1 What then the preeminence of the Jew? or what the profit of the circumcision?
1 Qual é, pois, a vantagem do judeu? Ou qual a utilidade da circuncisão?
2 Much, according to every mode. First indeed for, because they were entreated with the oracles of the God.
2 Muita, sob todos os aspectos. Principalmente porque aos judeus foram confiados os oráculos de Deus.
3 What for? if believed not some, not the unbelief of them the faith of the God will make void?
3 E daí? Se alguns não creram, a incredulidade deles virá desfazer a fidelidade de Deus?
4 Not let it be; let it be but the God true, every but man a liar, even as it has been written: That thou mayest be justified in the words of thee, and mayest conquer in the to be judged thee.
4 De maneira nenhuma! Seja Deus verdadeiro, e mentiroso, todo homem, segundo está escrito: Para seres justificado nas tuas palavras e venhas a vencer quando fores julgado.
5 If but the unrighteousness of us of God righteousness establishes, what shall we say? not unrighteous the God that inflicting wrath? (according to man I speak.)
5 Mas, se a nossa injustiça traz a lume a justiça de Deus, que diremos? Porventura, será Deus injusto por aplicar a sua ira? (Falo como homem.)
6 Not let it be; otherwise how will judge the God the world?
6 Certo que não. Do contrário, como julgará Deus o mundo?
7 If for the truth of the God by the my falsehood abounded to the glory of him, why yet also I as a sinner am judged?
7 E, se por causa da minha mentira, fica em relevo a verdade de Deus para a sua glória, por que sou eu ainda condenado como pecador?
8 And not (as we are falsely accused, and as affirm some of us to say,) that we may do the evil things, so that may come the good things? of whom the judgment just is.
8 E por que não dizemos, como alguns, caluniosamente, afirmam que o fazemos: Pratiquemos males para que venham bens? A condenação destes é justa.
9 What then? do we excel? Not at all; we before convicted for, Jews both and Greeks all under sin to be?
9 Que se conclui? Temos nós qualquer vantagem? Não, de forma nenhuma; pois já temos demonstrado que todos, tanto judeus como gregos, estão debaixo do pecado;
10 even as it has been written: That not is just not even one;
10 como está escrito: Não há justo, nem um sequer,
11 not is he understanding, not is he seeking out the God;
11 não há quem entenda, não há quem busque a Deus;
12 all turned aside, together they were unprofitable; not is doing goodness, not is even one.
12 todos se extraviaram, à uma se fizeram inúteis; não há quem faça o bem, não há nem um sequer.
13 A sepulchre having been opened the throat of them; with the tongues of them they deceived. Venom of asps under the lips of them;
13 A garganta deles é sepulcro aberto; com a língua, urdem engano, veneno de víbora está nos seus lábios,
14 Of whom the mouth of cursing and bitterness is full.
14 a boca, eles a têm cheia de maldição e de amargura;
15 Swift the feet of them to pour out blood;
15 são os seus pés velozes para derramar sangue,
16 ruin and misery in the ways of them;
16 nos seus caminhos, há destruição e miséria;
17 and a way of peace not they knew.
17 desconheceram o caminho da paz.
18 Not is fear of God before the eyes of them.
18 Não há temor de Deus diante de seus olhos.
19 We know and, that what things the law says, to those under the law it speaks; that every mouth may be stopped, and liable to penalty may become all the world to the God.
19 Ora, sabemos que tudo o que a lei diz, aos que vivem na lei o diz para que se cale toda boca, e todo o mundo seja culpável perante Deus,
20 Therefore from works of law not shall be justified all flesh before him; through for law an acknowledgment of sin.
20 visto que ninguém será justificado diante dele por obras da lei, em razão de que pela lei vem o pleno conhecimento do pecado.
21 Now but without law a righteousness of God has been made manifest, being attested by the law and the prophets,
21 Mas agora, sem lei, se manifestou a justiça de Deus testemunhada pela lei e pelos profetas;
22 a righteousness even of God through faith of Jesus Anointed, to all and upon all the believing; not for is a distinction.
22 justiça de Deus mediante a fé em Jesus Cristo, para todos [e sobre todos] os que creem; porque não há distinção,
23 All for sinned, and come short of the glory of the God,
23 pois todos pecaram e carecem da glória de Deus,
24 being justified freely, by the of him favor, through the redemption that in Anointed Jesus;
24 sendo justificados gratuitamente, por sua graça, mediante a redenção que há em Cristo Jesus,
25 whom set forth the God a mercyseat through the faith by the of him blood, for a pointing out of the righteousness of himself, through the passing by of the formerly committed sins in the forbearance of the God;
25 a quem Deus propôs, no seu sangue, como propiciação, mediante a fé, para manifestar a sua justiça, por ter Deus, na sua tolerância, deixado impunes os pecados anteriormente cometidos;
26 to a point out of the righteousness of himself in the present time, in order that to be him righteous, and justifying him of faith of Jesus.
26 tendo em vista a manifestação da sua justiça no tempo presente, para ele mesmo ser justo e o justificador daquele que tem fé em Jesus.
27 Where then the boasting? it is shut out. Through what kind of law? of the works? no, but through a law of faith;
27 Onde, pois, a jactância? Foi de todo excluída. Por que lei? Das obras? Não; pelo contrário, pela lei da fé.
28 we reckon for, to be justified by faith a man, without works of law.
28 Concluímos, pois, que o homem é justificado pela fé, independentemente das obras da lei.
29 Or of Jews the God alone? not and of Gentiles? yes also of Gentiles.
29 É, porventura, Deus somente dos judeus? Não o é também dos gentios? Sim, também dos gentios,
30 Since one the God, who will justify circumcision from faith, and uncircumcision through the faith.
30 visto que Deus é um só, o qual justificará, por fé, o circunciso e, mediante a fé, o incircunciso.
31 Law then do we nullify through the faith? Not let it be; but law we establish.
31 Anulamos, pois, a lei pela fé? Não, de maneira nenhuma! Antes, confirmamos a lei.
