Gênesis 30

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And when Rachel|strong="H7354" saw|strong="H7200" that she bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" no children, Rachel|strong="H7354" envied|strong="H7065" her sister|strong="H0269"; and said|strong="H0559" unto Jacob|strong="H3290", Give|strong="H3051" me children|strong="H1121", or else|strong="H0369" I die|strong="H4191".

And Jacob’s|strong="H3290" anger|strong="H0639" was kindled|strong="H2734" against Rachel|strong="H7354": and he said|strong="H0559", Am I in God’s|strong="H0430" stead, who hath withheld|strong="H4513" from thee the fruit|strong="H6529" of the womb|strong="H0990"?

And she said|strong="H0559", Behold my maid|strong="H0519" Bilhah|strong="H1090", go in|strong="H0935" unto her; and she shall bear|strong="H3205" upon my knees|strong="H1290", that I may also have children|strong="H1129" by her.

And she gave|strong="H5414" him Bilhah|strong="H1090" her handmaid|strong="H8198" to wife|strong="H0802": and Jacob|strong="H3290" went in|strong="H0935" unto her.

And Bilhah|strong="H1090" conceived|strong="H2029", and bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" a son|strong="H1121".

And Rachel|strong="H7354" said|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" hath judged|strong="H1777" me, and hath also heard|strong="H8085" my voice|strong="H6963", and hath given|strong="H5414" me a son|strong="H1121": therefore called|strong="H7121" she his name|strong="H8034" Dan|strong="H1835".

And Bilhah|strong="H1090" Rachel’s|strong="H7354" maid|strong="H8198" conceived|strong="H2029" again, and bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" a second|strong="H8145" son|strong="H1121".

And Rachel|strong="H7354" said|strong="H0559", With great|strong="H0430" wrestlings|strong="H5319" have I wrestled|strong="H6617" with my sister|strong="H0269", and I have prevailed|strong="H3201": and she called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Naphtali|strong="H5321".

When Leah|strong="H3812" saw|strong="H7200" that she had left|strong="H5975" bearing|strong="H3205", she took|strong="H3947" Zilpah|strong="H2153" her maid|strong="H8198", and gave|strong="H5414" her Jacob|strong="H3290" to wife|strong="H0802".

And Zilpah|strong="H2153" Leah’s|strong="H3812" maid|strong="H8198" bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" a son|strong="H1121".

And Leah|strong="H3812" said|strong="H0559", A troop|strong="H1409" cometh|strong="H0935": and she called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Gad|strong="H1410".

And Zilpah|strong="H2153" Leah’s|strong="H3812" maid|strong="H8198" bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" a second|strong="H8145" son|strong="H1121".

And Leah|strong="H3812" said|strong="H0559", Happy am I|strong="H0837", for the daughters|strong="H1323" will call me blessed|strong="H0833": and she called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Asher|strong="H0836".

And Reuben|strong="H7205" went in|strong="H3212" the days|strong="H3117" of wheat|strong="H2406" harvest|strong="H7105", and found|strong="H4672" mandrakes|strong="H1736" in the field|strong="H7704", and brought|strong="H0935" them unto his mother|strong="H0517" Leah|strong="H3812". Then Rachel|strong="H7354" said|strong="H0559" to Leah|strong="H3812", Give me|strong="H5414", I pray thee, of thy son’s|strong="H1121" mandrakes|strong="H1736".

And she said|strong="H0559" unto her, Is it a small matter|strong="H4592" that thou hast taken|strong="H3947" my husband|strong="H0376"? and wouldest thou take away|strong="H3947" my son’s|strong="H1121" mandrakes|strong="H1736" also? And Rachel|strong="H7354" said|strong="H0559", Therefore he shall lie|strong="H7901" with thee to night|strong="H3915" for|strong="H8478" thy son’s|strong="H1121" mandrakes|strong="H1736".

