus and are-observing the being-demonized being-seated and having-been-outer-garmented and being-of-sound-disposition, the having-had the legion, and they-fear,

¹⁵ E eles foram até Jesus, e viram aquele que fora possuído pelo demônio, e tivera a legião, assentado, vestido e em perfeito juízo; e eles ficaram com medo.

¹⁶ and the behold[ing] describe to{same} how it-becomes to{the being-demonized}, and about of{the pigs},

¹⁶ E os que tinham visto isso, contaram-lhes o que acontecera ao possuído pelo demônio, e também acerca dos porcos.

¹⁷ and they-initiate to-be-calling-aside same to-come-off/away-from from of{the boundaries} of{same},

¹⁷ E eles começaram a suplicar-lhe para que saísse das suas regiões.

¹⁸ and of{same step[ing]-in} into the boat, the demonized has-been-calling-aside same, in-which-place he-may-be-being alongside of{same}.

¹⁸ E, entrando ele no barco, suplicava-lhe o que fora possuído pelo demônio que pudesse estar com ele.

²¹ and, of{the Jesus go[ing]-through-to-other-side} in to{the boat}, [a] vast crowd again is-gathered upon same into the other-side, and he-has-been-being beside the seawater,

²¹ E, passando Jesus outra vez com o barco para o outro lado, ajuntaram-se a ele muitas pessoas; e ele estava junto do mar.

²² and, behold, one of{the gathering[translit. "synagogue"]-chiefs} is-being-come, "Jairus" to{name}, and, behold[ing] same, is-falling toward the feet of{same},

²² E eis que chegou um dos governantes da sinagoga, por nome Jairo, e, vendo-o, prostrou-se aos seus pés,

²³ and he-has-been-calling-aside same much, saying that "the daughterling of{me} is-having end-ly, in-which-place, come[ing], you-may-place to{same} the hands, which-how she-may-be-saved and will-be-alive,"

²³ e rogava-lhe muito, dizendo: Minha filhinha jaz à beira da morte: Rogo-te, venhas e lhe imponhas as mãos, para que ela seja curada, e ela viverá.

²⁴ and he-comes-off/away alongside of{same} and [a] vast crowd has-been-accompanying to{same}, and they-have-been-together-pressing/constricting/compressing same,

²⁴ E Jesus foi com ele, e muitas pessoas o seguiam, e o apertavam.

²⁵ and some woman, being in to{flow-sis[i.e. a state of flow]} of{blood} twelve years

²⁵ E certa mulher, vítima de um fluxo de sangue havia doze anos,

²⁶ and, suffer[ing] much under of{many curers} and spend[ing] the, beside of{same[feminine]}, all, and profited nothing; contrariwise, come[ing] more into the worse,

²⁶ e tinha sofrido muitas coisas de muitos médicos, e tinha gasto tudo o que ela tinha, e não havia melhorado, mas antes cada vez pior.

²⁷ hear[ing] about of{the Jesus}, come[ing] in to{the crowd} from-behind she-takes-hold of{the outer-garment} of{same},

²⁷ Quando ela tinha ouvido falar de Jesus, veio por detrás comprimida , e tocou na sua veste.

²⁸ for she-has-been-saying that "and-supposing I-should-take-hold of{the outer-garments} of{same}, I-will-be-saved,"

²⁸ Porque ela dizia: Se eu somente tocar nas suas vestes eu serei sã.

²⁹ and straightaway the fountain of{the blood} of{same} is-dried, and she-knows to{the body} that she-has-been-cured from of{the scourge},

²⁹ E imediatamente a fonte do seu sangue secou, e ela sentiu no seu corpo já estar curada daquela aflição.

³⁰ and straightaway the Jesus, know[ing]-upon in to{sameself} the empowerment come[ing]-out out of{same}, turned-upon in to{the crowd}, has-been-saying, "Who[?] takes-hold of{the outer-garments} of{me}[?],"

³⁰ E Jesus, no mesmo instante sabendo que saíra virtude de si mesmo, voltou-se para a multidão, e disse: Quem tocou nas minhas vestes?

