¹ A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day.

¹ Salmo ou Canção para o dia do Shabat. Bom é dar graças ao SENHOR, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo.

² It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.

² Para anunciar a tua benignidade de manhã, e a tua fidelidade toda noite.

³ To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:

³ Sobre um instrumento de dez cordas, e sobre o saltério; sobre a harpa com um som solene.

⁴ Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.

⁴ Pois tu, SENHOR, fizeste-me feliz por meio da tua obra; triunfarei nas obras das tuas mãos.

⁵ For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.

⁵ Ó SENHOR, quão grandes são as tuas obras! E os teus pensamentos são mui profundos.

⁶ O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep.

⁶ Um homem brutal não conhece; nem um tolo entende isto.

⁷ The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.

⁷ Quando os perversos brotam como a grama, e quando todos os trabalhadores da iniquidade florescerem, é que serão destruídos para sempre.

⁸ When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:

⁸ Mas tu, SENHOR, és Altíssimo para sempre.

⁹ but thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore.

⁹ Pois eis que os teus inimigos, ó SENHOR, pois eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; todos os trabalhadores da iniquidade serão dispersados.

¹⁰ For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

¹⁰ Mas o meu chifre tu exaltarás como o chifre de um unicórnio; eu serei ungido com óleo fresco.

¹¹ But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.

¹¹ Meu olho também verá o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos, e os meus ouvidos ouvirão o meu desejo sobre os perversos que se levantam contra mim.

¹² My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.

¹² O justo florescerá como a palmeira; ele crescerá como o cedro no Líbano.

¹³ The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.

¹³ Aqueles que estão plantados na casa do SENHOR florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.

¹⁴ They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.

¹⁴ Eles gerarão frutos na velhice; serão gordos e prósperos.

¹⁵ They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,

¹⁵ Para mostrarem que o SENHOR é justo; ele é a minha rocha, e não há injustiça nele.

¹⁶ that they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.