And Jacob|strong="H3290" came|strong="H0935" out of the field|strong="H7704" in the evening|strong="H6153", and Leah|strong="H3812" went out|strong="H3318" to meet|strong="H7125" him, and said|strong="H0559", Thou must come in|strong="H0935" unto me; for surely|strong="H7936" I have hired|strong="H7936" thee with my son’s|strong="H1121" mandrakes|strong="H1736". And he lay|strong="H7901" with her that night|strong="H3915".

And God|strong="H0430" hearkened|strong="H8085" unto Leah|strong="H3812", and she conceived|strong="H2029", and bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" the fifth|strong="H2549" son|strong="H1121".

And Leah|strong="H3812" said|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" hath given|strong="H5414" me my hire|strong="H7939", because|strong="H0834" I have given|strong="H5414" my maiden|strong="H8198" to my husband|strong="H0376": and she called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Issachar|strong="H3485".

And Leah|strong="H3812" conceived|strong="H2029" again, and bare|strong="H3205" Jacob|strong="H3290" the sixth|strong="H8345" son|strong="H1121".

And Leah|strong="H3812" said|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" hath endued|strong="H2064" me with a good|strong="H2896" dowry|strong="H2065"; now|strong="H6471" will my husband|strong="H0376" dwell|strong="H2082" with me, because I have born|strong="H3205" him six|strong="H8337" sons|strong="H1121": and she called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Zebulun|strong="H2074".

And afterwards|strong="H0310" she bare|strong="H3205" a daughter|strong="H1323", and called|strong="H7121" her name|strong="H8034" Dinah|strong="H1783".

And God|strong="H0430" remembered|strong="H2142" Rachel|strong="H7354", and God|strong="H0430" hearkened|strong="H8085" to her, and opened|strong="H6605" her womb|strong="H7358".

And she conceived|strong="H2029", and bare|strong="H3205" a son|strong="H1121"; and said|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" hath taken away|strong="H0622" my reproach|strong="H2781":

And she called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Joseph|strong="H3130"; and said|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall add|strong="H3254" to me another|strong="H0312" son|strong="H1121".

And it came to pass, when Rachel|strong="H7354" had born|strong="H3205" Joseph|strong="H3130", that Jacob|strong="H3290" said|strong="H0559" unto Laban|strong="H3837", Send me away|strong="H7971", that I may go|strong="H3212" unto mine own place|strong="H4725", and to my country|strong="H0776".

Give|strong="H5414" me my wives|strong="H0802" and my children|strong="H3206", for|strong="H2004" whom I have served|strong="H5647" thee, and let me go|strong="H3212": for thou knowest|strong="H3045" my service|strong="H5656" which I have done|strong="H5647" thee.

And Laban|strong="H3837" said|strong="H0559" unto him, I pray thee, if I have found|strong="H4672" favour|strong="H2580" in thine eyes|strong="H5869", tarry: for I have learned by experience|strong="H5172" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath blessed|strong="H1288" me for thy sake|strong="H1558".

And he said|strong="H0559", Appoint|strong="H5344" me thy wages|strong="H7939", and I will give|strong="H5414" it.

And he said|strong="H0559" unto him, Thou knowest|strong="H3045" how|strong="H0834" I have served|strong="H5647" thee, and how|strong="H0834" thy cattle|strong="H4735" was with me.

For it was little|strong="H4592" which thou hadst before I|strong="H6440" came, and it is now increased|strong="H6555" unto a multitude|strong="H7230"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath blessed|strong="H1288" thee since my coming|strong="H7272": and now when|strong="H4970" shall I provide|strong="H6213" for mine own house|strong="H1004" also?

And he said|strong="H0559", What shall I give thee|strong="H5414"? And Jacob|strong="H3290" said|strong="H0559", Thou shalt not give|strong="H5414" me any thing|strong="H3972": if thou wilt do|strong="H6213" this thing|strong="H1697" for me, I will again|strong="H7725" feed|strong="H7462" and keep|strong="H8104" thy flock|strong="H6629":

I will pass|strong="H5674" through all thy flock|strong="H6629" to day|strong="H3117", removing|strong="H5493" from thence all the speckled|strong="H5348" and spotted|strong="H2921" cattle|strong="H7716", and all the brown|strong="H2345" cattle|strong="H7716" among the sheep|strong="H3775", and the spotted|strong="H2921" and speckled|strong="H5348" among the goats|strong="H5795": and of such shall be my hire|strong="H7939".