³¹ and the disciples of{same} have-been-saying to{same}, "You-are-viewing the crowd together-pressing/constricting/compressing you, and you-are-saying, 'Who[?] takes-hold of{me}[?],'"

³¹ E disseram-lhe os seus discípulos: Tu vês que a multidão te aperta, e dizes: Quem me tocou?

³² and he-has-been-viewing-around-such-as-to-be-viewed-around to-behold the do[ing] the-same.

³² E ele olhava em redor para ver aquela que tinha feito isso.

³³ Moreover, the woman, fear[ing] and trembling, having-beheld what has-become upon to{same[feminine]}, comes and falls-toward to{same} and says to{same} all the truth.

³³ Mas a mulher, atemorizada e trêmula, sabendo o que foi feito a ela, aproximou-se, e caiu no chão diante dele, e disse-lhe toda a verdade.

³⁴ Moreover, the says to{same}, "Daughter, the faith of{you} has-saved you. Be-withdrawing into peace and be-being healthy from of{the scourge} of{you}."

³⁴ E ele lhe disse: Filha, a tua fé te sarou; vai-te em paz, e sê curada desta tua aflição.

³⁵ Still of{same speaking}, they-are-being-come from of{the gathering[translit. "synagogue"]-chief}, saying that "the daughter of{you} dies-off/away; what[?], still you-are-hassling the teacher[?]"

³⁵ Enquanto ele ainda falava, vieram alguns da casa do governante da sinagoga, a quem disseram: A tua filha está morta; porque ainda incomodas o Mestre?

³⁶ Moreover, straightaway the Jesus, hear[ing] the word being-spoken, is-saying to{the gathering[translit. "synagogue"]-chief}, "Do_not_be-fearing, only be-believing,"

³⁶ Mas Jesus, tão logo ouviu essas palavras, disse ao governante da sinagoga: Não temas, crê somente.

³⁷ and he-does_not_let-off not-one to{same} to-accompany-together, if not Peter and James and John, the brother of{James},

³⁷ E ele não permitiu que nenhum homem o seguisse, senão Pedro, Tiago, e João, irmão de Tiago.

³⁸ and he-is-being-come into the house of{the gathering[translit. "synagogue"]-chief} and he-is-observing tumult and weeping and much shouting,

³⁸ E, tendo chegado à casa do governante da sinagoga, viu o alvoroço, e os que choravam e pranteavam muito.

³⁹ and, come[ing]-into, he-is-saying to{same}, "What[?] you-are-being-tumult-ed and are-weeping[?] The childling does_not_die-off/away; contrariwise, she-is-lying-asleep,"

³⁹ E ele entrando, disse-lhes: Por que fazeis alvoroço e chorais? A menina não está morta, mas dorme.

⁴⁰ and they-have-been-laughing-down/against of{same}. Moreover, the cast[ing]-out all, he-is-taking-aside the father of{the childling} and the mother and the alongside of{same} and he-is-being-gone-into which-where has-been-being the childling being-lain-up/anew,

⁴⁰ E riam-se dele. Ele, porém, tendo feito sair a todos, tomou consigo o pai e a mãe da menina, e os que com ele estavam, e entrou onde a menina estava deitada.

⁴¹ and, sieze[ing] of{the hand} of{the childling}, he-is-saying to{same}, "Talitha coumi," which is-being being-translated, "The girl to{you}, I-am-saying, 'Rouse-self,'"

⁴¹ E ele tomando a menina pela mão, disse-lhe: Talita cumi; que, traduzido, é: Menina, a ti te digo, levanta-te.

⁴² and straightaway the girl stands-up and has-been-walking-around, for she-has-been-being twelve of{years}, and they-astound to{great astoundment},

⁴² E imediatamente a menina se levantou, e andava, pois ela tinha doze anos. E eles assombraram-se com grande espanto.

⁴³ and he-sends-through-such-as-to-be-sent-through many to{same} in-which-place no-one may-know the-same, and he-says to-be-given to{same} to-eat,

⁴³ E ele ordenou-lhes expressamente que nenhum homem soubesse; e mandou que lhe dessem alguma coisa para ela comer.
