1 And they bring in the ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David hath stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God;
1 Assim, eles trouxeram a arca de Deus, e a puseram no meio da tenda que Davi havia armado; e ofereceram sacrifícios queimados e ofertas de paz diante de Deus.
2 and David ceaseth from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah,
2 E quando Davi havia terminado de oferecer as ofertas queimadas e as ofertas de paz, ele abençoou o povo em nome do SENHOR.
3 and giveth a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
3 E ele repartiu para cada um de Israel, tanto homem, como mulher, um pão, e um bom pedaço de carne, e um frasco de vinho.
4 And he putteth before the ark of Jehovah, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Jehovah, God of Israel,
4 E ele indicou alguns dos levitas para ministrarem diante da arca do SENHOR, para recordarem, para dar graças e louvores ao SENHOR Deus de Israel:
5 Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals is sounding;
5 Asafe, o chefe, e depois dele Zacarias, Jeiel, e Semiramote, e Jeiel, e Matitias, e Eliabe, e Benaia, e Obede-Edom; e Jeiel, com saltérios e com harpas; porém Asafe fazia um som com címbalos;
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
6 também Benaia e Jaaziel, os sacerdotes, continuamente com trombetas diante da arca do pacto de Deus.
7 On that day then hath David given at the beginning to give thanks to Jehovah by the hand of Asaph and his brethren: --
7 Então, naquele dia, Davi entregou primeiro, na mão de Asafe e dos seus irmãos, este salmo para dar graças ao SENHOR.
8 Give thanks to Jehovah, call in His name, Make known among the peoples His doings.
8 Dai graças ao SENHOR, clamai o seu nome, fazei conhecidos os seus feitos entre os povos.
9 Sing ye to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
9 Cantai a ele, cantai-lhe salmos, falai de todas as suas obras maravilhosas.
10 Boast yourselves in His holy name, Rejoice doth the heart of those seeking Jehovah.
10 Gloriai-vos no seu santo nome; que se regozije o coração daqueles que buscam o SENHOR.
11 Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek His face continually.
11 Buscai o SENHOR e a sua força, buscai a sua face continuamente.
12 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
12 Lembrai-vos das obras maravilhosas que ele tem feito, das suas maravilhas, e dos juízos da sua boca.
13 O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
13 Vós, semente de Israel, o seu servo, vós filhos de Jacó, os seus escolhidos.
14 He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
14 Ele é o SENHOR nosso Deus; os seus juízos estão em toda a terra.
15 Remember ye to the age His covenant, The word He commanded -- To a thousand generations,
15 Estejais sempre atentos ao seu pacto; a palavra que ele ordenou a mil gerações;
16 Which He hath made with Abraham, And His oath -- to Isaac,
16 a saber, do pacto que ele celebrou com Abraão, e do seu juramento a Isaque;
17 And He establisheth it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel -- a covenant age-during.
17 e tem confirmado o mesmo a Jacó por uma lei, e a Israel por um pacto eterno,
18 Saying: To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
18 dizendo: A ti darei a terra de Canaã, a porção da tua herança.
19 When ye are few of number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
19 Quando éreis nada mais que poucos, de fato poucos, e estrangeiros nela,
20 And they go up and down, From nation unto nation, And from a kingdom unto another people.
20 e quando eles andavam de nação em nação, e de um reino para outro povo.
21 He hath not suffered any to oppress them, And reproveth on their account kings:
21 Ele não tolerou que homem algum lhe fizesse o mal; sim, reprovou reis por causa deles,
22 Come not against Mine anointed ones, And against My prophets do not evil.
22 dizendo: Não toqueis nos meus ungidos, e não façais mal algum aos meus profetas.
23 Sing to Jehovah, all the earth, Proclaim from day unto day His salvation.
23 Cantai ao SENHOR, toda a terra; proclamai dia após dia a sua salvação.
24 Rehearse among nations His glory, Among all the peoples His wonders.
24 Declarai a sua glória no meio dos pagãos; suas obras maravilhosas no meio de todas as nações.
25 For great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And fearful He [is] above all gods.
25 Porque grande é o SENHOR e poderosíssimo para ser louvado; ele também deve ser temido acima de todos os deuses.
26 For all gods of the peoples [are] nought, And Jehovah the heavens hath made.
26 Porque todos os deuses do povo são ídolos; porém o SENHOR fez os céus.
27 Honour and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
27 Glória e honra estão na sua presença; força e alegria estão no seu lugar.
28 Ascribe to Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
28 Dai ao SENHOR, vós parentes do povo, dai ao SENHOR glória e força.
29 Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.
29 Dai ao SENHOR a glória devida ao seu nome; trazei uma oferta, e vinde diante dele; adorai ao SENHOR na beleza da santidade.
30 Be pained before Him, all the earth:
30 Temei diante dele, toda a terra; o mundo se acha firmado, de modo que não será movido.
31 Also, established is the world, It is not moved! The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations: Jehovah hath reigned.
31 Que os céus se alegrem, e que a terra se regozije; e que os homens digam no meio das nações: o SENHOR reina.
32 Roar doth the sea, and its fulness, Exult doth the field, and all that [is] in it,
32 Que ruja o mar, e a sua plenitude; que os campos se regozijem, e tudo o que está neles.
33 Then sing do trees of the forest, From the presence of Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth!
33 Então, as árvores do bosque cantarão diante da presença do SENHOR, porque ele vem julgar a terra.
34 Give thanks to Jehovah, for good, For to the age, [is] His kindness,
34 Dai graças ao SENHOR; porque ele é bom; pois a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
35 And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Thy holy name, To triumph in Thy praise.
35 E dizei: Salva-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e ajunta-nos, e nos livra dos pagãos, para que possamos dar graças ao teu nome santo, e glória em teu louvor.
36 Blessed [is] Jehovah, God of Israel, From the age and unto the age;` And all the people say, `Amen,` and have given praise to Jehovah.
36 Bendito seja o SENHOR Deus de Israel para sempre e sempre. E todo o povo disse: Amém, e louvou ao SENHOR.
37 And he leaveth there before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day,
37 Assim, ele deixou ali diante da arca do pacto do SENHOR, Asafe e os seus irmãos, para ministrarem continuamente diante da arca, como exigia a tarefa de cada dia;
38 both Obed-Edom and their brethren, sixty and eight, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah for gatekeepers,
38 e Obede-Edom, com os seus irmãos, sessenta e oito; também Obede-Edom, o filho de Jedutum, e Hosa para serem porteiros;
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
39 e Zadoque, o sacerdote, e os seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, diante do tabernáculo do SENHOR no lugar alto que ficava em Gibeão,
40 to cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Jehovah, that He charged on Israel.
40 para oferecerem ofertas queimadas continuamente ao SENHOR sobre o altar da oferta queimada, pela manhã e ao entardecer, e para fazerem segundo tudo o que está escrito na lei do SENHOR, a qual ele ordenou a Israel;
41 And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, for to the age [is] His kindness,
41 e com eles Hemã e Jedutum, e os demais que foram escolhidos, que foram designados por nome, para darem graças ao SENHOR, pois a sua misericórdia dura para sempre;
42 and with them -- Heman and Jeduthun -- [are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
42 e com eles Hemã e Jedutum, com trombetas e címbalos para aqueles que fariam um som, e com instrumentos musicais de Deus. E os filhos de Jedutum eram porteiros.
43 And all the people go, each to his house, and David turneth round to bless his house.
43 E todo o povo partiu, cada homem, para a sua casa; e Davi retornou para abençoar a sua casa.
