1 Moreover, I-judge to{myself} the-same, the not again in to{grief} to-come toward you,
1 Por isso resolvi não entristecê-los com outra visita dolorosa.
2 for if I am-grieving you also who[?] is-being the gladdening me if not the being-grieved out of{emphatically-me}[?],
2 Pois, se eu lhes causar tristeza, quem me alegrará? Certamente não serão aqueles a quem entristeci.
3 and I-write to{you} the-same same, in-which-place, not come[ing], I-may-have grief from of{whom[plural]} it-has-been-necessitating me to-be-joying, having-persuaded upon you all that the my joy is-being of{you all},

12 Quando cheguei à cidade de Trôade para anunciar as boas-novas de Cristo, o Senhor me abriu uma porta de oportunidade.

13 Contudo, não tive paz em meu espírito, pois meu querido irmão Tito ainda não havia chegado com notícias de vocês. Assim, despedi-me dos irmãos dali e fui à Macedônia para procurá-lo.

15 that of{Anointed} we-are-being good-smell-ia to{the God} in to{the[plural] being-saved} and in to{the[plural] perishing-off/away,
15 Somos o aroma de Cristo que se eleva até Deus. Mas esse aroma é percebido de forma diferente por aqueles que estão sendo salvos e por aqueles que estão perecendo.
16 whom[plural]}, on-one-hand, smell of{death} into death; on-the-other-hand, to{whom[plural]} smell of{being-alive[noun]} into being-alive[noun], and toward the-same[neuter plural] who[?] [is] sufficient[?],
16 Para os que estão perecendo, somos cheiro terrível de morte e condenação. Mas, para os que estão sendo salvos, somos perfume que dá vida. E quem está à altura de uma tarefa como essa?
17 for we-are_not_being as the many retailing/peddling the word of{the God}; contrariwise, as out of{sincerity}; contrariwise, as out of{God} down-in-sight of{the God} in to{Anointed} we-are-speaking.
17 Não somos como muitos que fazem da palavra de Deus um artigo de comércio. Pregamos a palavra de Deus com sinceridade e com a autoridade de Cristo, sabendo que Deus nos observa.
