1 I entreat therefore you, brethren, through the tender compassion of the God, to present the bodies of you a sacrifice living, holy, wellpleasing to the God, the rational religious service of you;
1 Portanto, meus irmãos, por causa da grande misericórdia divina, peço que vocês se ofereçam completamente a Deus como um sacrifício vivo, dedicado ao seu serviço e agradável a ele. Esta é a verdadeira adoração que vocês devem oferecer a Deus.
2 and not conform yourselves to take age this, but transform yourselves by the renovation of the mind of you, in order that to prove you, what the will of the God, the good and wellpleasing and perfect.
2 Não vivam como vivem as pessoas deste mundo, mas deixem que Deus os transforme por meio de uma completa mudança da mente de vocês. Assim vocês conhecerão a vontade de Deus, isto é, aquilo que é bom, perfeito e agradável a ele.
3 I say for through the favor of that having been given to me, to all to him being among you, not to think above beyond what it behooves to think, but to think in order that to be of sound mind, to each one as the God divided a measure of faith.
3 Por causa da bondade de Deus para comigo, me chamando para ser apóstolo , eu digo a todos vocês que não se achem melhores do que realmente são. Pelo contrário, pensem com humildade a respeito de vocês mesmos, e cada um julgue a si mesmo conforme a fé que Deus lhe deu.
4 Just as for in one body members many we have, the but members all not the same has operation;
4 Porque, assim como em um só corpo temos muitas partes, e todas elas têm funções diferentes,
5 thus the many one body we are in Anointed, the but each one, of each other members.
5 assim também nós, embora sejamos muitos, somos um só corpo por estarmos unidos com Cristo. E todos estamos unidos uns com os outros como partes diferentes de um só corpo.
6 Having but gracious gifts according to the favor the having been given to us of different kinds; if prophets, according to the analogy of the faith.
6 Portanto, usemos os nossos diferentes dons de acordo com a graça que Deus nos deu. Se o dom que recebemos é o de anunciar a mensagem de Deus, façamos isso de acordo com a fé que temos.
7 If service, in the service; if the teaching, in the act of teaching;
7 Se é o dom de servir, então devemos servir; se é o de ensinar, então ensinemos;
8 if the exhorting, in the exhortation; the one giving, with simplicity; the one presiding, with diligence; the one pitying, with cheerfulness.
8 se é o dom de animar os outros, então animemos. Quem reparte com os outros o que tem, que faça isso com generosidade. Quem tem autoridade, que use a sua autoridade com todo o cuidado. Quem ajuda os outros, que ajude com alegria.
9 The love, unfeigned detesting the evil, adhering to the good;
9 Que o amor de vocês não seja fingido. Odeiem o mal e sigam o que é bom.
10 in the brotherly kindness, towards each other tender affection; in the honor each other going before;
10 Amem uns aos outros com o amor de irmãos em Cristo e se esforcem para tratar uns aos outros com respeito.
11 in the study not idle ones; in the spirit being fervent; to the Lord serving;
11 Trabalhem com entusiasmo e não sejam preguiçosos. Sirvam o Senhor com o coração cheio de fervor.
12 in the hope rejoicing; in the affliction being patient; in the prayer constantly attending;
12 Que a esperança que vocês têm os mantenha alegres; aguentem com paciência os sofrimentos e orem sempre.
13 to the wants of the holy ones contributing; the kindness to strangers following.
13 Repartam com os irmãos necessitados o que vocês têm e recebam os estrangeiros nas suas casas.
14 Bless you those persecuting you; bless you, and not curse you.
14 Peçam que Deus abençoe os que perseguem vocês. Sim, peçam que ele abençoe e não que amaldiçoe.
15 To rejoice with rejoicing ones, and to weep with weeping ones.
15 Alegrem-se com os que se alegram e chorem com os que choram.
16 The same for each other minding; not the things high minding, but to the low ones conform yourselves. Not become wise with yourselves.
16 Tenham por todos o mesmo cuidado. Não sejam orgulhosos, mas aceitem serviços humildes. Que nenhum de vocês fique pensando que é sábio!
17 To no one evil in return for evil giving back; providing honorable things in presence of all men;
17 Não paguem a ninguém o mal com o mal. Procurem agir de tal maneira que vocês recebam a aprovação dos outros.
18 if able that from of you, with all men being at peace;
18 No que depender de vocês, façam todo o possível para viver em paz com todas as pessoas.
19 not yourself avenging, beloved ones; but give you a place to the wrath; it has been written for: To me vengeance; I will repay, says Lord.
19 Meus queridos irmãos, nunca se vinguem de ninguém; pelo contrário, deixem que seja Deus quem dê o castigo. Pois as Escrituras Sagradas dizem: “Eu me vingarei, eu acertarei contas com eles, diz o Senhor.”
20 If therefore may hunger the enemy of thee, do thou feed him; if he may thirst give drink to him. This for doing, coals of fire thou wilt pile on the head of him.
20 Mas façam como dizem as Escrituras: “Se o seu inimigo estiver com fome, dê comida a ele; se estiver com sede, dê água. Porque assim você o fará queimar de remorso e vergonha.”
21 Not be overcome by the evil, but overcome by the good the evil.
21 Não deixem que o mal vença vocês, mas vençam o mal com o bem.
