1 Unto the end, for them that shall he changed, a testimony for Asaph, a psalm.
1 Ouve-nos, ó Pastor de Israel! Escuta-nos, tu que guias o teu rebanho! Tu que estás sentado no teu trono, que fica sobre os
2 Give ear, O thou that rulest Israel: thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep. Thou that sittest upon the cherubims, shine forth
2 mostra a tua misericórdia pelas Benjamim e Manassés! Mostra-nos o teu poder; vem e salva-nos.
3 before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasses. Stir up thy might, and come to save us.
3 Faze com que prosperemos de novo, ó Deus! Mostra-nos a tua misericórdia, e seremos salvos.
4 Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.
4 Até quando, ó Senhor , Deus Todo-Poderoso, ficarás do teu povo?
5 O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy servant?
5 Tu nos tens dado pão de lágrimas para comer e um copo cheio de lágrimas para beber.
6 How long wilt thou feed us with the bread of tears: and give us for our drink tears in measure?
6 Tu deixas que as nações vizinhas briguem por causa da nossa terra e que os nossos inimigos zombem de nós.
7 Thou hast made us to be a contradiction to our neighbours: and our enemies have scoffed at us.
7 Faze com que prosperemos de novo, ó Deus Todo-Poderoso! Mostra-nos a tua misericórdia, e seremos salvos.
8 O God of hosts, convert us: and shew thy face, and we shall be saved.
8 Trouxeste do Egito uma parreira , o povo de Israel; expulsaste os outros povos e plantaste essa parreira na terra deles.
9 Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.
9 Preparaste o terreno para ela; as suas raízes entraram fundo na terra, e ela se espalhou por toda parte.
10 Thou wast the guide of its journey in its sight: thou plantedst the roots thereof, and it filled the land.
10 Cobriu os montes com a sua sombra, e os seus galhos cresceram acima dos cedros gigantes.
11 The shadow of it covered the hills: and the branches thereof the cedars of God.
11 Ela estendeu os seus ramos até o mar Mediterrâneo e até o rio Eufrates.
12 It stretched forth its branches unto the sea, and its boughs unto the river.
12 Por que derrubaste as cercas que havia em volta dela? Agora quem passa pelo caminho pode roubar as suas uvas.
13 Why hast thou broken down the hedge thereof, so that all they who pass by the way do pluck it?
13 Os porcos do mato a pisam e a destroem, e os animais ferozes a devoram.
14 The boar out of the wood hath laid it waste: and a singular wild beast hath devoured it.
14 Volta para nós, ó Deus Todo-Poderoso! Lá do céu olha para nós; vem e salva a tua parreira.
15 Turn again, O God of hosts, look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vineyard:
15 Vem e salva essa parreira que tu plantaste, esse ramo novo que fizeste crescer tão forte.
16 And perfect the same which thy right hand hath planted: and upon the son of man whom thou hast confirmed for thyself.
16 Os nossos inimigos a cortaram e queimaram. Na tua ira, olha para eles e acaba com eles.
17 Things set on fire and dug down shall perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Protege e guarda o povo que escolheste, a nação que fizeste crescer tão forte.
18 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand: and upon the son of man whom thou hast confirmed for thyself.
18 Não nos afastaremos de ti outra vez; conserva a nossa vida, e nós te louvaremos.
19 And we depart not from thee, thou shalt quicken us: and we will call upon thy name.
19 Faze com que prosperemos de novo, ó Mostra-nos a tua misericórdia, e seremos salvos.
20 O Lord God of hosts, convert us: and shew thy face, and we shall be saved.