So shall my righteousness|strong="H6666" answer|strong="H6030" for me in time|strong="H3117" to come|strong="H4279", when it shall come|strong="H0935" for my hire|strong="H7939" before thy face|strong="H6440": every one|strong="H3605" that is not speckled|strong="H5348" and spotted|strong="H2921" among the goats|strong="H5795", and brown|strong="H2345" among the sheep|strong="H3775", that shall be counted stolen|strong="H1589" with me.

And Laban|strong="H3837" said|strong="H0559", Behold, I would it might be|strong="H3863" according to thy word|strong="H1697".

And he removed|strong="H5493" that day|strong="H3117" the he goats|strong="H8495" that were ringstraked|strong="H6124" and spotted|strong="H2921", and all the she goats|strong="H5795" that were speckled|strong="H5348" and spotted|strong="H2921", and every one that had some white|strong="H3836" in it, and all the brown|strong="H2345" among the sheep|strong="H3775", and gave|strong="H5414" them into the hand|strong="H3027" of his sons|strong="H1121".

And he set|strong="H7760" three|strong="H7969" days’|strong="H3117" journey|strong="H1870" betwixt himself and Jacob|strong="H3290": and Jacob|strong="H3290" fed|strong="H7462" the rest|strong="H3498" of Laban’s|strong="H3837" flocks|strong="H6629".

And Jacob|strong="H3290" took|strong="H3947" him rods|strong="H4731" of green|strong="H3892" poplar|strong="H3839", and of the hazel|strong="H3869" and chesnut tree|strong="H6196"; and pilled|strong="H6478" white|strong="H3836" strakes|strong="H6479" in them, and made the white|strong="H3836" appear|strong="H4286" which was in the rods|strong="H4731".

And he set|strong="H3322" the rods|strong="H4731" which he had pilled|strong="H6478" before|strong="H5227" the flocks|strong="H6629" in the gutters|strong="H7298" in the watering|strong="H4325" troughs|strong="H8268" when the flocks|strong="H6629" came|strong="H0935" to drink|strong="H8354", that they should conceive|strong="H3179" when they came|strong="H0935" to drink|strong="H8354".

And the flocks|strong="H6629" conceived|strong="H3179" before the rods|strong="H4731", and brought forth|strong="H3205" cattle|strong="H6629" ringstraked|strong="H6124", speckled|strong="H5348", and spotted|strong="H2921".

And Jacob|strong="H3290" did separate|strong="H6504" the lambs|strong="H3775", and set|strong="H5414" the faces|strong="H6440" of the flocks|strong="H6629" toward|strong="H0413" the ringstraked|strong="H6124", and all the brown|strong="H2345" in the flock|strong="H6629" of Laban|strong="H3837"; and he put|strong="H7896" his own flocks|strong="H5739" by themselves, and put|strong="H7896" them not unto Laban’s|strong="H3837" cattle|strong="H6629".

And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger|strong="H7194" cattle|strong="H6629" did conceive|strong="H3179", that Jacob|strong="H3290" laid|strong="H7760" the rods|strong="H4731" before the eyes|strong="H5869" of the cattle|strong="H6629" in the gutters|strong="H7298", that they might conceive|strong="H3179" among the rods|strong="H4731".

But when the cattle|strong="H6629" were feeble|strong="H5848", he put them not in|strong="H7760": so the feebler|strong="H5848" were Laban’s|strong="H3837", and the stronger|strong="H7194" Jacob’s|strong="H3290".

And the man|strong="H0376" increased|strong="H6555" exceedingly|strong="H3966", and had much|strong="H7227" cattle|strong="H6629", and maidservants|strong="H8198", and menservants|strong="H5650", and camels|strong="H1581", and asses|strong="H2543".
